Crimson's Revenge

A few weeks ago...

"So let's meet on Thursday around 4:30 pm at the City Aquarium. Is it alright with you?" Sae said. Reen nodded in reply.

"Ohhh... is that a date I hear?" Diola, Reen's best friend teased. Reen blushed.

Reen and Sae looked at each other but quickly looked away.

"Oooohhhhh....." Diola teased them yet again.

"Oh, stop it! Let's go." Reen hurriedly said.

"Hey! I'm not done talking~"

Reen pulled Diola away from the boys.

"Alright, alright. See you later baby!" Diola shouted and blew a kiss at her boyfriend, Skie.

"See ya!" Skie replied while pretending to catch the kiss.

Sae rolled his eyes while murmuring "Love struck couple" under his breath. Skie heard it and smiled slyly at him.

"What?"

"So you've finally asked her out on a date huh?"

"Well, it's not a date, it's just that I needed someone to uhm…. You know... "

"Hmm..." Smirking at his friend's obvious embarrassment and discomfort

"Never mind! Let's go as well, before we become late for class."

That was how Reen's day started, Sae her long time crush for almost a year now had finally ask her out on what seems to be a date.

"Finally an improvement to your relationship, you finally started taking that next step. Good for you Reen!" Diola said happily

Though Reen felt a bit shy by her friend's encouraged it still made her smile gleefully. She couldn't help but feel exited for at the prospect of their first ever "date" to come.

She didn't want to get her hope up too much in fear of it being her own delusions and assumptions so initially when Diola said Sae had a crush on her she completely ignored it. But eventually the signs and actions Sae does towards her had become obvious and obvious so her initial fear disappeared as they became more than friends yet less than lovers.

Reen knew that Sae was being considerate towards her as he knew she had been very busy these past few months. This had stopped him from asking her out. But that will start to change now; They were finally taking a step forward.

"I hope the coming days would pass faster." Reen mentally wished

"I can't wait to tell aunt and uncle about the great news. Uncle would definitely be mad but will eventually give in while aunt will squeal in delight and have a similar reaction as Diola." She made a silly face at the thought.

While these thoughts swirled her mind, class for the day had ended.

"Guys, I've got to leave first. My uncle said he had something important to tell me so I have to hurry home."

"Oh! If that's the case, let's just go out next time then. So who's fetching you today?" Diola said while walking with Reen, Sae and Skie towards the University's parking lot.

"Actually..." Reen said hesitantly.
