Crimson's Revenge

Sae who had just had a confrontation with Reen a few days ago was walking down the street aimlessly when he saw a girl who seems to be similar in age with him.

She was wearing a white lace inset high neck romper with frilly lace inset at the neckline and a white all-star ballet canvas sneaker for her shoes. The familiar woman had her hair styled into a sleek and super smooth layer with braided top.

Seeing this vaguely familiar girl, Sae remembered the past hazily while staring at her back lost in thought.

"Lubenica [1]? Are you alright? Why are you crying? Lu [2]? Lu?!" Sae asked a bit worriedly.

Lubenica looked up at Sae's worried face with her mix emotion filled expression, he was wrong, she wasn't crying but her face looked like she will.

"Do I look like I'm fine to you?" She asked snappily.

Sae was taken aback by the sudden harsh reaction, his face filled with awkwardness.

"I'm sorry…" Where the only things he could say

Lubenica seeing his reaction felt extremely guilty by her inappropriate reaction, he was only concerned about her and here she was taking it out on him. Sae smiled awkwardly followed by embarrassingly saying,

"You're right, that was a stupid question."

He then stared straight ahead at the picturesque view in front of them. He stood beside her while she sat on the grass while hugging her knees.

"Sae, this… Sorry… it's just that the scenery was so beautiful that… I..." Lubenica hurriedly explained.

They were on top of a mountain with its autumn season red, brown and yellow beautiful leaves surrounding them, the scenery was indeed breath taking. It was the first time she saw something as beautiful as this which made her want to cry in admiration. It also made her remember her woes which made her even more emotional than normal.

"I'm weird aren't I?" She said while smiling slightly as she returned her gaze to the picturesque scene.

She then laughed at her own silliness while looking at him.

"Not at all..." Sae said as he smiled looking at her again not minding her sudden outburst.

In reality, he knew that something was bothering her but as he was not that good at comforting people he decided to invite her in this short mountain trip. The mountain was not that high so even if they wore the clothes they were now it was fine. There was also a road and a series of stairs leading to the top so it was easier to climb it.

Lubenica who did not know what he had planned to do wore the clothes she was currently wearing highly regretting on her insistence to wear it. But seeing the scene before them all her tiredness faded away. There were only 1 to 2 people in groups or on their own with them so it gave them the privacy and relaxation they needed.

They remained that way for a few minutes without any dead air between them and only comfortable and enjoyable silence engulfed the two.
