Coincidence Or Fate

Early the next day, Jamie and Angelique set home. It was not even daybreak when the two decided to go back.

Jamie dropped Angelique to her apartment first, on the way to her apartment Jamie noticed a familiar car part outside but did not worry about it. When Angelique headed to her apartment, she notices a man seated by the door fast asleep.

Angelique got down on her knee to check who it was, "Jordon?"

The man slowly opened his eyes as he notices a familiar figure standing in front of him, he was still half asleep and his vision was a bit blurry.

"Jordon, what are you doing here?"

Jordon notices the familiar voice, "Ange, your home..."

Angelique quickly help Jordon up and opened the door to her apartment, "Come inside, Did you spend the whole night here?"

Jordon nodded his head, "I was worried."

"Worried? About what? Didn't I tell you that I was stranded with Jamie..." Angelique frowned as he helps the man inside her apartment and sat him down the sofa. "I'll make you some tea to warm your body."

Jordon shook his head, "No need, I can go home now since your here."

Angelique was not happy with Jordon words, she looked coldly at him and yelled, "Bloody hell Jordon, what the f*ck where you thinking staying out there. You have the spare key to my apartment, why didn't you just come inside and rested here."

"I really don't understand what going on with you guys late."

Jordon walked towards the girl who was boiling water in the kitchen, he slowly caresses her head to calm her down, "Sorry, just that thought that we almost lost you... I'm having a hard time to move on..."

Angelique felt bad for raising her voice, she did not realize that they've gone to so much pain a few weeks ago and have not yet moved on. She has never thought of it being such a big deal, for her life comes and goes, we just need to keep moving forward.

Angelique embraces Jordon tightly, "Jordon, I'm sorry... Since the day we've met you've always taken care of me yet I've only been such a burden to you. I'm sorry for yelling at you, I..."

Before she could finish what she was about to say, the man kissed her in the forehead, "It's fine..."

The girl was surprised and became speechless, she felt awkward receiving the kiss despite it's not the first time. How come all of the sudden receiving a kiss from Jordon felt so different like there's a complete meaning to it.

Luckily the awkwardness was broken off when the kettle started to make a sound, "I'll get it..."

Jordon left the girl frozen on the spot, as he handles the kettle and prepared the tea himself. Jordon also prepares a cup for the girl, "Here..."

The girl was still speechless, she took the tea and just nodded.

Both of them sat down on the sofa not saying a single word to each other. After Jordon finished the tea, he left and did not bother the girl at all. As he was heading out of the apartment, his phone received a message, he checks it out and just smiled.
