Is this the world of card dealers? Yada thieves!

According to Paradox, since the [Sin] monsters inherited the effects of the original monsters, Jaden felt that the effect of [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] might have changed to some extent, since the opponent did not take away John's other [Jewel Beast] cards as well.

Although the specific effects are unknown, the basic logic should remain unchanged, which is the ability to send monsters to the graveyard and increase attack power based on the number of monsters sent to the graveyard!

"Yusei! That [Rainbow Dragon] should have an attack power boosting effect, but you chose the wrong target!"

Jaden spoke up, then saw Yusei turn around. He hesitated for a moment before showing a shocked expression: "What? That's terrible!"

"To be able to raise your attack power to 4400 points, you truly live up to the reputation of the legendary duelist, Yusei Fudo. I must admit your strength in Duel Monsters," Paradox said smugly. "However, [Sin] isn't something you can just surpass as easily as you think. I'm going to activate the effect of [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] during your turn!"

"Send all monsters on my field except [Sin God Rainbow Dragon] to the Graveyard, and then [Sin God Rainbow Dragon] gains ATK equal to 1000 times the number of [Sin] monsters sent to the Graveyard by this effect. This effect can be activated during your opponent's turn!"

"Right now, I'm stronger!"

【Sin God - Rainbow Dragon】【ATK4000→5000】

Just as [Scrap Warrior] was about to be hit, the gems on Paradox's [Sin God Rainbow Dragon], which were originally dazzling but had now lost their brilliance and retained only their basic colors, lit up all at once. Although they did not affect the iron fist swung by [Scrap Warrior], they dissolved and shattered [Sin-Electronic Terminator Dragon] on the other side.

After the [Sin-Electronic Terminator Dragon] was shattered, seemingly having extracted its power, the [Sin God-Rainbow Dragon]'s body was enveloped in black lightning, and it opened its blood-red maw to viciously bite the [Scrap Warrior]!

It was thought that after gathering the power of other monsters, "Scrap Warrior" could wipe out the monsters on Paradox's field, but judging from the current situation, it seems that "Scrap Warrior" is at a disadvantage and is about to be destroyed!

Paradox was about to say something more smugly, but just then, he caught Yusei's confident expression.

"Chained with the effect of [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon], I activate the effect of [Rush Warrior] in my hand!" Yusei revealed a card from his hand, a 2-star Warrior-Type monster with only 300 attack power.

However, no matter how weak a monster is, when it connects and concentrates its power together, it can unleash incredible strength, and the [Scrap Warrior] is the best proof of that.

"I can activate this effect only when my [Warrior] Synchro Monster is used in damage calculation against an opponent's monster, by sending [Rush Warrior] from my hand to the Graveyard." Sending [Rush Warrior] to the Graveyard, Yusei clenched his right fist. "[Junk Warrior]'s ATK is only doubled during that damage calculation!"

"What?!"

To Paradox's incredulous gaze, a [Charge Warrior] appeared on the asteroid field. As soon as it appeared, it began to move forward at full speed. When it reached its speed limit, it crashed into the back of the [Scrap Warrior] to provide it with propulsion!

【Scrap Warrior】(Weapon Gloves)【ATK4400→8800】

With an attack power of 8800, the [Scrap Warrior] threw a punch at the biting jaw of the [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon]!

"boom!"

"Cough!!!"

The surging shockwave from the explosion of the [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon], which was blasted apart by a "serious punch," forced Paradox, who was standing on the "Truth," to lower his center of gravity slightly to avoid being blown away and falling to his death. At the same time, he subconsciously cried out in pain due to the high combat damage.

Paradox: 16000→12200LP

足足3800点的战斗伤害，如果不是因为帕拉多克斯现在是在1VS4所以基本分变成了原本的四倍的话，单就这一击就足以将正常状态下满额的4000点基本分一口气打成风中残烛的200点。

Paradox endured the pain, trying to see through the obstructing smoke and dust to reach the star opposite him.

However, through the dissipating smoke, he saw that the [Scrap Warrior] who had just defeated [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] had not returned to the Star Field, but was standing not far in front of him, his right hand equipped with a [Weapon Glove] with sharp knuckles moving.

【Scrap Warrior】(Weapon Gloves)【ATK8800→4400】

"Because when its effect is used as an Equip Card, [Weapon Gloves] has a second effect besides increasing attack power." Yusei's voice pierced through the smoke and reached Paradox's ears, "When a [Scrap Warrior] equipped with [Weapon Gloves] destroys a monster by battle, it inflicts damage to the opponent's Duelist equal to the destroyed monster's attack power!"

As Yusei's voice rang out, the [Scrap Warrior] raised his right hand high and then slashed down vertically, grabbing hard at Paradox's body!

"Ugh!!"

Paradox: 12200→8200LP

"Finally, there will be a direct attack from the [Scrap Servant] and the [Doppelganger Derivative]!"

"Ugh!!"

Paradox: 8200→7800→6300LP

"Wow! It has an effect similar to [Flame Winged Man], that's powerful, Yusei!" Jaden was very excited to see that there was a Synchro Monster in the future with the same effect as [Flame Winged Man]. "It reduced the opponent's Life Points by nearly 10,000 points in one turn, amazing!"

"The power gathered together... Well done." The game also highly praised Yusei's performance.

After completing their attack, the [Scrap Servant] and [Doppelganger Token] returned to Yusei's field one after another. Hearing the praise from Yugi and Jaden, Yusei, who had been on edge the whole time, couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

What? I was actually pretty accurate.

However, Yusei noticed that unlike Yugi and Jaden, who were already happy, Hayato seemed to be looking directly at Paradox through the smoke, with a regretful expression on his face.

Noticing Yusei looking at him, Hayato sighed helplessly: "You were a bit too hasty just now, Yusei. You should have aimed for his head."

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is, you should check the specific situation on his field before attacking." Hayato turned his head. "Didn't that guy say we are legendary duelists who have left their mark on history? I'm afraid he already knew what cards we would use."

"Even the [Charge Warrior] you just used was probably part of his plan. He was deliberately trying to lure you into dealing a lot of damage to him in one turn."

"What!?" Upon hearing Hayato's words, Yusei turned around abruptly and discovered a string of numbers that greatly surprised him—

Paradox: 25700LP

"How...how could this be!"

"That guy's base score actually increased instead of decreased?"

As Yugi and Yusei were puzzled about what had happened, the sharp-eyed Jaden spotted a card that revealed itself as the dust settled: "That card is—"

"John's [Rainbow Life]? Why is it in your hands?!"

"The effect of this card is to convert all damage I take this turn into a trap card that increases my life points. Although it requires discarding a card from my hand, this is a necessary price to pay."

As the smoke cleared, Paradox's face was full of mockery: "I think I've mentioned before that my deck contains the strongest cards from every era."

"This duel won't end so easily."

Chapter 496 Blonde Hair, Victim, and Female Lead in Revealing Clothes

Just now, taking advantage of the smoke and dust from the destruction of [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon], Paradox timely discarded the [Sin - Blue-Eyes White Dragon] that was stuck in his hand and sent it to the graveyard, using it as the cost to activate the face-down card [Rainbow Life].

Paradox may have even incorporated Yusei's psychology into his strategic planning, sensing the anger hidden within him that his cherished card had been taken away. In order to maximize the benefits of [Rainbow Life], he was even capable of feigning screams and luring Yusei to attack multiple times.

As Paradox predicted, Yusei lost his composure due to the loss of Stardust Dragon and recklessly launched a series of attacks without waiting for the smoke enveloping Paradox to dissipate, causing Paradox to recover an additional 1900 base points.

The "no harm even with smoke" principle applies here.

All the monsters had already attacked, and Yusei looked at Paradox's base score, which was higher than the combined attack power of eight Blue-Eyes White Dragons, and was quite annoyed by his lack of composure.

"Face one card down, my turn ends." With the last card in his hand face down, Yusei reluctantly ended his turn.

[Yusei Fudo: 4000 LP, 0 cards in hand]

[Scrap Warrior] (Weapon Gloves) [ATK4400]

[Scrap Servant] [ATK1500]

[Doppelganger Derivative] [ATK400]

Dominoes, Geyser

"I'm sorry, Mr. Hayato. My recklessness has actually increased the opponent's life points." Yusei turned around and said to Hayato with an apologetic look.

Hayato comforted him, saying, "Don't say that. At least you took down his two [Sin] monsters, didn't you? Besides, in Duel Monsters, basic points are infinite as long as they don't reach zero."

After a pause, Hayato looked at Paradox's last remaining card: "The most important thing should be hand resources. Yusei, you've done a great job by breaking Paradox's card-blocking and reducing his hand to only one card."

“It’s Paradox, not Paradox. Don’t pronounce my name with that awkward Japanese accent!” Paradox interrupted.

Then, as if to deliberately slap Hayato in the face, Paradox began his turn.

"During my turn, during my draw phase, I apply the effect of [Sin-World] to add a random [Sin] card from my deck to my hand instead of drawing a card."

Paradox's Duel Disk automatically shuffled his deck, popping a card to the top, which Paradox caught. After glancing at the card he had drawn, Paradox grinned smugly: "Hmph, is it really as you say, Kobayashi Hayato?"

"Because Yusei Fudo just destroyed my two [Sin] monsters and sent them to the Graveyard, this card I just drew this turn just meets the activation conditions!" Paradox inserted the card he had just drawn into the Spell & Trap Zone, "Activating the Normal Spell Card [Sin - Select]!"

"I can activate this effect by banishing two Sin monsters from my Graveyard: Sin-Cyber Ender Dragon and Sin-Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which was discarded by Rainbow Life. I add two Sin cards from my Deck to my hand."

"Then, the Quick-Play Spell Card [Sin-Cross], which ignores the Summoning conditions and Special Summons [Sin God-Rainbow Dragon] from my Graveyard in Attack Position!"

Almost identical to the effect of [Monster Resurrection], but a [Sin] monster-limited version, [Sin Cross] bloomed on Paradox's field. A crack appeared in the starry [Sin World], revealing the four eyes of [Sin God Rainbow Dragon], which spied on Yusei and the others.

As the rift fully opened, the [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon], which had been destroyed by the [Scrap Warrior]'s "Serious Punch" that pushed its limits, returned to Paradox's field.

【Sin God - Rainbow Dragon】【ATK4000】

"He's summoned [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] again. John's cards really seem to have a lot of troubles," Jaden remarked. There was a time when John was possessed by [Yubel], and at that time, [Rainbow Dragon] also showed its reversed dark form, [Rainbow Dark Dragon]. And now there's [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon]. It's like John's [Rainbow Dragon] is particularly suited to turning evil.

The game glanced at the [Scrap Warrior] on the field. Although the doubled attack power from the [Charge Warrior] effect had disappeared, the attack power boost from the [Weapon Gloves] and the [Scrap Warrior]'s own effects remained.

"Even if it's [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] with 4000 attack power, without [Sin] monsters to send to the graveyard to use its effect, [Scrap Warrior] has a higher attack power."

Paradox chuckled coldly upon hearing this: "That is indeed true, but I never said that I would destroy the [Scrap Warrior] through combat."

"First, I Normal Summon 'Sin-Paradox Gear' in Attack Position, then I activate the effect of 'Sin-Paradox Gear'. Because of the Field Spell Card 'Sin-World', I can Tribute 'Sin-Paradox Gear' and Special Summon 'Sin-Parallel Gear' from my Deck. Then I add one 'Sin' monster from my Deck to my hand."

With an attack and defense stat of 0, clearly belonging to a pro, the [Sin-Contradictory Gear], with a humanoid structure and three mechanical arms, began to spin wildly as soon as it appeared on Paradox's field, disrupting and distorting the spacetime within the [Sin-World] and entangling it.

After the rotation speed slows down, the [Sin-Contradictory Gear] is replaced by the [Sin-Parallel Gear], which is much larger.

"A Tuner monster!?" Seeing that Paradox had also summoned a Tuner monster, and considering that he also had another Level 10 non-Tuner monster on his field, [Sin God Rainbow Dragon], Yusei was filled with doubt and surprise. "Is he going to summon a Level 12 Synchro Monster?!"

However, Paradox glanced at the [Sin-Parallel Gear] that had appeared on his field with considerable disgust.

“No, I will not use Synchro. I don’t think I will use this method of summoning that destroys the world,” Paradox said through gritted teeth. “It’s not because I’m incapable of wielding a weapon, but because of my disgust for weapons stained with sin and blood. I will not use Synchro.”

"I don't need Synchro Summoning to end the dirty history of Duel Monsters, I can do it all with these [Sin] Monsters!"

As Paradox spoke, he raised his hand and pointed to the [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] on his field.

"【Sin God - Rainbow Dragon】inherits all the effects of 【Ultimate Jewel God - Rainbow Dragon】. In addition to the effect of increasing attack power, 【Rainbow Dragon】 also has a second effect that is inherited by 【Sin God - Rainbow Dragon】."

"I banish the only [Sin-Contradictory Gear] from my graveyard, and return all cards on both players' fields to their respective decks!"

"To return everything to its original state—that is my resolve to save the world!!"

The [Sin God - Rainbow Dragon] had its four dark yellow eyes closed, and its body transformed into a ball of jet-black lightning, coiling around the seven differently colored gems that remained on its body. The phantom of the [Sin - Paradox Gear] in the Paradox Cemetery flew into the black lightning, and then, lightning erupted!
