He cared both of these but knowing he had to let one of them go he chose to let Mirly go.

He thought once his career takes off whatever he and Mirly had can be salvage but now, reading her letter… her unsure feelings, he could not help but question his own feelings too.

If he like Mirly, didn't really like the other but merely infatuated with the thought of love itself.

Mirly was the only girl besides his family that he interacted with a lot as there were only a few women who attended the dojo. He tried as much as he could to stay away from girls in general as he was still an upcoming actor and did not want to get involve in a scandal or any of that sort so what Mirly wrote then could be true for him as well.

He rested his head on the sits headboard and covered his face with his right arm still clenching the letter using his left hand while contemplating such thoughts.

Families bidding their love ones goodbye, kissing them one last time before they leave, friends hugging and teasing their fellow friends, children running around chasing each other, parents yelling and searching for their children, staffs attending to their customer's needs, guards protecting the safety of the citizens and people leaving and arriving oblivious that somewhere in this huge airport a young boy's mind and heart was filled with confusion and guilt.

As they only briefly met each other and Chad was still not famous then, Reen didn't remember him at all. She only remembered this meeting a few days after they had their little gathering.

As Mirly was not sure what she really felt towards Chad she didn't force Chad to make any sort of decision. In Chad's case, as he was focused on his career advancement and training days he like Mirly did not force her to do anything.

Because of this unclear relationship between the two, they did not know nor understand what their place in each other's heart where.

The letter that Reen received was a short explanation of her departure with the so called song that Reen sang the last time the group visited Reen's house. As Reen made the music and instruments behind it she considered it as a collaboration between them though without the writer's permission then.

Chad had a crush on Reen because of her and Mirly's similar personalities. The new song she sang entitled Torn heart actually portrayed their love triangle splendidly but the difference was that Reen was the third party while Mirly was the person he loves that can be seen in his eyes no matter how hard he tried to forget about her.

Another difference was that Reen did not have any feeling at all for him, though she felt that Chad had some sort of good feelings towards her she did not think too much about it as she was still thinking about Sae's case then.

Chad was too devastated then so he did not really remember being acquainted with Reen briefly during that airport visit.
