Due to the captain's capriciousness, Nami and the others, though somewhat unwilling, had no choice but to grit their teeth and participate in this challenge.

Fanny neither agreed nor disagreed with this situation, which resembled children playing house.

If Luffy wasn't willful, he wouldn't be King Luffy.

The Straw Hat crew has been working hard for so long, so a fun game would be nice.

It's just a game anyway; if things go wrong, I can always back out later.

An unsigned piece of paper is like... well, you know, in the toilet...

And so, he leisurely became a cheerleader.

This competition has three stages.

The first challenge was a rowing competition. Luffy and his crew were divided into three groups to participate, and the losing team had to take away one of their crew members.

The match was extremely intense once it started.

The Straw Hat Boys' "Human Cart Number" and "One Board Number" were quickly eliminated.

However, the "Barrel Tiger" crew, led by the fiercely competitive Nami, performed exceptionally well, taking the lead all the way and establishing itself as the top force.

With the finish line in sight and the "Barrel Tiger" about to cross the finish line and win the victory, Foxy, who possesses the slow-motion ability of the Devil Fruit, suddenly intervened.

A sly glint flashed in his eyes as he muttered incantations, and a strange beam of light shot towards the "Barrel Tiger".

At this critical moment, a red rose covered in thorns suddenly pierced Foxy's hand, causing him to cry out in pain.

"Are you Korean? Why do you like cheating so much?"

Not far away, Fanny looked elegantly at Foxy, a hint of disdain in his eyes.

Foxy then realized that there were others in the Straw Hat crew who were unaffected by his slowing ability, which made him very wary.

However, despite Van Nistelrooy's intervention to stop Foxy, the "Barrel Tiger" went off the track due to its excessive speed.

In the end, they suffered a spectacular defeat.

The rare beast Chopper lost to the opponent as a result.

The second round of the competition started right after the first round, and Van Nistelrooy didn't understand what this round was called.

Luffy's side sent the very reliable Sanji and Zoro to participate.

However, before these two could even begin to deal with external enemies, they started fighting amongst themselves.

They argued endlessly about the strategy and division of labor in the game, neither willing to give in.

Although it was ultimately decided that Sanji would be the ball player and Zoro would be the attacker.

But their opponents are the Foxy team's wobbly monsters, a formidable squad consisting of Hamburger, Piculus, and Bikupanda.

From the start of the game, the Foxy team displayed their underhanded tactics.

They openly used weapons, plunging Sanji and Zoro into an unprecedentedly difficult battle.

Van Nistelrooy did not stop Foxy's despicable act this time; in fact, he watched it with interest.

In his eyes, the Foxy team was far too weak compared to the Straw Hat crew.

This behavior can be considered a reasonable competitive tactic for the weaker party.

It's better than losing if you don't put the chess piece on the lid of the box.

As expected, just when everyone thought the Straw Hat Pirates were doomed to lose, Sanji unleashed his power and launched a counterattack.

Zoro was not to be outdone, and the two joined forces to defeat the Foxy team in a fair and square manner.

After Luffy and his crew won the second round, Luffy chose to rescue the injured Sherry for Uncle Donggete's sake.

The third round of the competition was a "roller skating chase".

Everyone initially thought Luffy was strong enough to participate twice in the five rounds of the competition.

However, no one expected that Luffy couldn't ice skate at all.

He stumbled and fell on the field, causing quite a few laughs.

Even so, Luffy led his crew to an unexpected victory and successfully rescued the ship's doctor, Chopper, who had been taken away.

However, Foxy was not willing to accept defeat, so he challenged Luffy to an overtime match.

Fanny felt that there was no point in continuing like this, so he punched Luffy on the head, who was eager to try.

"Look at Shirley over there, she's almost completely cold, hurry up and save her!"

Then Fanny roared.

"Smith Marseille~"

Foxy knew he couldn't afford to mess with Van Nistelrooy, so he proposed a final showdown, a single match to decide the winner.

The two captains, Foxy and Luffy, will engage in a one-on-one duel.

With Nami egging him on, Foxy agreed to go all in.

The stage for the one-on-one duel was set on the Foxy, and as expected, the ship was filled with Foxy's traps.

To make matters worse, Foxy also used a slow-motion ray during the match, putting Luffy in danger from the very beginning.

Foxy's Slowing Beam had initially subdued Luffy, but after being hit repeatedly, he collapsed from exhaustion.

However, Foxy never expected that Luffy had been hiding his strength all along, and his Slow Beam had no effect on Luffy at all.

If your slowness is ten times greater and my speed is 1000, how would you respond?

If your slowness is 100 times greater and my speed is 10000, how would you respond?

Under Luffy's attack at maximum speed, Foxy was knocked down with a single punch and lay on the deck, completely convinced of his defeat.

However, Foxy did not give up; he launched a sneak attack.

Nami, unable to tolerate this erratic behavior any longer, finally snapped.

"Thunderous Guidance? One Hundred Million Volts!"

A powerful bolt of lightning shot towards Luffy and Foxy, shocking them both and sending them flying.

Although Luffy has rubber powers, he still felt a sharp pain under Nami's lightning, which was infused with her cosmos power.

Fox apologized to Donggett and Shirley, offered them some money as compensation, and that was the end of it.

And so, at Luffy's suggestion, the Foxy Pirates and the Straw Hat Pirates held a barbecue party on the island.

Well, the losing side, the professional gaming companions, will have the Foxy Pirates providing the money and effort, while the Straw Hat Pirates will provide the cook.

Then, in the eating contest, Luffy single-handedly ate up all of the Foxy Pirates' food reserves and won.

……

Chapter 48 Repairing the Going Merry, the Straw Hat Pirates undergoing amnesia training.

Fanny and Usopp were busy and sweating profusely in the cabin, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

The two stood in the cabin of the ark, their eyes revealing focus and seriousness.

Because they deeply understood the importance of the Going Merry to the entire Straw Hat crew.

It was more than just a ship; it was their home on the sea, carrying their dreams and memories.

Although neither of them were professional boatmen and their skills were very limited, they still did their best.

Even Van Nistelrooy dared not slack off in this regard.

After carefully transferring the mental time device to the more durable Ark, he then devoted himself to the repair work on the Merry.

"Usopp, the damage to this ship is more serious than we thought, and the repairs are taking way too long."

Fanny, holding the hammer, wiped the sweat from his brow with his arm.

"It's alright. As long as we work hard, we'll definitely be able to restore the Going Merry to its former glory."

"It is our most important partner, and we absolutely cannot give it up."

Usopp, wiping the sweat from his brow as he fiddled with the tools in his hands, said breathlessly.

The two of them encouraged each other, one after the other, and gradually repaired every damaged part of the Merry.

Well, some of those words were just Fanny trying to comfort Usopp.

The Merry will be decommissioned soon.

But for some reason, Vannie actually enjoyed doing this pointless work with Usopp.

Thanks to their tireless efforts, the Merry was finally able to set sail.

When they saw the Going Merry slowly start moving, both Fanny and Usopp wore relieved smiles.

Although the Going Merry is still far from its former glory, it is a huge victory for the Straw Hat crew.

They preferred to stay on the Going Merry rather than on the luxurious Ark Proverb.

Van Nistelrooy was no exception.

In their hearts, the Merry was the only ship that truly belonged to them.

The Ark Maxims were merely a tool for transporting gold.

As usual, Luffy sat in his captain's seat and began fishing with great enthusiasm.

He sat on the sheep's head, gripping the fishing rod tightly in his hand, his eyes fixed on the sea, humming an off-key tune.

Suddenly, the fishing rod sank sharply, and Luffy shouted excitedly.

"Wow! A big one has taken the bait!"

He used all his strength to pull the fishing rod, and soon a mysterious boy carrying a seahorse was caught.

The boy's appearance surprised everyone, but no one expected that it would be the beginning of a disaster.

Before anyone could figure out what was going on, everyone fainted.

When everyone woke up, it was already night, and everyone had suddenly lost their memories.

Apart from Robin, who kept records on the Ark and retained her original memories, the others didn't even know why they were on the Grand Line or why they were on the Going Merry.

Robin looked at his bewildered companions, his heart filled with worry and confusion.
