Busan is safe? Really?
"Great! We are saved!"
The carriage instantly erupted in excitement; the newly emerging hope thrilled everyone.
However, this joy did not last long.
"Fuck-"
A screeching sound of brakes startled everyone.
The train suddenly slowed down, and the huge inertia caused the people in the carriage to sway and nearly fall.
"what happened?"
"What happened?"
Just then, the train conductor's voice came over the loudspeaker: "Passengers, we are very sorry, but the tracks ahead are blocked by an overturned train, and we cannot continue."
"Please...please disembark and transfer to another train to Busan..."
The carriage fell silent once again.
"What? You want us to get off the bus?"
"Are you kidding me? The outside is teeming with zombies!"
Everyone instinctively looked at Yang Yi, "Senior... Senior."
“I can clear those obstacles,” Yang Yi said to Yin Xianghua and Xu Shuoyu, “but… I can’t drive a train, and I don’t know the train route to Busan. You’d better go with the train conductor.”
“This…” Yin Xianghua and Xu Shuoyu exchanged a glance, both hesitant.
"That's the only way," Yang Yi shrugged. "We can't stay here forever, can we?"
He was the first to get off the train, followed closely by Yin Xianghua and others.
After getting off the bus, everyone discovered that the situation was worse than they had imagined.
On both sides of the railway tracks, several overturned carriages lay scattered, completely blocking the road ahead.
To make matters worse, a number of zombies had appeared around them and were staggering toward them.
"What do we do? Which way do we go?" Chen Ke looked at the zombies around her, her face pale with fright.
"We have no choice but to keep going...we have no choice but to move forward." Yin Xianghua gritted his teeth and said, "Everyone, stick close to me and don't fall behind!"
He protected his wife, Cheng Jing, and walked at the front of the group.
Xu Shuoyu also protected his daughter Xiu'an and followed closely behind.
Yang Yi walked at the back of the group, responsible for clearing away any approaching zombies.
The group walked carefully along the railway tracks.
At this moment, the ground suddenly began to shake.
"Bah..."
A derailed train was hurtling towards them.
"Oh no! Get out of the way!" Xu Shuoyu's expression changed drastically. He was horrified to discover that a derailed train was speeding towards them along the tracks.
"Run!" Yin Xianghua shouted, grabbing Cheng Jing and running.
The others also realized what was happening and ran for their lives.
However, how could their speed possibly match that of a train?
As the train was about to hit them, everyone despaired. Although they saw Yang Yi killing zombies as easily as cutting melons and vegetables, this was a high-speed train!
As they ran in the opposite direction, they discovered that Yang Yi was still slowly walking forward.
Everyone thought he hadn't seen the train and was about to tell him to run with them.
But then, the helmet that Yang Yi had taken off slowly regenerated from bottom to top on his head, and the moment the helmet appeared completely, Yang Yi's figure disappeared from the spot.
Then, with a loud "BOOM!", Yang Yi's body slammed hard into the front of the train.
"Crack...knock..."
A sickening metallic creaking sound rang out.
The train's front end deformed rapidly and was then smashed in two by Yang Yi.
The carriages behind were thrown into pieces by inertia.
Everyone was stunned by what they saw; they could hardly believe their eyes.
"Dad, is this uncle Superman?"
"Definitely is."
Before everyone could breathe a sigh of relief, a series of "click-clack" sounds came from behind.
When everyone turned around, they saw that the train carriage that Yang Yi had rammed had collided with other trains, and the windows of several trains had cracked.
"Oh no!" Yin Xianghua's expression changed, and he shouted loudly.
Sure enough, the next second, the car window shattered, and countless zombies poured out of the car.
"Get out of the way!" Yin Xianghua shouted again, pulling Cheng Jing towards a blind spot behind Yang Yi.
The others also realized what was happening and huddled in a corner with Yin Xianghua. They had figured it out: the outside world was teeming with zombies, and danger lurked everywhere. The safest place was behind their boss.
"Boss, our lives are in your hands. We can never repay your kindness, I'm willing to give myself to you!" Chen Ke shouted at Yang Yi.
Yang Yi's lips twitched. Good heavens, this girl was taking food and money at the same time; the abacus beads were practically bouncing off his face.
Fortunately, he had already sensed the direction of the train conductor by following the breeze, and told everyone to follow him closely.
He then casually tore off a piece of the broken carriage and threw it into the horde of zombies.
With a light push of his foot, before the carriage had even come to a complete stop, he was already behind it. With a kick, the carriage slid forward again.
A large number of zombies ahead were crushed, leaving only blood and zombie fragments in the path the train had passed.
Truly—fought their way out.
"Hey, you guys run in this direction. The new train the conductor is driving is just ahead. You go first, I'll cover you from behind," Yang Yi said, pointing to the newly cleared passage.
Yin Xianghua and the others glanced at Yang Yi with complicated expressions before running towards the train. Only Chen Ke lingered behind, vaguely sensing that Yang Yi might not want to leave.
"Boss, don't you want to go to Busan on the train? Um... can I come with you?" Chen Ke's voice trembled slightly.
Yang Yi certainly didn't want to give up the vast amount of otherworldly energy before him. These zombies were, in his eyes, walking sources of otherworldly energy! How could he possibly miss out?
"Sure, but for your safety, you should stay underground for a while." Yang Yi grinned, revealing a smile that sent chills down Chen Ke's spine.
"Underground?" Before Chen Ke could react, he felt his feet sink into the ground.
"Wow!"
She cried out in surprise as a huge pit, tens of meters deep, appeared before her. Several torches were thoughtfully placed along the pit walls, illuminating the area brightly. This pit was clearly dug on the spot!
Before she could protest, a gentle breeze lifted her up and lightly placed her at the bottom of the pit.
"You stay here for now, I'll dig you out in a bit." After Yang Yi finished speaking, without waiting for Chen Ke's reply, he waved his hand, and the soil and rocks instantly sealed the pit, leaving only a few holes with trapdoors installed, through which a faint light shone.
Chen Ke: "..."
After settling Chen Ke in, Yang Yi made a grasping motion with his right hand, and a dark red longsword several meters long appeared in his hand, its blade gleaming with a dark red light.
Now it's harvest time!
fighting! Cool!

Chapter 21 Farewell and Take-in
"Woo——"
The new train emitted a long whistle, slowly started moving, and headed towards Busan.
Inside the carriage, however, the atmosphere was somewhat somber. The joy of surviving the ordeal was overshadowed by a complex and indescribable emotion.
Yin Xianghua held his wife Cheng Jing tightly, her eyes filled with gratitude and worry.
Xu Shuoyu held his daughter Xiu'an in his arms. The little girl looked curiously at the scenery rushing past the window, not quite understanding what was happening.
"Dad, where is that uncle?" Xiu'an suddenly asked.
Xu Shuoyu was taken aback and looked at Yin Xianghua. A hint of sadness flashed in both of their eyes.
“He…he has more important things to do.” Xu Shuoyu patted his daughter’s head and said softly.
"Will we meet again?"
"Yes, it will, it definitely will." Yin Xianghua's voice was a little hoarse. He looked out the window, as if he could see that figure wearing dark red heavy armor.
The train conductor approached. He had already learned of Yang Yi's actions from the survivors. The weathered old man's eyes were full of admiration: "That gentleman... was truly a hero."
“Yes, he is a true hero,” Xu Shuoyu murmured.
"Should we...do something?" Cheng Jing asked softly.
Cheng Jing remained silent for a moment, then suddenly stood up, walked to the center of the carriage, and said loudly, "Everyone, we survived entirely thanks to that gentleman's help!"
"He's still out there, fighting alone for us and for so many others! We can't help him, but at least we can pray for him and wish him well!"
"I wish him all the best!"
"May he return safely!"
"Hero, we're waiting for you!"
Each blessing and each prayer converged into a warm force, seemingly transcending time and space to reach the figure battling the zombies.

The sudden surge in energy levels in the other world left Yang Yi bewildered, but several guesses began to form in his mind.
One way to gain otherworldly energy is to successfully protect the main characters; the other way is to gain otherworldly energy by receiving genuine gratitude.
It's also possible that both are true; receiving heartfelt gratitude from the main characters can grant access to energy from another world.
