Coincidence Or Fate

That evening, Scott and Joe returned from the club after Toby and Corey decided to join them for a while. Scott was carrying Joe to her room who got drunk all of a sudden. As he lay her down on the bed, she started talking unconsciously.

"Scott, why don't you just tell her."

Scott looked at the drunk girl on the bed who continued to talk in her sleep.

"Scott why did you bring me here for..."

Scott sighed seeing the cried in her sleep, he stayed by her side until she quite down. He slowly got out of her room and headed downstairs.

"Young Master?" the old butler said but was ignored as he continued walking to the direction of his office.

Scott went inside his office and got out a bottle of whiskey, he opened it as he seated by his desk. He then got his phone out and called someone.

"Is she home?" he asked the person on the other end

"Of course, Jordon called me to asked where we are?" Toby said who was heading home as well.

"Toby, did I really made the wrong move?"

The person on the other end laughed, "Scott between you and me your suppose to be the smart one. Yet why did you do something that would not only hurt her but also you at the same time."

"She seems happy though..." he asked whilst pouring himself a glass of whiskey

"Scott are you out of your mind. Of course, she needs to be happy, she can't live a life feeling all depress and lonely all the time." He yelled at him. "You know pretty well what she been through, yet all you do is add up to her pain. If you love her why not tell her the truth, come on what happened in the past is in the past already. When will the two of you move on and forgive each other?"

"You won't understand..." he replied

"Scott, don't me. I'm gay and a lot of guys have fooled me already but the difference between us is that I know how to move on and accept the pain. I take it as a lesson and make sure it won't happen again in the future. If I truly love someone I can learn to forgive them and give them a second chance not hurt them so they can feel the pain you felt before."

"Scott have you forgotten you've also hurt her once or twice already but you end up regretting it. So why do it again now?"

Scott drunk his whiskey before answering Toby, "Cause I hate myself that much..."

"Scott I'm sorry but what you did earlier was not cool at all. Not just for Angelique's sake but for that woman. Scott let me ask you do you actually like that woman too. I can see why you might like her, she has the same eyes as Angelique." he explained

"It's not like that..."

"Scott I ain't a fool not to notice it, we been friends for too long and it's pretty obvious why you decided to bring her here as well. The girl likes you but you don't of course. She can accept all the pain since she cares for you a lot. Anyways, I'm home now... Get some rest and forget about it. Do what Ange is doing move one already..." he said as he ended the call.


Scott sighed after hearing the painful truth from Toby, he was stupid indeed but he only did all of this cause he thought it was the best way to let her go. But seeing her happy with other guys make his heart ache so much that he felt like punching them in the face.
