Seeing this, the doctor knowing that Wisteria hasn't fully absorbed the information had given Wisteria a few minutes to digest this information.

After calming herself, Wisteria hesitatingly asked.

"Can you recuperate from this injury?" Opting to ask in a general way as she still hasn't fully accepted this reasoning.

"Recovery from this type of injury varies based on the patient and the brain injury he/she is experiencing. Several people attempted to predict the degree of TBI recovery but up until today such a resolution remains unknown[1]." He inhaled as he continued

"We can't really determine the exact time a person can recover from such an injury, as much as I am ashamed to say this I really can't reduce this timeframe which could take months or even years. It really depends on the patient [2]." He continued to explain while shaking his head in guilt at his own incompetency

"If what you said is true, is there no possibility of her being cured then?" There was no use running away from facts as she anxiously asked the question she's been meaning to ask since hearing his initial diagnostic.

"Mild traumatic brain injuries as I've mentioned does not really have any treatment, the patient only needs to rest and drink pain relievers to treat his/her headaches when necessary. However, a person found out to have a mild traumatic brain injury typically needs to be checked closely at home for any tenacious, worsening and/or new symptoms that may resurface [3]."

"But for now since we only did the preliminary examinations it is still not determined what level of brain injury she has so I recommend that she stay here for a few more days just right after I fully determine if I need to recommend other prescriptions beside the previously given ones and other important details needed." He finally concluded

Hearing this, Wisteria finally breathes in relief.

"No matter how severe the injury is, as long as she can recover then that's what's important." She told herself

The doctor thinking it was no use to dampen Wisteria's mood opted not to explain that most TBIs are mild and do not cause permanent or long-term disability; however, depending on the severity level of the injury, it can actually cause substantial and lifelong disability [4].

He signed to himself, as Wisteria had a special background he did not want to give a final conviction except when he really got the necessary tests and results he needs to give to insure that his final verdict is without a doubt authentic.

After a few more questioning and answering session between the two, the doctor left Wisteria as he has other patients to visit.

Wisteria proceeded to call home after making sure the doctor left while walking towards Reen's room.
