Crimson's Revenge

"That's too bad. We will definitely invite you some other day for dinner to thank you for what you've done to my precious daughter." Wisteria said

"No worries ma'am, you don't have too. Helping a person in need is a common reaction." Cookie replied shyly ignoring the curious fact of this couple's never before seen daughter.

She knew that they did have a daughter named "Crimson" the famous international singer and songwriter but never heard them having another daughter as fragile and meek as the patient was.

Suppressing her curiosity she tosses the question out of her mind for now.

"Nonetheless, if it was out of concern or coincidence, I would like to thank you on behalf of me and my husband. Thank you so much!" she bowed deeply towards her whom made Cookie flustered

"You should not be like this Miss. It's really alright." She hurriedly assisted her up

Wisteria smiled gently earning a blush form Cookie. She has such a beautiful smile, I wonder if the pretty lady got this from her.

"Oh right, I never did get your name and my daughter's saviour's name."

"He" was still unable to come because of his busy schedule which greatly disappointed Wisteria as she wanted to personally thank him and invite him to dinner.

"Oh! How stupid of me I'm..."

"Hey Wiz everything's done. Let's go!" Hue shouted across the hall

"Just a minute!" she shouted back. She bowed and smiled again totally forgetting her earlier question in a hurry to check on Reen's condition.

Cookie being highly distracted by her smile, she then weakly walked towards Veo to stand by his side and waved at them as a goodbye gesture.

Veo on the other hand who had assisted Hue on Reen's discharge procedure as he was actually the son of the hospital's director made her hospital discharge faster than usual.

Hue ushered Reen inside the car, nodded as a sign of his thanks towards the two people then went inside the driver's seat. Wisteria waving at them again opened the passenger's door and sat beside Hue. He turned on the stereo and played an instrumental music as he sped away.

Cookie and Veo who could not see their car anymore, walked towards the parking lot to go home as well.

Reen had briefly explained what happened but didn't elaborate more when they were in the hospital grounds. She told them she'll explain everything at home. Understanding that there were outsiders among them they nodded in agreement.

They didn't say anything during the whole trip and comfortably listened to the beautiful classic melody as they decided to talk once they get home. The trip took longer than usual since they had hit rush hour however it was a relaxing and a peaceful ride with only the harmonious music lingering inside the car.
