Coincidence Or Fate

Once Angelique got home, Jordon went out and brought all the medicine and supplements she needed to take so she can recover fast. Angelique was in her room when she notice her thing from last night was already there. Jordon must have brought all my stuff she though. She grab her purse and quickly took her phone out.

When Angelique opened her phone, she received a couple of message and missed calls from Harry, Jason and Jose.

She then send them all the same message informing them why she was unable to work.

[Sorry if I was unable to go to work today. Last night did really end well but I'm fine nothing to worry about. Anyways, I'll be resting for a day or two. I'll make it up to you guys next time.]

Before Angelique could put her phone down, she received a notification on her phone.

[Harry: Ange are you alright?]

[I'm fine Harry, I just need a few days of rest.]

[Harry: Sure?]

[Jason: ….?]

Angelique was shock to see Jason and Harry send a similar question at the same time. She would expect either one of them will inform each other if she is already texting one of them. So in the end, she had to send the same message twice.

[I ain't feeling too well, but I'll be fine. I've already visit the hospital.]

[Harry: Are you alone?]

[Jason: Whose with you?]

Angelique was dumbfound when they replied at the same time and almost the same question. She could not help it but answer both of them again.

[Yes, I'm alone but I'll be fine…]

After Angelique sent the reply to both of them, she did not receive any more messages.

At the same time, Jordon has finally returning and brought some ingredients and her medicines. He prepared a small porridge for her to eat so she can take her medicine.

Once she was all done and settle in, Jordon cleaned everything up before he left and said. "Ange, please do rest and stop moving around. Just for today at least take a break. If you need anything call me okay, if not call Toby over or Jamie once his done with work."

Angelique nodded as she tuck herself helplessly in bed and get some rest.

Jordon watch Angelique for awhile until she drift of to sleep, he quietly left the room and went back to the kitchen to clean all the mess and tidy up Angelique house a bit. Once he was done, he went to check on her again before he head back home.

As Jordon step outside Angelique flat, he bump into Jose who brought some ingredient and fruits and he said, "Jose, Angelique is asleep right now…"

Jose was disappointed after hearing what Jordon said, he really wants to cook for Angelique, like what she did last time. He tried hard to think of a good reason for him to be allowed to stay and take care of her. Unlike Jordon and the rest, he is just a classmate and employee.

Before he could think of a solution Jordon handed him his spare key to Angelique's flat, "It fine if you stay with her, just leave the key at work tomorrow."


Jose was surprised when Jordon handed him the spare key and walked away without looking back. He was unable to thank Jordon from the shock he just received just now.

As Jose entered Angelique flat for the first time, he was surprised how tidy it was. He thought maybe Jordon have clean it up a bit. He quickly went to the kitchen and store the ingredients he will prepare for later.

Jose then went to Angelique room and check on her, when he entered he witness Angelique flushed face and sweaty forehead. He went to the bathroom and grab a towel and a small basin with water. He went back to Angelique side and slowly wipe off the sweat on her face.

As Jose seated by Angelique side and watch her rest, he did not realize he soon drifted off to sleep as well.
