The storyline of Honkai Impact 3rd doesn't focus on how strong the Herrschers are, how powerful their combat abilities are, or how cool their fights are. Instead, it devotes the most attention to the descriptions of their relationships, the characters' psychology, and the changes in their emotions.

From the initial Paramecium, Sky Ranger, and Flamebringer to Kiana who eventually becomes Superman.

The amount of writing devoted to this one character is enough to fill a novel, and the text about Alicia alone adds up to 70 words.

That's why we unconsciously veered into the characters' psychology at the beginning, even though the result was that the book was either infamous or met with a barrage of criticism.

I originally thought that this kind of article would have more discussion about the plot, with people writing short essays of regret or happy endings where everything is saved in the comments section.

Our problem.

Some people even complained about our ellipses in the previous pictures. Although an ellipsis only represents two words, it can be considered a problem. It was for the sake of visual appeal, hoping to separate two unrelated things a little further apart.

But are there really so many chapters out of these fifty-odd chapters that can be deleted without affecting the plot, immersion, or emotions?

From the very beginning, when he met Alicia and found the girl in the jungle, his life gradually became monotonous and disheartening as he was initially enthusiastic but was eventually ignored. Even his birthday celebrations had become more like social gatherings.

He met Vilvie on the road like in a light novel. Later, when no one paid attention to him at the banquet, he personally gave her a gift. Over the years, he was determined to help Jiang Cheng escape the time of being ignored.

Even knowing that there is a cliff in front of them, even if their inferiority complex makes it impossible for them to have even the slightest chance of victory.

In the end, Vilvi did just that.

The contradiction lies in points 15 to 19.

Because this light was so intense, the girl, who had never seen light before, ran away, fearing that it was nothing more than a bubble under the sun.

It wasn't until their shared trauma was revealed that the inviolable radiance was somewhat dispelled. Only then did the distance known as the most distant longing finally dissipate, allowing Vervi to see the equally ordinary Jiangcheng in that radiance.

A wonderful life, a gradually acquired status—everything was so beautiful, as if this moment were forever.

Even if there is still hesitation and insecurity in one's heart.

Those who have reached the end have no way to turn back.

That is precisely why people feel lifelong regret at the moment a tragedy occurs.

Their previous interactions and encounters are not only important milestones in the plot, but also stepping stones to the next stage, and the pent-up energy building for the climax, waiting for their own spark to ignite.

We treat the girls in the story as real individuals, not as mere templates. They are not cold tools that use a few lines adapted from the original work to highlight their own character and then instantly fawn over the protagonist.

A great deal of effort was put into portraying Vilvi's hesitation, while the meaningless psychological descriptions took up even more of the energy.

I believe the plot is quite well-structured at every stage.

It was precisely because Alicia was forced to make a choice, expanding her social circle and giving her a clear goal in socializing, rather than just aimless travel, that the top genius, Velvet, was discovered ahead of time.

That's why Jiangcheng was able to meet this socially anxious person.

It was precisely because Jiang Cheng was ignored that this somewhat withdrawn girl approached him and gave him a gift, because she shared the sadness of being ignored, instead of trying to escape the scorching sun.

Jiang Cheng was only able to understand and help the girl, the only one who cared about his feelings, because he had been shown understanding.

It is precisely because they are both neglected and ignored that they yearn for someone who empathizes with them, someone willing to chat with them, and in helping the other person, they are actually helping themselves.

Therefore, the boy behaved very gently, and it was this gentleness and empathetic tolerance that made this self-proclaimed somewhat talented fool, a girl who was afraid of being alone and had low self-esteem, take a crucial step for the boy.

The answer to love is the desire to be seen. It is this shared trauma that allows us to see each other.

If Alicia is like the wind that you can't grasp or hold, then Velvi is something that truly appears beside you, something you can touch, something whose flaws you can feel—when you look up, hoping to catch the wind, perhaps someone else is also raising their hand, trying to grab your swaying sleeve.

It is precisely because of this authenticity, this authenticity that makes people unable to resist relying on it and placing their emotions in it, that the loss becomes so unforgettable.

Because the wind can never be grasped, even if you want to place your emotions on something, you can't find an object to place them on. You can only look at it from afar and remember it.

The girl's breath, blowing across the ripples on the lake, rustling through the leaves, and caressing the swaying grass on the ground, carries the fragrance of distant flowers, which will stay in my heart.

Abstraction is a romantic thing, but romance is like water; if you soak in it all the time, you'll get sick of it. Ordinary people really can't be like those geniuses, who are always emotionally free and full of talent; they always have to get closer to reality.

Vervi is the real deal.

A soft touch, a close temperature, and breaths so close together.

As night falls, lying on the lawn and gazing at the moon, I am captivated by its beauty—a flawless moon so close yet sacred in the distance. I stretch out my palm, and there's always a corner of the moon that I feel belongs only to me.

But it was nighttime, and there was always a cold wind blowing, making me shiver all over.

The warmth of this moment is not limited to the physical; the warmth in one's heart is the true meaning that ordinary people choose to pursue.

While Alicia is like a gust of wind, the wind is not always unpredictable.

The initial attraction stemmed from their first encounter in Chapter Two.

Like Alice in Wonderland, it's as if you've stepped into a fairytale world, an incredible kingdom, sweet as honey. It's precisely this kind of beauty that's suitable for fairies seeking an eternal paradise.

The prince in fairy tales, the prince who saves the princess, is essentially just an ordinary protagonist.

Even disregarding the so-called fledgling effect, the boy's role is that of the true guide who led the girl into this wonderful world. Moreover, because the boy is always by her side, he becomes the rope tied to the world, fixing the girl, like a gust of wind, in place.

The light that flashed in those eyes was like the starry sky. The girl didn't realize what that scene meant until she saw the stars. It was very romantic, and it was this kind of romance that was the same as the romance of pursuing paradise.

Perhaps this is why some people criticize us for not portraying Alicia as divine enough.

This is also our fault.

My writing skills and everything else are terrible; I can't perfectly capture Alicia's flawlessness.

The world is cruel; from a realistic perspective, the pursuit of a perfect paradise is simply a joke.

Nothing is eternal, and there is no such thing as absolute happiness.

To reiterate, this kind of romance is detached from humanity, yet it embraces humanity nonetheless.

The girl's approach to humans is essentially a display of her imperfections. Regardless of her past, from this moment on, the flawless fairy is no longer perfect.

Since we possess human appearance and human qualities, breathe like humans, and live like humans; experiencing joy, sorrow, despair, and triumph at times, we are naturally also subject to human selfishness.

Like humans, we are imperfect; like humans, we have flaws; like humans, we crave the love of others. Even in the flawless splendor of humanity, there is complexity.

The emotions conveyed by that beating, passionate heart are absolutely genuine.

Fairy tales, with their lack of rules and regulations, political elements, and dark and cruel elements, are the most suitable for young girls to have princes and princesses.

Although the final outcome is already indicated in the title, this simulation is unlikely to have a happy ending.

A touch of tragedy makes things more memorable.

The biggest advantage of simulation, in my opinion, is that you can write a truly good story without any constraints or being hindered by various causes and consequences, and you don't have to worry about how to write the rest after you've already written it.

It allows us to freely express what we want to write, and after writing it down, we feel that the effect is quite good.

If this book weren't a simulation, I would absolutely never dare to write about the conflict between Velvi and Alicia. Even if it existed, I would never choose one so that the other could never appear, and I would only make the other the loser or something like that.

Even the slightest hint of a knife later on is something I absolutely dare not touch.

You won't be able to see the plot that you enjoy.

There's not much to write about in the main world's perfect ending, so are we going to continue creating chaotic situations and doing something like that other big shot?

While it's nice to have some fun and add some humor to abstract storylines, seeing the same chaotic situations too often isn't good. It would be better to weave them into the story, advancing the narrative a little after each simulation ends.

In terms of simulation, I will try my best to write something different, and it will definitely not be a formulaic process... otherwise I wouldn't have bothered to write so many psychological descriptions.

To delve into the psychological changes of a character and write them realistically is a very difficult and exhausting task.
