Crimson's Revenge

Uoron by then had to leave as when everything was once again settled, it was already around 8 in the evening. Not wanting to overstay his visit he bid them goodbye as Reen escorted him towards his car.

Reen walked in front leading the way while thinking of various things while Uoron walked behind her looking at her small frame.

"How can someone with such a small body have so much power, even her friend is as strong as a trained soldier." His eyes narrowed in contemplation.

After arriving at his car, his driver stood at the passenger seat as he opened the car door. Silence had then engulfed them. Uoron knew Reen wanted to say something so he kept silent and was waiting for Reen to start.

After moving towards the car's door he then turned around to look at her as he was now in front of Reen while the driver was beside him.

"You…" Reen started saying

Uoron by now had returned to his aloof stature.

"You're the next in line for the CJP Hysteria company…?" Although she was asking in actual fact observing his driver's reaction confirmed this to be true.

Throughout their interactions although she heard his name as well as the features was quite familiar to her it was only when Mirly pointed and asked if they were one and the same did everything clicked and became clear on her mind.

After considering everything she decided to just bite the bullet [1] and asked him.

"I'd like to make a deal with you." Reen said in all seriousness despite not hearing his confirmation or denial which amused Uoron, this was the first time he saw her being so serious.

"What kind of deal are we talking about here?" He titled his head in interest.

"I don't have the documents and exact details for now. I will visit you one of these days if that's fine with you." Reen said hesitantly worried that he would decline with her indecisiveness.

"That's fine with me." He then took his business card from his pocket, signaled for his driver who then gave him a pen. He flipped it and wrote his personal number at the back and handed it to Reen.

"Call me on this number if everything's ready."

Reen slowly extended her hand, took it and nodded her head. He looked one last time at Reen who was looking straight at his eyes. He shifted his eyes then went inside his car as the driver closed it.

Reen continued to stare at the car until she could not see it anymore. She inhaled and went inside the house.

After this incident, Seth's siblings eventually aided his company bringing it back to its normal operating business times. Reen after that gathering never attended the gathering again which her relatives did not react negatively or opposed.
