The loss of Saint Peter in the mythological world will inevitably affect the real-world structure of human history. The gods of various pantheons, who are currently unable to interfere too much with the real-world history of human history, mostly send demigods to the human world to make arrangements.

In human history, God intended for Saint Peter, who was right beside him, to descend from heaven to become a human being! The other disciples could not put God's mind at all.

But now his plans have been completely disrupted!

Chapter Twenty-Two: The ugliness of angels is meant to scare away demons; don't be afraid, child.

It was a hidden sound wave that ordinary people could not hear.

An ominous yet sacred song resounded throughout heaven—even the saints on the surface of the fairy tale world seemed to transcend time and space at the same time, receiving some signal, all stopping what they were doing, suppressing their smiles and all emotions, and rushing to heaven!

God is furious!

The ruler of this world is furious. Who has angered that omnipotent god?

As if feeling the anger as if it were their own, countless believers, disciples, and angels roared and trembled in fear!

Because only when that god reveals his unkind and amiable side can you understand that this god is the most terrifying being in the world.

Even the angels and disciples who were closest to God dared not speak out in the face of a God in a fit of rage, for fear of suffering terrible punishment.

When the disciples, and even the Virgin Mary, were driven back to Heaven by an angry God.

'Saint Peter has disappeared—'

Soon all the saints learned of this news.

"On the throne...seraphim stood, each with six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew." —Isaiah 6:1-3

"Each cherub has four faces: first the face of a cherubim, second the face of a man, third the face of a lion, and fourth the face of an eagle." — Ezekiel 10:14

As described by the angels in the Old Testament, accompanied by God's wrath, it was as if they had fallen into a paradise on the eve of destruction. When the saints returned, it was already a scene of heaven and hell.

Unlike the pure, endless, boundless white of night—the absolute, correct concept of heaven and hell.

At this moment, heaven was filled with countless angels who were unable to control their forms and were displaying all sorts of ominous postures.

The world is part of that God, and the saints, who are separated from that God's totality, are most susceptible to that God's influence.

But when God is enraged, the angels also reveal a terrifying side that has never been seen before.

Just as everyone experiences negative emotions, negative things are always ugly and unseen, inspiring fear and dread.

Countless ugly, sanity-lowering angels, more terrifying than octopus tentacles, and even one-eyed angels, appear in heaven, serving around God.

At this moment, only the disciples who ascended to heaven in human form and Mary, the Virgin Mary, still maintained their radiant forms.

This divine kingdom, a bizarre and terrifying divine realm filled with both sacred and evil, and radiant with various lights rising into the sky, is further afflicted by the various calamities that occur in heaven due to God's wrath.

In a paradise where natural disasters should not occur, various scenes such as earthquakes, tsunamis, lava eruptions, and meteorites falling from the sky have appeared.

This scene terrified and chilled Saint John and Saint Joseph, who had just arrived!

'Who could anger God to this extent?'

Even when God intended to destroy the world and sent a great flood, He didn't ravage His Kingdom like this! What happened?

Compared to the calamities in the Heavenly Kingdom, the fact that those originally beautiful little angels suddenly transformed into such an evil group, resembling various demons, devils, and monsters from hell, did not surprise the group at all, as if they had already understood the true nature of these angels.

Ultimately, if anyone truly believes that hell is the opposite of heaven, then that's utterly ridiculous.

This is a monotheistic world!

An angel who performs poorly can simply change his appearance and be banished to hell, where he can immediately become a renowned duke or devil.

In the Old Testament—specifically in the Book of Exodus—there are descriptions of angels.

God sent angels to help Moses destroy the Egyptians. Through Moses' words, the description of the destruction is given: the angels have fiery faces, torch-like eyes, burning bronze legs, and hammer-like hands.

There are countless other descriptions of angels with bizarre, terrifying, mysterious, and absurd forms, each one a non-human being.

There's a saying that explains this quite well.

'Angels are ugly to scare away demons; demons are beautiful, meant to tempt you, not to frighten you.'

and so--

'Don't be afraid, child.'

They were just angels who couldn't maintain their forms because their powers were out of control...

Ignoring their contorted postures, St. John, the youngest and most beloved of God, asked, "My dear God, who has angered you so?"

God: "Someone has taken Saint Peter away, along with your companion, my dearest gatekeeper of Heaven, and taken him away from this universe forever..."

Without revealing the loss of his authority, God spoke in such a cold voice.

Immediately, the angels and disciples below were all shocked and began to discuss among themselves.

Although they had received prior notice, they were still shocked to hear God speak about it in person after everyone had gathered.

Because they understand how vast and incredibly powerful God's might is, they cannot believe that anyone could secretly do such a thing under God's control.

Moreover—it's clear that God hasn't found the culprit yet, otherwise He wouldn't have gone to such lengths to recall them all.

That's right—God really didn't find anyone.

He consulted with the believers who had replaced Peter as the gatekeeper of the Kingdom of Heaven. After learning about Peter's orientation, he easily observed the area where night fell, but could not see anything.

It was as if someone had wiped it with a rag; nothing was left, just like a piece of the once complete world had been emptied out.

This made God immediately realize that a god from another pantheon had entered his world. This god was no ordinary god; at the very least, he had mastered the universe of his own pantheon, possessed omnipotent authority, and could use his omnipotent authority to resist his probing!

A god with such power can only be the supreme god or god-king of each pantheon.

Is it Zeus of Greece? Ra of Egypt? Or Ahura of ancient Persia, or An, the Mesopotamian god?

Zeus was old—although he was once the king of the most powerful pantheon in human and mythological history, he stagnated after establishing Olympus and developing the powerful twelve Olympian gods, because of a prophecy—he successfully murdered his father and usurped power, replacing the sky with thunder and becoming a new omnipotent god.

But prophecy was both his strength and his weakness, leaving him with a self-destructive factor in human history. In order to prevent his destiny from coming true, he was never able to take a real step forward. He could only keep having children so that his youngest child would never be born, thus avoiding the fate of patricide!

Apart from Zeus, none of the other gods in the pantheon could possibly defeat him! He didn't take any of them seriously.

Who else could it be?

Chapter Twenty-Three: Saint Joseph: I've never killed a god before, I want to try! Night: My wish will be granted.

Looking at the surrounding pantheons, there isn't a single one that it can even take seriously.

Having secretly completed his development, God originally intended to take action against the surrounding pantheons.

Aside from the Greek pantheon, which was preoccupied with its own transformation into Persian mythology, the Egyptian pantheon was still relatively large. However, when Jesus Christ was born into human history, he would naturally send disciples to Egypt to preach.

Therefore, they had already chosen their disciples to go and preach, and they would have them die unexpectedly on Egyptian territory, thus providing a perfect justification for their large-scale invasion.

—This was followed by the Ten Commandments, which wiped out the Egyptian pantheon in one fell swoop.

Even if he didn't prepare any reason, given that other pantheons are either on the verge of self-destruction or preoccupied with internal strife, they have little chance of uniting.

However, considering that there is a colossal entity in the East, the Chinese mythology, although it is far away and probably cannot be controlled for the time being, he does not want to provoke those monsters before he unifies the West.

They might first come into contact with Buddhism, which is located right next to them.

who can that be?

No matter who it is, even Buddhism—before it has even made a move against the surrounding universe, the gods of other mythologies have already begun to steal its fruits.

If he weren't worried that a full-scale battle at this time would expose everything he was hiding to other pantheons, he would have already made his move.

Although it hasn't been completely exposed yet, the situation remains critical unless the thief who entered their world is caught.

Thinking of this—God began to issue commands to all the holy beings…

“I called you here not because I fear that outsider, but to keep you vigilant at all times—to let him see my true power! Since He has attacked Saint Peter, He will surely attack you as well. As long as I am here, He will not be able to leave this world so easily.”

Having completely sealed off his own universe with divine power, he turned serious and spoke in a cold voice.

God has permitted it. From this day forward, the divine beings walking on earth can unleash their power to the fullest extent, releasing themselves from the constraints He has imposed upon them and granting them complete authority! They are now allowed to draw upon even more of the full power originating from themselves!

Once you detect the presence of a foreign deity, immediately unleash your full power. You will then discover it yourself and personally go to catch the thief.

"You must believe me, I will be with you," God said to all the holy beings.

After this special word of power and blessing was bestowed.

The aura emanating from the twelve apostles, including the Virgin Mary, surged dramatically, becoming incredibly terrifying.

With a deafening roar, several angels whose appearances had already become distorted were instantly shattered by the burst of divine power, leaving them in a bloody mess.

But nobody cared.

At this moment, beneath the Virgin Mary's compassionate and benevolent divine posture, the flesh and blood appear so glaring and eerily ironic.

Upon receiving this power, the twelve disciples and the Virgin Mary were immediately at ease.

Completely restrict liberation!

This means that they can immediately use the power bestowed by God in their normal state. In this world—as long as God still exists—they can all exert power at the pseudo-single-universe level.

It's called fake because it's borrowed power. If it encounters the constraints of a larger, more powerful force of the same kind, it will be as fragile as a paper tiger, easily punctured.

But how is this possible?

They are already the strongest group in the Kingdom of Heaven besides God. Unless the only one above them who can suppress them, the Virgin Mary, rebels, as long as they are in this world, possessing this power is no different from having their own power!

Although it is an omnipotent borrowed from other mythologies, there is no need to fear any god in the mythology!

Even if we can't win, surely we can hold out until God comes?

Upon realizing this, the disciples immediately stopped worrying and panicking, and one by one they calmed down and showed joyful smiles on their faces.

Saint Joseph even praised the great God, saying that he would actively search the earth and if he found that foreign god, he would definitely twist off its head and drink from it!

The saints then left heaven and returned to the human world.

As soon as he stepped out of the gates of Heaven, Saint Joseph couldn't help but burst into unrestrained, maniacal laughter. Beneath his dazzling, Apollo-like golden hair, his handsome face revealed a sadistic killing intent: "Hahahaha, things are finally getting interesting. I hope the little bug isn't discovered by others too quickly, or it won't be fun."

He had to thank the outsider, because it was through this outsider that they were able to use their power more recklessly and gain more authority.

As for Saint Peter? He's probably dead. Even God can't sense his presence anymore.

Saint Joseph had long disliked that nice guy.

If something dies, it dies... It's a good thing to make the most of it.

Come to think of it—he has never killed a god with his own hands! Even gods other than God are nothing but false gods.

But even disciples as powerful as them dare not call themselves gods, yet a little mouse from outside can call himself a god, even a god-king.
