Ash, with his invincible physical body, wants to become a Pokémon Master...

[Ding! Serena: Affection +5]

Seeing that Serena's gloom had vanished, Ash immediately smiled, took her hand, and ran back to the camp together.

Sigh, men from the Kanto region who want it all are terrifying.

After returning to the camp, Ash immediately took Misty's hand again and they continued on their way.

Looking at Serena, whose face was flushed, next to Ash, Misty could roughly guess what had happened, even though she didn't quite understand.

He just smiled knowingly and rested his head on Xiaozhi's shoulder.

————Rock Blockade————

The day after leaving the small island, Ash and his friends arrived at Huangyan Island.

It was quite an achievement for Ash and his friends to successfully check into the Pokémon Center without getting lost.

"amazing!"

Even Miss Joey here is happy for them.

"You are among the first trainers to arrive here among the contestants."

The reason why the circumnavigation of the Whirl Islands is considered a test is because the Pokémon here are completely different from those on the Orange Islands route.

The Pokémon in the Orange Islands are very peaceful and rarely approach humans on their own initiative.

This is why Ash always had to go to great lengths to find Pokémon to battle when he was traveling in the Orange League.

The situation is different on the Whirl Islands. The Pokémon here are much more aggressive and will even attack passing trainers and ships.

Therefore, being able to sail around the archipelago using only one's own Pokémon under such circumstances is something only a trainer with considerable skill could accomplish.

It is a challenging trial.

This was exactly what Xiaozhi wanted, as big shipments kept arriving at his door, making him incredibly happy every day.

Under these circumstances, Xiong Er finally defeated enough Water-type Pokémon and completed its own mission.

[Ding! Congratulations on completing the new epic side quest "The Profound Meaning of Martial Arts!": Please guide your bear apprentice to experience the true essence of martial arts!]

[Mission Requirements: Raise your Kumamon's friendship level to the maximum and defeat 100 Dark or Water-type Pokémon.]

[Rewards: Alliance Coins +5000; Attack +4; Defense +4; Rare Evolution Item: Water Scroll +1]

Although the little guy wasn't entirely satisfied, since Ash always kicked it into the sea during battles.

"Bah, ah!" (I won't forgive you without two jars of honey!)

Ash had no choice but to give the gluttonous creature the honey.

[Ding! Bear Apprentice (Bear Two): Affection +1; Intimacy +1]

After taking out the Water Scroll, Xiao Zhi immediately gave it to Xiong Er.

A flash of white light, and Xiong Er's body suddenly grew larger. In appearance, it was not much different from Xiong Da, except that the headband-like fur hung forward and downward, and the patterns around its head were white.

It's quite different from Xiong Da, but its signature moves are still pretty good and look like they'll be very useful.

Ash immediately dragged Misty along to the public battle arena at the Pokémon Center for a battle.

He wanted to test the evolved Xiong Er's strength immediately, and also give Xiao Xia some battle training.

"This is Xiong Er, who has a 20-game winning streak against you, and now it has evolved into a Martial Arts Bear Master. Xiaoxia, are you confident in facing it?"

"Don't underestimate me, my partners and I work very hard!"

While Ash is grinding monsters, Misty doesn't slack off at all.

She always left Togepi in Serena's care, while she took her own Marill, Milotic, Starmie, Wartortle, and Poliwag.

They threw themselves into the great cause of battle, and during this time they received ample training.

Oh, you asked if we missed one, like that water-type Pokémon that can drown.

Xiaoxia could only pretend it didn't exist. After teaching it to swim for three months and still not getting it to learn, Xiaoxia was completely exasperated with it.

Psyduck usually eats and sleeps, and it's good enough if she doesn't cause any trouble.

Of course, Misty, being the world's most beautiful mermaid, wouldn't give up on it. After this period, Psyduck will face an even fiercer storm.

Psyduck: "Quack, quack, quack?"

Xiaoxia confidently sent out Poliwag in this battle, which is her most comfortable Pokémon.

"Go on stage, my darling."

But to everyone's surprise, the Poliwag that came out of the Poké Ball had a yellow, crown-like thing on its head.

"Isn't this my royal token?"

After winning the Pokémon Sumo Tournament, Ash rarely took it out and kept it in his bag.

Why did it suddenly appear on Xiaoxia's mosquito coil frog's head?

At this moment, Xiaoxia finally remembered that when she released her Pokémon to help pack her luggage, Poliwag seemed to have picked up something.

But she didn't notice at all and put the Poliwag along with that thing into the Poké Ball.

Suddenly, a dazzling light burst forth from the Poliwag's body, and it actually evolved under the influence of the King's Token.

Suddenly, a heavy rain began to fall on the field where Misty and Ash were battling, and a green Poliwag appeared on the battlefield.

"Oh no, how could this happen? I clearly wanted this kid to evolve into a Poliwrath!"

The originally quiet Poliwag seems to have suddenly become lively after evolving into the Poliwag Queen, constantly clapping its hands with a smile.

For some reason, Xiaoxia had a bad feeling, as if she were facing Psyduck.

"quack?"

"Don't come out without my permission!" Xiaoxia immediately angrily recalled Psyduck into its Poké Ball.

"I don't really need Xiaoxia's King's Certificate. I've already used it, but are you still planning to continue using Poliwag King in battles?"

Since it has already evolved and there's no way to undo it, Xiaoxia can only continue using Poliwag in battle.

"Of course, isn't it perfect for the final evolved form to fight the final evolved form?" Xiaoxia retorted stubbornly.

Fortunately, Poliwag only became more lively and didn't actually cause any problems in battles like Psyduck did.

They would still obediently follow Xia's orders, using the bubbles and foam lights quite skillfully.

The moves she uses in the rain are quite powerful, and Xiaoxia has indeed improved a lot.

But in the end, Ash's Urshifu successfully captured him with a Water Stream followed by a Thunder Punch.

"Motor, Xiaoxia, you're still not mature enough."

"hateful!"

At that moment, Serena suddenly ran over excitedly.

"Ash, Misty, I found out that someone in town knows the way to Water Seven!"

Chapter 271 Water City

Sunlight shines on the azure ocean, where a giant dragon is riding the waves, rapidly heading in a certain direction.

These are Ash and his friends, of course.

A few days ago, based on the route Serena had found out, Ash and his friends successfully found the route to the Water Seven, Ottomare.

Although the aunt who was telling Serena gossip seemed suspicious, Ash even noticed that she hadn't properly concealed her official epaulets.

But that doesn't matter!

Anyway, Ash and his friends obediently followed the prescribed route to Scarborough Shoal, and happened to run into a large parade of lanternfish.

They helped the father and son, who were responsible for guiding the lanternfish to migrate to the sea this year, successfully resolve the problem of the collapsed road.

They obtained a map of the surrounding area from them, successfully escaped getting lost, and then bypassed Red Rock Island, the venue for the final competition, by going around the edge of the island.

While visiting Silver Rock Island, Xiaoxia even caught a very lively sun coral there.

This adorable Water-type Pokémon is right into Misty's play area. Ever since she saw Professor Elm's Corsola, she's wanted one.

As Ash and his friends progress through the Whirl Islands, they encounter more and more wild Pokémon along their route, and their strength also increases accordingly.

Ash became addicted to playing it for a while.

The battle was exhilarating!

Furthermore, during their journey, Ash and his friends happened to encounter several Team Rocket groups who were searching for something.

I just took care of them all without a second thought.

Afterwards, Ash packed everything up and gave it to Officer Jenny on a nearby island.

These rocket teams were unlucky, because due to the special sea conditions of the Whirlpool Islands, there were only a few safe routes, and they were all very close to each other.

This means that no matter where they return from, they are very likely to pass through the route that Ash took.

These Team Rocket members seem to have some special connection with Ash, constantly bumping into him and getting caught by him completely.

"Sigh, I feel a little embarrassed that so many people have come to offer their help."
