Coincidence Or Fate

Up in the air, a man was busy looking at the dark sky. Even though he can't see anything but his mind was wondering off somewhere else.

Unexpectedly, his phone suddenly rung and without even looking he answered.

"Where are you?" asked the person from the other end.

Just hearing the voice already he knew who it was, hearing the man's voice just irritated him, "Jamie, why did you call of the sudden?"

"Stop making thing so complicated, just answer me where are you?"

Jamie's arrogance was getting into his nerve already, he was the last person on earth he wishes to talk to after all the things that been happening. "Somewhere far away. Happy?!"

"Scott, I don't care what you're doing, but whatever you're doing right now, just don't involve Angelique..."

"What gives you the right to tell me that." he calmly replied "When you all this years, have lied to her and yet did not even consider the people around you. Come now my old friend, have you ever wonder how the person closes to you felt about her too..."

"F*ck you, what do you mean?"

"Apart from the two of us, do you think no one else cares for her as much as you do..."

As the person on the other end was left to ponder on the question, his voice became soft and quiet as he answered back, "Jordon..."

"Bingo! You are indeed the smartest amongst our friends. But you are the weakest among us, who cowardly hide himself from the truth."

"Scott, you think you're so brave" the man on the other end casually laughed. "Where are you now when she needed you most?"

Scott face turned cold after hearing what Jamie said, "Jamie, don't ever open your mouth if all you have to say are nonsense..."

"Scott, this is my last warning, don't ever come near Angelique again. Also, don't worry... I'll take care of her from now on. When the time comes, I'll send you an invitation to our wedding." then the man ended the call, leaving Scott in such bad shock

He clenches the phone in his hand almost crashing it, he let the phone go dropping it on the ground as he sat back on his chair.

Jamie's word kept repeating in his head, causing his blood to boil. He felt furious and wished to punch the man right now. He let all his anger out and inhaled a deep breath in, he then picked up his phone and opened it. He looked at the picture of a girl dressed in white. It was Angelique wearing the dress in the fashion show at the moment when she accidently notices him and was looking at him with a gentle smile.

Back in the hospital corridor, a man just finished his call with someone. He walked inside the private room, inside was the girl in deep slumber. He walked to her side as he gently car rests her hair. He bent down and left a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I promise, I won't let anyone ever hurt you again. I'll be the man you want me to be."
