Crimson's Revenge

The puzzle piece that Reen was using was the gift that Hue and Wisteria gifted her. The puzzle piece was the fusion of the 4 puzzle pieces she originally had taken back from the severed arms of her family.

When the different colored puzzle pieces where combined together it actually created the shade of crimson.

Crimson's shade is in a deep reddish purple color between red and rose [1]. The combination of the powder blue colored one from Damon, the baby pink from Elena, the red colored one from Sophia and the silver colored from Reen turned into this shade [2]

Reen did visit her family's grave together with Hue and Wisteria during her slight amnesia situation but because of here temporary memory loss she really didn't feel any attachment when visiting them coupled with the lack of details her adoptive parents told her about their death made her not even stop to think why there was only one grave.

They had then gifted this puzzle piece to her after they visited her family's grave, not minding one bit that she forgot the significance of the said piece.

It was actually her very first gift to her family after saving her hard earn money for months selling candies and little things such as this.

Her family had varied reactions, her mom was happy for the thoughtful gesture, her brother though pretending to be disgusted by the cheesy gesture kept and still wore the bracelet at Reen's continues pestering. For her sister, she signed at the little wastrel but like her brother use the bracelet too making the young girl extremely happy and proud.

To make it more meaningful they modified the lock on Sophia's journal that they gave her in the past into a puzzle piece lock using her pendant as the key.

The journal and a few more things were the only remnants that they were able save from the fire. The journal they had given Sophia at one of her birthday in the past was actually a very magnificent journal.

It was one of CPJ's [3] limited edition journal that was the only kind in this world. Mind you despite the simple design with its red cover and engraved border, the materials used for the book were no small matter [4] fetching it quite a huge price in the international market.

It was also one of the first edition journal personally created by the famous multi-talented and founder of CPJ Mr. Arthur which if auctioned could very well be sold for hundreds to thousand dollars.

The red cover which warped around the book is made from natural fibers which typically don't melt easily. The journal was thoroughly covered that you cannot even see its pages. Because of this, it prevented the paper inside the journal to be burned.

The designs and carvings for this journal were personally carved and designed by Mr. Arthur.

[1] & [2] Actually to get the crimson color, you need to mix the strong and bright deep red with a little blue which I got from the internet. In my case, since I needed at least 3 shades to combine them the strong and bright deep red was spilt into two colors instead.
