Imagine if Hermione killed Malfoy and, with Dumbledore's help, obtained the rest of the Horcruxes, but the Cup... the Hufflepuff Cup, as a Horcrux, is only known to Bellatrix and Voldemort himself.
If the Golden Cup successfully reaches America and another Horcrux exists, then Voldemort is immortal, and all his previous efforts were in vain.
“Because I am here, you will not become that failed Granger.” Nietzsche stared at his prey like a king cobra.
Let's begin... Voldemort, why are you going to such great lengths to try and save Hogwarts? Show your weakness.
Chapter 414 The Show Begins
"I won... Dumbledore, though at a cost exceeding the original plan, I succeeded in the end... Look at your current vulnerable state, what can you do to stop me?"
"After you die, I will throw the corpses of those Mudbloods in front of your grave!"
Voldemort, wand in hand, elegantly raised his little finger as he paced back and forth before the army of darkness, venting his joy.
But when he turned around, he found Grindelwald's 'Dumbledore' staring straight ahead, responding to him with a disdainful sneer. All the threats he had displayed were deconstructed by that mocking gaze.
"Stand up!" Voldemort shouted angrily, raising his wand.
Magic carried out his will, knocking Grindelwald, who was slumped in his wheelchair with his head tilted to the side, flying him into the air and freezing him there.
“Protect your school, come here, great Dumbledore… Don’t you need me to teach you how to bow? I said bow!”
"Click---"
Voldemort did not relax his guard because he was an old man. As he pointed his wand downwards, a great deal of magic flowed to Grindelwald's back, attempting to force him to bend over.
But that's impossible; no one can force Grindelwald to bend over except himself.
Therefore, his body floated in mid-air, his lower body like a steel plate being bent, while his upper body was trying its best to stand up, showing indifferent hostility under the torture of the Black Demon King.
“Is that all?” Grindelwald asked hoarsely and slowly.
He provoked Voldemort with the sharpest words, then carefully hid the ring on his finger.
Red flames suddenly rose from the lawn. To conceal themselves, the Black Dragon of the Hebdiri Islands in the Black Lake stepped onto the deck of a wooden boat that had sunk to the bottom of the water, submerging their entire body underwater, with only the protruding tip of their pen exposed for breathing.
“That’s it, that’s right!” Voldemort roared with a ferocious laugh.
No one could see the two fighting fiercely behind the wall of fire. The spells tore through the long night like lightning, and each exchange caused the clouds overhead to reflect green and red light.
But they could hear Voldemort's laughter, and then a figure flew through the flames and crashed to the ground.
"You've grown old," the Dark Lord said, holding the old wand in both hands with ecstatic joy. "That's your strength, that's why you're stronger than me. The prophecy has proven this to me!"
Several werewolves crawled over, intending to finish off Grindelwald, who was lying on the ground barely alive, but the Dark Lord stopped them all.
He opened his arms toward Hogwarts as if to embrace them, and then Nietzsche saw Nagini and Narcissa emerge from both sides, seemingly listening to some new instructions.
Take one more step forward...come here...
Nietzsche pinched his knuckles, silently calculating in his mind the distance between the shadows cast by the firelight and the castle.
"Get Minerva ready!" Dumbledore said, seeing that Voldemort had lowered his guard after receiving the Elder Wand. He then drew the wand he had exchanged with Grindelwald, which was, in other words, his first wand.
The principal's message was conveyed through the portrait, and soon everyone arrived.
In each of the offices, which were originally decorated like cozy European country cottages, the professors jumped out of the windows in all directions.
Next is...
"Take me with you!" the Sorting Hat rang out in its incongruous tone, twisting its tip on the wooden frame as it said, "Don't forget I'm part of Hogwarts too... Child, take me with you."
The Sorting Hat seemed to wish it could bite off the enemy's finger with its lousy mouth.
However, Hermione was the first to realize something. She first glanced at the other silver alchemical ornaments on the wooden shelf, and then gently pinched the brim of the wizard's hat, not feeling any extra weight at all.
"I know who to give it to," she said quickly, rushing out of the principal's office.
The previously empty corridor was suddenly filled with countless footsteps. When she ran to the U-shaped corridor, she could see that Ravenclaw and Gryffindor had already run out of their respective towers.
The students who had just run out of the lounge to get some fresh air immediately surrounded Hermione upon seeing her.
"Does the headmaster need reinforcements?" Seamus shrieked. "The fat lady only released us after receiving instructions from Headmistress McGonagall. I'm telling you, how much longer are we going to have to wait?"
“Just tell us what we should do, Granger Prefect!” Cho Chang said hurriedly.
They'd been locked in the professors' lounge for ages and were really going stir-crazy.
George and Fred ran over carrying several large boxes, and while everyone was still gathered together, they said, "Come here, everyone! Free magical weapons... Freezing Spell Grenades and Devil's Web Grenades... Two for each of you, take them!"
Everyone eagerly drew their wands, pinned badges containing rune magic to their chests, and hung two sticky spheres on their belts.
At this historic moment, they didn't seem to fear death much; their ignorance became their best morale.
"Where's Potter?" Hermione roared like Professor McGonagall reprimanding a student. "Quiet down! Get Harry Potter here! Has anyone seen him? George! Fred! Get your Ginny to call him!"
Everyone listened to her, and her influence gradually spread from the front row to the outermost part of the corridor.
"Potter! The prefect is looking for Potter!"
"Little McGonagall is looking for Harry!"
"The Dean is looking for Harry..."
Within ninety seconds, the sharp-eyed Hermione spotted a pair of hands waving in the crowd.
Although he didn't know why Hermione had become the Headmistress by the time the news reached Harry Potter... he wanted to squeeze through to ask what was going on, but the narrow corridor and his equally anxious classmates didn't give him the chance.
Finally, Ron had no choice but to grab his legs and throw him into the crowd.
Harry's feelings were complicated. He had previously had a terrible relationship with Snape, but with Lupin's explanation and his own judgment on those old matters, he gradually came to terms with the professor. And today, it suddenly became his time to test the school's achievements.
He couldn't move, being lifted and pushed above his head by countless large hands, like a jellyfish washed ashore by the tide.
"Gently...gently."
Ignoring the Sorting Hat's grumbling, Hermione forcefully shoved it into Harry's arms and then patted him on the shoulder earnestly.
"Listen to me, my friends!" she cried out sincerely without using any amplification spells, "This is your moment to be tested. I need you to accomplish a goal while protecting the castle."
Harry clutched the constantly complaining Sorting Hat, bewildered, as countless eyes were fixed on him.
"Open a path for Harry Potter, any path that leads to Voldemort!" Hermione waved her hand.
The Gryffindors roared deafeningly, and the Quidditch members, including George, Fred, and Jordan, pushed their way through the crowded throng, their arms reaching out from both sides of the aisle, constantly pulling Harry forward.
They surged outwards like a flood bursting its banks, encouraged by Hermione.
Let's end this old night! Everything will end tonight!
Once everyone had left the U-shaped corridor, every window, drawbridge, and other spot became a point of attack. Hermione, who had used all her strength to scream, leaned against the side of the corridor, panting heavily, trying to relieve the flush on her face.
As the giants, werewolves, and vampires passed Grindelwald, beams of multicolored light silently swept across the lawn, drawing streaks of neon in the air.
A curtain of light rose along the edge of Hogwarts—the prey had been caught in the net.
Chapter 415 Xi, Can We Reconcile?
"Protect them all—" With Dumbledore's permission, the professors activated the castle's defensive magic.
Nagini appeared, Nagini couldn't leave, Nagini was stunned.
A dazzling barrier enveloped the entire Hogwarts, staging a 'light show' that even Dementors couldn't stop:
The massive dock rose from the lakebed, and countless black magic spells burst forth from the still-dripping, vine-covered windows, forming a crossfire network with the castle windows and the Beauxbatons students on the outer walls.
"Expecto Patronum!"
Hermione rode back to Smaug, joining dozens of black dragons that had leaped from the Black Lake to surround the rear of Voldemort's army.
The guardian phoenix emitted a dazzling white light, dispelling the surrounding Dementors and disrupting Voldemort's aerial support with a swift and unexpected attack.
This is the opportunity.
Subsequently, Krum of Durmstrang and Cedric of Hogwarts will form a rapid reaction unit consisting of two Quidditch teams, taking over air superiority under the protection of the Phoenix, and freely moving within the Patronus's range of activity.
trap!!
Enraged, Voldemort shouted to those behind him, "Concentrate your attacks on one point!"
But by the time he figured out his only way out, it was too late. Karkaroff, under the protection of the fire dragons, had already reached the weak point of the Peaceful Guardian Spell and was surrounded by the centaurs and fire dragons lying in ambush in the Forbidden Forest.
The powerful centaurs trampled the eight-eyed giant spider with their iron hooves, while the golden dragon tore apart the approaching werewolves with its sharp claws.
"Avada---"
Voldemort's crimson eyes were filled with rage and hatred. He casually conjured a silver shield from the air to block the incoming spells. He couldn't see those who were hiding, so he could only retaliate by following the trajectory of the spells.
The fierce green light flew past, powerful enough, but its accuracy was disappointing, only blasting a three- or four-meter-wide gash into Durmstrang's wooden ship.
His most prized killing curse proved useless in small-scale, tactical battles.
Perhaps some lucky ones will be able to use the giant's body to rush through the barrage of fire. They will desperately rush to the gate of the sundial garden city wall, excited about the upcoming close-quarters slaughter, where they will be met by dozens of lightsabers of different colors.
Nietzsche, clad in armor and a helmet made of basilisk scales, would use a crimson light to show his enemies what fear was.
With a grab of his left hand, he used magic to pull back a vampire that was trying to escape, and then pierced its heart with a scorching 'beam of light'.
"Dobby." Nietzsche snapped his fingers.
The wizard's casting speed alone is not enough.
With the explosive sound of the phantoms appearing, a group of stormtroopers followed Dobby and appeared outside the wall. They knelt on one knee, lined up in a row, and suppressed the surging torrent of creatures in front of them with overwhelming firepower.
Each beam was a standard Explosive Charm; for Muggles, all they had to do was aim and fire.
The magic intertwined across the battlefield caused the cruel beasts called 'man' to scream in agony. They were all blasted into mincemeat by shredded spells or roasted to a crisp by fire spells on their way to the castle...
The dark army was cut in two as planned, one half inside and one half outside.
Of course, giants, creatures that are naturally immune to magic, are more troublesome; they are even more annoying than trolls.
One of the towering giants rose from the ground and launched a frenzied charge at Nietzsche. Just as he was about to leap up to dodge, a huge and sharp stone spear suddenly pierced his heart.
Giants also helped, but they were 'stone giants'.
When Nietzsche turned around, he realized that the entire Hogwarts had come alive. The tall knight statues had torn off the vines that had been growing on their bodies and affecting their joints. They jumped down from the walls and used their hardest bodies to hold off the giants on the other side.
The statue swung its massive stone sword with a whooshing sound, and he felt as if some of the giants hadn't been killed by the sword itself, but rather by being crushed by its blade.
“I’ve always wanted to try this spell,” Professor McGonagall said, rubbing her hands together and looking at the bewildered Nietzsche. “Go ahead, I’ll take care of the giant.”
The giant's advantage also disappeared; how could a mere body withstand a hard and fully armed statue?
