Can Someone Please Explain This Situation

The renovation of the separate building, which seems to be my husband's redemption, ended in about 3 days because the interior was the only thing. The first day of renovation was the first day I was at the residence on vacation, and my husband kept saying, 'I will take command of everything!' It was clear and snarky, but the next two days were no longer vacation over, and we went to work with our hair hanging in the back, so let's put in the fever that as soon as we got back we would go straight to the separate building to see how things were going.
