Ch-4

"His female secretary never allowed me to enter his office even though I never was allowed. He didn't allow me to enter and also he took her side as if I would steal something. For god's sake, I came from the Benjamin family which has more social standing than Garcia's. I'm a legal Lady of Garcia's family.

"Because of me, the Benjamin empire supported the Garcia empire even when you were there. Even though I know he doesn't love me I helped him. Because he won't have to suffer. I know your father didn't approve of your marriage because the Garcia family is on the verge of bankruptcy. But still, I tried to make it stand.

" I kneeled in my ancestral house for the whole four days without moving. I didn't have food or didn't go to the bathroom. And worse was I got periods on the last day. If not for my periods, I don't know how many days I would have to continue kneeling there.

" I was hospitalized for more than a week. But he doesn't know. No one knows. Except for my grandpa and my old butler. 

"When he took over the company, I supported him with my connections. I brought some projects using my name as a famous designer and painter to his company during his starting stage. But still, he doesn't know. I was there and supported him to start his career.

" I'm tired, Lucy Clark. Why do I have to give in to him every time? Can't he see my effort at least once? Can't he notice me once?

"Will anyone agree to raise the child of his Ex. But I agreed. I never showed any hostility to the kid. But still, Arthur doesn't want me.

" I know I can't replace you. But it doesn't hurt to show him a smile at me.

"Maybe he doesn't want me to raise my hopes. It's also good. Haha, " she gave herself a self-deprecating laugh loudly.

The pitter-patter of the rain washed away her tears and it reduced the sound of her mocking laugh. Her voice can not be heard loudly but still, Arthur can hear her sadness.

Suddenly as if she saw something she turned her head to the side. His men suddenly removed the camera. But when they realized she is not looking at the continued recording again.

"Harry Brunette. You are a good man. Even though you know your wife loves another man. You made her get over him. I thought I could do the same but you see I'm here crying in front of your wife's tombstone like a fool. I became a mess. I admire you," she turned towards Lucy Clark's tomb.

"I turned down many suitors on my way only for him. But now I don't have a choice other than letting him go," she said as her tears fell. No one knows whether they are tears or raindrops. Her eyes are red. Her pale white skin turned red due to the harsh slapping of the raindrops against her skin. She looked like an angel but she was a fallen angel. 

"Lucy Clark, I'm here to say goodbye. I don't want to live a pitiful life anymore. I will divorce him and pursue my dreams.

"But I thought with your kid he will grow close to me. But all he is doing is pretending to be close in front of the child.

"I don't want to force him. I will leave tomorrow. But I don't want to hurt the child. But still, I don't have any choice." Her voice turned so small it's hard to make out her words. But Arthur knows lip reading because he learned it in his childhood. After all, Arthur is from a Royal family. There are certain skills that they should learn for being born with Royal blood.

"Goodbye. Mrs. Brunette and Mr. Brunette" said Esther Benjamin as she stood up and gave a deep bow to their tombs.

But due to kneeling in front of the tomb for a long time in the harsh rain, her legs turned to jelly. She couldn't support herself properly. She almost fell but she forced herself to stand strongly.

She looked at the sky and roared "FROM TOMORROW YOU WILL NOT BE THERE IN MY LIFE, LORD GARCIA!"

She stayed silent. But after a few seconds, she started crying loudly. As if her heart was broken into pieces. A dull pain started in her heart and it started burning with a small flame. In a few seconds, that flame burned her whole heart. She wailed and wailed until she lost consciousness.

The people who tailed her were about to step forward but a middle-aged man came there running and shouted "My Lady!"

He tried to wake her up. But she didn't. He slapped her cheeks harshly. When she felt a stinging pain on her cheeks she woke up. He is wearing an umbrella.

"I'm sorry Uncle, I'm too fatigued. I don't know if I have fainted. I will pay the price double for making you wait, " she said with a weak smile.

"First let's get you to the hospital!" He said.

"Thanks for your kindness. But no need. My child will be waiting for me. Without me, he won't even eat food, " she said.

"Okay, let's go, it's pouring heavily, " he said and supported her back to the car. 

With that, the video ended.

"Lord Garcia, you should be happy. You don't need to pretend from tomorrow. You don't need to force yourself to face her. And you don't need to give her an allowance. You can go home whenever you want. She won't be buzzing around you like a fly, " P. A. Nicholas said in his mocking tone.

If it's a normal day he would have been dead by now. Nicholas knows his behavior right now is different. He only wants him to push away from Lady Garcia. But this Ice Berge is too difficult to move. He had to struggle more.

"Yeah, we all know Lady Garcia has a sensitive body and has Sinusitis. I only hope she doesn't fall sick. If she is, it will be hard for her. Sigh... If I were her husband I wouldn't let go of her. Tch. If I were a little rich I would have pursued her. It's still fine though. From tomorrow she will be free. I can pursue her. Haha, " P. A. Nicholas mumbled to him. But still, Arthur heard him. After I started raising him. But before he could speak he heard his P. A. Voice.

"Wait, you didn't care about her when she got admitted to the hospital with the tumor. Her friend took her. Now it's small sinusitis. Haha, how foolish of me to think the great Lord Garcia will care about her, "

"Lord Garcia, shall I attend this last dinner with Lady Garcia on your behalf as usual?" He said loudly.

But his reply stunned P. A. Nicholas.
