Is this the world of card dealers? Yada thieves!

Although Hayato's tone was so irritating and infuriating, Blue God couldn't care less about him at this moment. Instead, he was focused on the attacking [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova].

The outcome of the battle between the Dark Cube God - Crimson Nova, whose attack power has been reduced to 0, and the Summoned Beast - Merkaba is completely predictable; the former will be destroyed and perish.

Although the Spell Card "Cube World Spell" on Blue God's back field has the effect of reducing the battle damage dealt to you by "Cube World" monsters to 0, the problem is that this effect is only useful in normal duels. In Dark Dimensional Realm duels, you will not take battle damage. When "Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova" is destroyed, Blue God will take 3000 points of damage based on its original ATK.

However, Blue God's base score is only 2000 points at this moment. The moment he takes 3000 points of damage, he will lose because his base score will drop to zero!

How could this be! In the end, I'm going to be defeated by such insidious methods again? I've already witnessed the limits of humanity and given up on being human. Before giving up, I couldn't win duels, and now that I've given up, I still can't win duels. Doesn't that mean I gave up on being human for nothing?!

"No to that! I don't want to lose, I don't want to lose again!" With that thought, Blue God made up his mind, grabbed a card from his hand and played it, "My great mission is not yet complete, my great mind cannot disappear from this dimension! Rather than let my fundamental score go to zero, you will take my place and die, 'God'!"

"Quick-Play Spell Card, [Mysterious Chinese Pot] activated!"

"What?!"

Hayato was also taken aback when he heard this. He saw a large pot suddenly appear on the Blue God Field, and the Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova, who was about to fight [Summoned Beast - Merkaba], along with the [Disruption Yellow] on its head, was poured into it and stir-fried over a fierce fire.

"I will definitely come back!"

After leaving behind this last message, [Disruption Yellow] was kicked out of the pot and rolled back to Hayato's grave, while Blue God's base score also rebounded after the food in the pot was cooked.

[Blue God: 2000→7400LP]

"It's actually the [mysterious Chinese wok]!?"

"What, do you think this card is your patent?" Although the blue god's monstrous appearance didn't show any change in skin color, Hayato felt that his complexion seemed to have improved after he guzzled in 5400 life points. "I told you, didn't I? With the power of [Quantum Cube], I can read other people's memories and add them to my deck. Your [Mysterious Chinese Pot] is no exception."

"It is utterly inappropriate to need to use the opponent's cards to continue the battle, but I am willing to give up everything for the ultimate salvation—dignity, honor, even my qualifications as a human being. My only goal is to achieve victory and then deliver salvation, to bring about the great cause of 'dimensional ascension' for all mankind!"

"The effect of the Quick-Play Spell Card 'Mysterious Chinese Pot' released my 'Dark Square World God - Crimson Nova' on the field, restoring my Life Points to the amount of its ATK, which is 5400. Because it was used in conjunction with your 'Co-op', the ATK of 'Dark Square World God - Crimson Nova' hadn't been affected by your disgusting weak monster at that time."

"Likewise, your monster isn't much better." Hayato glanced at Blue God's base score, feeling a little regretful that he hadn't been able to defeat him so easily, but not quite disappointed.

"This is a beautiful form from a higher dimension that you cannot appreciate, but you will soon be able to, after I defeat you and send you to a lower dimension, Kobayashi Hayato!" Blue God waved his hand and commanded, "Even if I release one [Dark Cube Kaisen - Crimson Nova], my battle phase is not over yet. There is still another [Dark Cube Kaisen - Crimson Nova] on my field that has not yet attacked!"

"Let's continue the battle we didn't finish earlier! [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova], attack [Summoned Beast - Merkaba], Despair Dimensional Slash!"

The last remaining entity on the Blue God's field, [Dark Side World God - Crimson Nova], swung its tentacles at Hayato's [Summoned Beast - Merkaba]. This time, even Hayato couldn't stop the Blue God's attack and could only watch helplessly as the former's blade pierced through the latter.

Then, the damage fell on Hayato.

[Hayato: 7000→4500LP]

"Hahaha, finally, you've been hurt for the first time since this duel began, Kobayashi Hayato!" Even though it only cost Hayato 2500 life points, Blue God seemed unusually excited. "Can you feel my pain? Can you feel my rage? Cry out in pain for this furious blow!"

However, all Blue God saw was Hayato casually brushing off the dust that had splashed onto him when [Summon - Merkaba] was destroyed, with no sign of pain on his face.

"Is this the kind of 'painful attack' you're talking about, which doesn't even qualify as a massage? It's such a waste of my 20,000 yen pants." Hayato looked regretfully at the hole in his pants, even though he rarely wore his school uniform during the holidays.

As a public high school, Domino City High School doesn't charge as much as some private high schools in terms of fees, but the school uniform still costs as much as 40,000 yen a set, so it's not wrong for Hayato to say that his pants are worth 20,000 yen.

"Tch, you think a single piece of clothing costs 20,000? Have you ever considered that people in other countries can't even guarantee food?" Ayane, who had never been to school and didn't even have an elementary school diploma—and who only entered Domino High School by using the power of the [Quantum Cube]—didn't know that Hayato wasn't just showing off. She said angrily, "It's because of people like you that the world is so unfair!"

"I will achieve salvation for all mankind, through my rules, through 'dimensional ascension'!" With a wave of his hand, the Blue God commanded again, "This effect can only be activated when [Dark Side World God - Crimson Nova] destroys a monster with its attack. During this Battle Phase, this card can only attack once more!"

"Destroy the last monster that Hayato Kobayashi has left, [Dark Cube Kaiju - Crimson Nova]. One more time, Despair Dimensional Slash!"

The [Shadowy Midrash], which once gave Jonouchi a lot of trouble, had a fairly strong effect of limiting the number of special summons and resistance to being destroyed by effects. However, apart from these, she was just a 5-star Fusion Monster with a defense of only 800 points. She was completely unable to withstand the attack of [Dark Square Kaiju - Crimson Nova] and was destroyed.

However, because it was Special Summoned by Hayato in Defense Position, Hayato did not suffer any more battle damage and lose any more Life Points due to the destruction of [Shaddoll Midrash]. Hayato, while picking up the card from the Duel Disk, said, "Since [Shaddoll Midrash] has been sent to the Graveyard, I can activate her effect to add one [Shaddoll] Spell/Trap Card from my Graveyard to my hand."

"I will reclaim the [contact with the false body of God]."

[Hayato: 4500LP, hand card 6→7]

"Damn it, you still have 4500 life points left, and you still have so many cards in your hand." Blue God looked at Hayato, wanting to pursue him, but he had no monsters left to use. He could only reluctantly set down the two remaining meaningless trap cards in his hand. "My battle phase is over. You got lucky and escaped with your life, Hayato Kobayashi."

"However, don't think that's the end of it. During my Main Phase Two, I set two cards face down, then end my turn and activate the effect of [Dark Side World God - Crimson Nova], causing both players to take 3000 effect damage!"

[Blue God: 7400→4400LP, 0 cards in hand]

[Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] [ATK3000]

[Fangjieye] [Fangjiefa] [Gaika] X2

[Hayato: 4500→1500LP]

After using the indiscriminate effect of [Dark Side Kaishin - Crimson Nova] to reduce both players' life points, Blue God couldn't help but grin as he watched Hayato's life points finally drop to 1500: "Hahahaha, that's how it is, Hayato Kobayashi, do you see your life points? In my next turn, even if I do nothing but end my turn, I can use the effect of [Dark Side Kaishin - Crimson Nova] to end your life!"

"You only have one last round left to cling to life, and your life points are already as fragile as a candle in the wind!"

Hayato, upon hearing Ayaka's words, couldn't help but rub his forehead: "The way you put it, I don't feel any sense of accomplishment at all. If I win, wouldn't it be thanks to you for constantly setting up goals?"

"Hmph, do you really think you can summon a monster strong enough to defeat [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] and then defeat me in this one turn?"

It's clear that Blue God has great confidence in his "god," saying, "It has powerful resistance to effects activated by monsters with an original attack power of less than 3000!"

"The problem is, I didn't say I wanted to use the monster's effect either," Hayato shrugged, drawing a card. "My turn, draw."

“Unlike you, Blue God, my deck contains cards that prove the bond between my comrades and me. Let me show you a card that symbolizes friendship.” Hayato played the card he had drawn and pointed at Blue God’s [Dark Square Kaishin - Crimson Nova] on the field. “Activate the Spell Card, [Heart Change]!”

Chapter 981 Dark Realm Evil God - Crimson Nova: Three Gods in One... What a long name!

"Magic card, [Heart Change]!"

"That's what kind of 'proof of friendship' is that?!" Blue God couldn't help but complain when he heard about the card Hayato was going to use.

You can't blame him. After all, there's no such thing as "proof of friendship" in the world. It's more like a symbol of NTR than a symbol of friendship.

After all, compared to the [Enemy Manipulator] that Ayane used before, which was obtained by reading Seto Kaiba's memories, the effect of [Heart Change] is purer and more powerful.

“I will activate this effect on one of my opponent’s monsters and gain control of that monster until the end of the turn.” Hayato said, inserting [Heart Change] into the Spell Trap Zone and pointing to the only monster on Blue God’s field—[Dark Side World God - Crimson Nova], “And you only have one monster on your field that can be the target of [Heart Change].”

"Although it's ugly, it's actually quite handsome since it's about to come to my side. [Dark Cube God - Crimson Nova] is a truly powerful monster, but it's mine now!"

As Hayato finished speaking, a pink brainwashing ray shot out from the [Heart Change] he had activated in the back field, striking the [Dark Square Kaiju - Crimson Nova] that had just caused Hayato considerable damage. Pink hearts then appeared in the eyes that had previously looked sinister, eager to move towards Hayato's field.

Once this only monster is taken away, the advantage that Blue God has worked so hard to build will vanish. His back row has no cards that can protect him from the powerful attack of [Dark Side God of War - Crimson Nova].

However, there are cards that can prevent [Dark Side God - Crimson Nova] from being taken away.

"Using [Mind Change]? Hmph, I knew you'd use that dirty card." Blue God's face-down card in the back row opened with a wave of his hand. "I open my face-down card, the Continuous Trap Card [Tyrant's Intimidation]!"

Hayato ignored the face-down card that Ayami had opened, and instead looked at Ayami and said, "Filthy? Then what about that [Enemy Manipulator] card you just played? You're allowed to be powerful against other people's monsters but others aren't allowed to be powerful against yours, huh? What a hypocrite."

"Hmph, that's something only someone like you would say, Hayato Kobayashi. I'm different from you. [Enemy Manipulator] requires me to release a monster in exchange for control of the monsters on your field, while your [Heart Change] takes away my monsters unconditionally without giving anything in return!"

Hearing Ayaka's answer, Hayato shook his head: "So what? You say 'dimensional ascent' can save all of humanity, allowing them to escape this world and go to a new world where no sacrifice is needed, but you yourself are still sacrificing your own monsters to achieve your goal..."

Blue God was speechless and unable to answer Hayato's question. Ignoring Hayato, he took the card "Dark Side World God - Crimson Nova" off the Duel Disk and said, "[Tyrant's Intimidation] requires the release of one monster on my field to activate. As long as [Tyrant's Intimidation] is on my field, all face-up monsters on the field that originally belonged to me will not be affected by the effects of trap cards other than this card."

"And because [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] was freed by [Tyrant's Intimidation], it will be sent to the graveyard, making it impossible for your [Heart Transformation] to take control of it!"

During their first duel, Ayami was complaining about Hayato's tendency to easily unleash monsters, believing it to be one of humanity's inherent flaws that led to the world's current state of affairs. Yet, Ayami effortlessly unleashed his own monster at this moment.

As Blue God released his last monster on the field, [Dark Side Kaiju - Crimson Nova], Hayato glanced at Blue God's remaining Life Points, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Although you've given your monsters resistance to traps, you've also sent them to the Graveyard. Releasing monsters to protect them, you and your actions are laughable to me."

"Hmph, this is merely a necessary sacrifice for me to defeat you. In the end, [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] is truly my 'god,' and it's only right that it sacrifices its power to enter the graveyard." The Blue God glanced at Hayato, sneering and revealing a mouthful of sharp teeth. "Besides, I've already realized that its power can still grow stronger!"

"Thanks to your earlier reminder, I'm reminded of the power of the 'Three Egyptian Gods,' which seems to be something you all believe has the potential to fuse into an even stronger form, right?"

"Although the mysterious light obscures the appearance of the merged form, it's enough to know that such a possibility exists. Don't think you're the only one who can use the power of [Fusion]!"

With a wave of his hand, Blue God revealed another card on his back row, grinning maliciously as he said, "Although you sent my three-body [Dark Square World God - Crimson Nova] to the Graveyard one after another through various means, I still have a card that can be fused in the Graveyard, and that's this card!"

"Trap Card [Dead Soul Fusion] activated! Banish the three [Dark Square God of War - Crimson Nova] from my Graveyard face-down as Fusion Material, and then the power of the three [Dark Square God of War] will be combined into one. How can you win against this ultimate 'god' without three 'Egyptian Gods' in your hand!?"

"I'm going to send you crashing down into the dark dimension!"

As the Blue God raised his hand and pointed to the sky, holes opened up on the ground beside him, and the [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] in the Three-Body Blue God's tomb appeared one after another. Their bodies dissipated into small golden cubes and gathered together, transforming into a larger, more deformed and twisted form!

"The gathered evil consciousness will lead the world into despair without light. Now descend from the darkness!"

"【Dark Realm Evil God - Crimson Nova: Trinity】!"

[Dark Realm Evil God - Crimson Nova: Triune God] [10☆/Dark]

[Demon Race/Fusion/Effect]

[4500/3000]

The already ugly body of the [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] grew and extended, as if all the tentacles of the three [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] had been spliced onto one body. At the same time, the number of eyeballs on their bodies also increased significantly. Although not to the extent of the [Thousand-Eyed Sacrifice Demon], there were still more than ten of them, which made people's skin crawl.

As this monster appeared, Hayato noticed that the already expanding Quantum Cube behind Aogami was growing at an even faster rate, almost doubling in size in the blink of an eye!

"Hahahaha, because of the birth of this ultimate evil god, even the dark side of the dimension is cheering and anticipating the arrival of humanity!" Blue God spread his arms and said excitedly, "It will be soon. You and this entire world will be swallowed by the [Quantum Cube] and sent to that dark world without light, filled with despair!"

"Offer your life as a sacrifice to the descent of the evil god, Hayato Kobayashi!"

Blue God looked at Hayato expectantly, hoping to see fear or terror on Hayato's face. Those emotions that were considered unnecessary and needed to be discarded in the original "dimensional ascent" had become excellent nourishment for Blue God, who had fallen into the dark side of the dimension due to negative emotions.

However, all he saw on Hayato's face was disdain.

"The ultimate evil god, is that all?" Hayato looked at [Dark Cube Evil God - Crimson Nova - Trinity] with disdain, and curled his lip. "Honestly, you're probably the weakest evil god I've ever seen. Even without mentioning 'God of Orichalcos' and 'Great Dark Evil God,' the oppressive aura of [Serpent God - Yi] that Dartz used in the duel was stronger than your monster."

"This isn't a monster, it's a god!" Blue God emphasized. "【Dark Cube Evil God - Crimson Nova - Trinity】possesses powerful resistance, meaning it cannot be targeted by the opponent's effects or destroyed by them. Under 【Tyrant's Intimidation】, it gains the ability to ignore the effects of any trap cards!"

"It's just a combination of high resistance and immunity to being tricked, I've seen enough of that already." Hayato waved his hand dismissively. "And then what? Is that all your trump card has? The same attack power as a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon? This isn't a combination of three gods, it's clearly a combination of three Blue-Eyes White Dragons."

"Hey, Hayato Kobayashi, don't think I didn't hear you!" Kaiba's voice came from a loudspeaker in the distance. "What kind of guy is that? He dares to compare himself to my Blue-Eyes?"

"Don't waste time, hurry up and finish him off, Hayato!" Keihei's voice came through the loudspeaker. From his tone, it was clear that Keihei was quite nervous because the expansion speed of the [Quantum Cube] had increased. "If we can't finish that guy off this round, the Kaiba Dome will be destroyed!"

"Hmph, that's impossible. [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova - Trinity] is the strongest evil god!" Blue God looked at Hayato and provoked him. "In addition to inheriting the effect of [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] which can add attacks after destroying monsters, [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova - Trinity] also has the powerful effect of reducing your Life Points to half when declaring an attack."

"Your next round will be your death day!"

Although he arrogantly provoked Hayato, Ayaka cleverly didn't reveal the full effects of [Dark Cube Kaijin - Crimson Nova], deliberately concealing its final power.

He wanted to make Hayato Kobayashi subconsciously believe, based on his preconceived notions, that [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova - Trinity] also inherited the ability of [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova] to deal effect damage at the end of the turn, forcing Hayato to use every means to reduce his own life points. However, the final effect of [Dark Cube World God - Crimson Nova - Trinity] is actually that when the Blue God receives effect damage, it returns the same amount of damage to the opponent.

The local duelists are so rude, they all love playing with effect damage, don't they? Well then, don't blame me for playing dirty tricks!

The [Dark Cube World Evil God - Crimson Nova - Trinity], born from the needs of the Blue God, has the ability to return damage of the same effect. In this way, once Kobayashi Hayato uses effect damage to reduce the Blue God's base score, Hayato, whose base score is lower than the Blue God's, will have his base score cleared before the Blue God due to his own attack!

With such immense power, Blue God felt invincible at this moment!

Hearing Keipei's urging, Hayato waved helplessly so that Keipei could see him. He looked at Aogami and said, "It's a pity. I was planning to hold back for a while longer to see how well you could perform, but since Keipei is urging me, I have no choice but to finish you off this round."

"I heard you! So, Hayato-kun, you've been deliberately calling me by the wrong name all this time!"

Ignoring Keipai's voice coming from the loudspeaker, Hayato glanced at his hand. He had a full seven cards, more than enough. Although there were two [Disruption] cards among them, they were just there to fill the gaps.

"Continuous Spell Card, [Purgatory's Dream] activated. As long as this card is on my field, all [Inferno Machine] monsters on my field whose original Level was 2 or higher become Level 1, and the battle damage they inflict on my opponent is halved." After activating a card, Hayato took it out of the Spell & Trap Zone and sent it to the Graveyard. "But I'm going to use its second effect."

"Send my face-up 'Purgatory Dream' to the Graveyard, and send the Fusion Material Monsters specified by the 'Inferno' Fusion Monster from my hand or field to the Graveyard. Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster from my Fusion Deck. If a monster Special Summoned from the Fusion Deck exists only on my opponent's field, up to six monsters from my Deck can be used as Fusion Material!"
