Is this the world of card dealers? Yada thieves!

"Now, show me just how far your [Hero] can go, Jaden Yuki."

"Oh! Then I won't hold back, Mr. Kaiba!" Jaden said confidently, even though his monsters on the field had been completely destroyed. Beside Jaden, [Yubel] appeared, visible to Hayato, Yugi, and Yusei, in addition to Kaiba.

"What fierce fighting spirit! Even among those I know, there are probably no more than five people with this level of fighting will. Has he been driven to the brink, Judai?"

Currently, Jaden only has two face-down cards with unclear meanings on the field. The cards in his hand are a previously recycled [E·Hero Skywalker] and [Miracle Fusion]. Furthermore, the negative effect of [Offering to the Dead] has prevented him from replenishing his hand for the next turn.

"Ah, after all, it's Mr. Kaiba. At the beginning, I was thinking of showing off my growth, but I almost got OTKed in one go." Jaden touched his nose embarrassedly. "However, from now on, it's my, no, our stage."

"Honestly, you can't get serious unless your basic score is practically nonexistent." Yubel looked at Jaden with a helpless expression. "But even so, I still love you very much."

"Use my power as you please, Judai. If it's you, then anything is fine."

Yubel's voice faded as her figure disappeared, and Jaden revealed a confident smile: "Our combination is invincible."

Kaiba looked at Jaden's "talking to himself" and snorted: "Boring, is it that baseless 'card spirit' theory again? Hmph, there's no scientific basis for it."

Unbeknownst to the seahorse, after hearing his self-talk, a Blue-Eyes White Dragon card in his graveyard seemed to let out a very faint, helpless sigh.

"Although the effect of [Abyssal White Dragon] destroyed all the monsters on my field, the legacy of [Hero] will be inherited." Jaden raised his Duel Disk, and his deck, equipped with an automatic search device, began to shuffle. "If [E. Hero: Shadow Mist Lady] is sent to the Graveyard, I will add one [Hero] monster other than [E. Hero: Shadow Mist Lady] from my deck to my hand."

"What I'm adding to my hand is [E·hero Neo-Universe].

Jaden briefly showed off the 7-star, 2500-attack, standard protagonist ace stats [E·Hero Neos] that he added to his hand: "Then there's my backrow face-down card, [Fusion Preparation]. This card can be used to reveal a Fusion Monster, then add one of the Fusion Materials listed on that Fusion Monster from my Deck to my hand, and recycle one [Fusion] Spell Card from my Graveyard."

"The Fusion Monster I'm showing is this one, [E·Hero Neos Sage]. Then I'll add one of the Fusion Materials for [E·Hero Neos Sage], [Yubel], from my Deck to my hand, and then recycle the [Fusion] Spell Card from my Graveyard."

Seeing Jaden retrieve [Fusion] again, Kaiba knew that he was about to use [Fusion] to summon again. If you count carefully, this was actually Jaden's third fusion in this duel. After all, although [M·Hero Acid] was a fusion monster, strictly speaking, it could only be considered a special summon.

“【E·Hero Neosage】, then one of the materials, 【Yubel】, and 【E·Hero Neosage】 added to my hand, these are the materials I need.” Kaiba glanced at the monsters in defense position on his back row and the face-down cards in his back row, and gave a cold smile.

The monster he covered was one of the few low-attack, low-defense monsters in his deck, called "Abyss Assassin," with only 200 attack and 500 defense. However, it was a flip monster with the effect of "destroy one monster on your opponent's field when flipped."

Kaiba explained that the reason he included this card in his deck was purely due to his top-level understanding of Duel Monsters, and it had nothing to do with the fact that Yugi almost defeated him with a "Man-Eating Bug" card given to him by Hayato.

Next, Jaden will likely perform a Fusion Summon. Once the summoned monster attacks and flips "Abyss Assassin," its effect will trigger, targeting and destroying a monster. Fusion Summoned, one-hit kill—what more can be said?

In short, Haima is quite looking forward to the inevitable "freebie" scene that will follow.

As for the subtle thought in his mind, "Is this tactic the kind of 'heavy pit' that Kobayashi Hayato mentioned?", it only appeared for a moment before Kaiba put it out of his mind.

Chapter 507: Please, duelists, do not enter the arena to play cards; the spirit behind you is also...

Under Kaiba's watchful eye, Jaden played the Fusion Spell Card, which he hadn't even had a chance to warm up yet.

"I activate the Spell Card [Fusion], using [Yubel] and [E·Hero Neos] as Fusion Materials from my hand!"

"Two souls whose causes and effects are intertwined..."

The tenth generation made a fist with his left hand and stretched it into the air.

"A deep love that I could never sever since my past life..."

Beside Jaden, Yubel opened his right palm and stretched it over his head in sync with Jaden's movement.

"The Darkness of the Overlord!" "The Light of Sorrow!"

"We'll meet here!" X2

Yubel and Jaden turned to look at each other, smiling. Then, Yubel lowered his raised hand and raised his other arm. Jaden opened his palm and enveloped Yubel's clenched fist.

"You are in me," "I am in you."

"The ultimate fusion of love!" x2

"【E·hero New Universe Sage】!!!"

As the two with identical heterochromatic eyes shouted their names in unison, the white-bodied [E·hero New Universe Sage], clad in ferocious black armor resembling a demon, made a grand entrance!

[3000/2500]

"A monster combining the powers of [E·Hero Neosage] and [Yubel]? What a powerful aura!" Yusei exclaimed in surprise as he looked at [E·Hero Neosage]. "And despite wearing demonic armor, it gives off a feeling of gentle protective power?"

After summoning [E·hero Neosage], Jaden's heterochromatic eyes returned to their original color. Hearing Yusei's words from the sidelines, Jaden couldn't help but feel a little proud: "[E·hero Neosage] is the ultimate fusion of my power and [Yubel's] power."

"The specific power will be revealed in the upcoming battle." As he spoke, Jaden played another card from his hand. "I haven't made a normal summon this turn. I summon [E·hero Skyman] in attack position, and then activate his effect to add a [Hero] monster from my deck to my hand."

"I choose [E·hero Bubble Man]".

After adding a card to his hand, Jaden pointed to Kaiba's face-down card in the back row: "Entering my Battle Phase, I'll first use [E-Hero Sky Warrior] to attack the face-down monster on Kaiba's field!"

"Blinger Fan!"

After receiving the attack command, the Sky Hero [E·hero Skyman] activated the aircraft behind him, propelling him into the air, where he looked down and locked onto the unidentified face-down on Kaiba Field.

As the propellers on the aircraft behind [E·hero Sky Warrior] increased their rotation speed, they actually created two clockwise rotating tornado columns, which swept towards the monsters indicated on the inside of [E·hero Sky Warrior]'s control!

"Ugh!"

The moment the attack of [E·hero Sky Warrior] arrived, Jaden heard the covered monster being destroyed instantly without any resistance. It couldn't even hold onto its weapon and cried out as it was destroyed. Jaden and the others were able to see the true nature of that card.

[Assassin of the Abyss] [3☆/Dark]

[Demon Race/Reversal/Effect]

[200/500]

"Huh? A monster with 200 attack power! Did I miss a zero?" Hayato looked at the monster's attack and defense power panel that was displayed immediately with great surprise. He really didn't expect that Kaiba would put such a "trash monster" in his deck.

However, when he saw that it was the [Assassin of the Abyss], he was taken aback and understood Kaiba's tactics.

"Yuki Jaden, you used [E·Hero Sky Warrior] to attack my face-down monster, thinking that after defeating [Abyss Assassin], you could use [E·Hero Neo Sage] with 3000 attack power to attack me directly, right?"

The seahorse watched its monster being destroyed, but it laughed. "As punishment for being my enemy, I will extinguish your hope!"

"When I flip [Assassin of the Abyss], I can choose one of your monsters to destroy. Of course, I'll choose [E·Hero Neosage], which you haven't attacked yet!"

As the seahorse spoke, it swung its hand down, and the weapon of the Abyss Assassin, which had been swept away by the attack of the E·hero Sky Warrior—a dagger wrapped in an eerie blue light—flew out from the corner and pierced the back of the E·hero Neocosm Sage!

"Ugh!"

[E·hero New Universe Sage] was stabbed in the back and immediately collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely. The blood flowed down his forward-pointing finger and onto the yellowish-brown paving stones of the central square, as if saying something like "Don't stop."

Kaiba was somewhat disappointed to see that Jaden offered no resistance to the effects of his [Abyss Assassin], and simply watched as [E·hero Neo Sage] was destroyed.

"Hmph, the last trump card that I summoned with great difficulty was easily destroyed by me without even being used. As expected, he is just a third-rate duelist."

Looking at [E·hero Sky Warrior] back on the field, Kaiba snorted and said, "If this is all you're capable of, then you can start preparing for your defeat next turn, Jaden Yuki."

"Anyway, your trump card has already been destroyed, so you're out of options now."

Unexpectedly, upon hearing Kaiba's words, Jaden responded with a fiercely combative smile: "So reiwa toka na. Mr. Kaiba, when did you get the misconception that my [E·hero Neosage] was destroyed before it even activated?"

"What?!"

Jaden takes the card 【E-Hero Neosage】 from the Duel Disk: "【E-Hero Neosage】has the ability to inflict damage to the opponent equal to the ATK of the monster it battles with during battle, and its other effect can only be activated if it is destroyed by battle or leaves the field due to an opponent's card effect!"

"If [E·hero Neo-Sage] is a fusion of me, with [E·hero Neo-Sage] as the main body, and [Yubel], then what will appear next is a form with [Yubel] as the main body!"

Jaden's gaze shifted to [Yubel] beside him: "Let's go!"

“I’ve been ready for a long time.” [Yubel] smiled charmingly and snapped her fingers.

The armor on [E·hero Neocosm Sage], which was destroyed by [Abyss Assassin], turned into black mist and spread, enveloping him and making him disappear. What reappeared from the black mist was another monster with black as its main color!

Special Summon! [Sage Neocosmos]!

【Sage Neocosmos】【10☆/Light】

[Mage Race/Fusion/Effect]

[3000/3000]

"Don't underestimate me, Mr. Kaiba!" Jaden chuckled. "Now, there are no monsters standing in your way. I'll say the same to you: prepare for my direct attack!"

"【Sage Neos】Directly attack the opponent's duelist," Judai had barely finished speaking when 【Yubel】 relayed the attack command for him, "Ultimate Nova!"

Although it was Yubel, not Jaden, who gave the order, because Yubel was one of the fusion materials for [Sage Neos], [Sage Neos] actually obeyed Yubel's attack command and acted accordingly.

With its wide bat wings spread, the Sage Neos took flight, and the agile "magician" struck a punching pose, transforming into a phantom as it attacked the Seahorse, who only had one face-down card in the back row!

"Don't attack for me without my permission, Yubel, even though I was going to attack anyway," Jaden complained with a hint of dissatisfaction. "Also, what a corny move name, not cool at all."

“I thought it was pretty good.” Yubel shrugged and said with a smile, “Anyway, Judai, you can only come up with weird names like ‘Spiral Flash Rondo Roaring Three Styles’.”

As the young couple (?) were interacting, Kaiba looked at the attacking [Sage Neos] and revealed a ferocious smile.

“That’s exactly how it should be. That’s how it should be. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be worthy of my Blue Eyes.”

As he spoke, Kaiba pressed the button and revealed the last card in his back row.

"Rejoice, Jaden Yuki! Your efforts have moved me. As a reward, I grant you the right to face the pinnacle of Duel Monsters once again! In return, I will show you the true Ultimate Fusion!"

"As [Sage Neos] declares an attack, I will activate my backrow face-down Trap Card [Dead Soul Fusion] to banish three [Blue-Eyes White Dragons] from my Graveyard, face-down, as Fusion Material!"

"Crush everything with absolute light! Resilient! Invincible!! Strongest!!!"

"Blue-Ace-Arutimet-Doragon!!"

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon [12☆/Light]

[Dragon/Fusion]

[4500/3800]

Just as [Sage Neos] was about to strike Kaiba, three [Blue-Eyes] spirits from Kaiba's graveyard were banished from the game, thus awakening the White Dragon, the pinnacle of Duel Monsters.

As a well-known blank fusion monster, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon has no effect, but at this moment, with its attack power of up to 4500 points, it has become an insurmountable wall on Jaden's road to defeating Kaiba.

"Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon has an ATK of 4500. No ordinary Duel Monster could possibly surpass its ATK, even if they fought with all their might. At the same time, True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in my Graveyard can now use its second effect," Kaiba said arrogantly. "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon on my field will be empowered by its power, and will not be affected by any of my opponent's effects!"

When a monster with 4500 attack power, 3800 defense power, and virtually no weaknesses in its base stats gains all resistances—it cannot be targeted or affected by effects—it can only be described in two words.

Invincible.

And now, Kaiba's long-absent Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon has become such an invincible existence.

"In Duel Monsters, the appearance of a monster can trigger a battle rewind rule, and your [Sage Neos] can cancel this attack. However, that only temporarily postpones the outcome of defeat."

Kaiba glanced at the "Ultimate Burst" card in his hand. This card is a magic card exclusive to "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". It can grant "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" a three-hit combo effect like "True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" without destroying it. At the same time, the opponent's ability to chain attacks and activate effects of "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" will also be stripped.

Jaden's [E·hero Skywalker] and [Sage Neos] are both in attack position. In the next turn, [Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] will deliver the final blow that will wipe out Jaden's almost everything!
