Shen Yong helped Ling Fei wear a clean dress when they heard Xiao Shun Tu announced Na Lam’s arrival.

‘Your Majesty,’ Shen Yong said and kowtowed.

‘Leave,’ Na Lam ordered Shen Yong.

Shen Yong immediately left the bedchamber.

‘Your Majesty, even if you are the emperor, it’s not right for you to walk into a maiden’s bedchamber,’ Ling Fei said.

‘The palace belongs to me,’ Na Lam said. ‘I can walk into any place in the palace. Ling Fei, why must you always oppose me? Is it hard for you to smile at me once?’

‘Your Majesty, you came to the wrong place…’ Ling Fei said.

‘I’m at the right place,’ Na Lam said. ‘Ling Fei, I want you to stay with me in the palace for the rest of your life.’

‘Your Majesty, I don’t understand,’ Ling Fei said.

‘Ling Fei, you’re the first woman I love,’ Na Lam said. ‘I love you. I want you to be my empress, and I want our future son to be the crown prince and the future emperor.’

‘I don’t want to be empress,’ Ling Fei said.

‘Why?’ Na Lam asked.

‘Your Majesty, I don’t want to be empress…’ Ling Fei said.

‘That isn’t a reason,’ Na Lam said and held Ling Fei’s hands. ‘Tell me why.’

‘There’s no reason why I don’t want to be empress,’ Ling Fei said.

Ling Fei didn’t even know why the empress dowager wanted her to enter the palace.

‘Ling Fei, I don’t care if you don’t want to be empress,’ Na Lam said. ‘It won’t change anything. You’re going to be my empress.’

‘You can’t…’ Ling Fei said.

‘I’m the emperor,’ Na Lam said. ‘There’s nothing I can’t do.’

‘Let go of me,’ Ling Fei said.

‘You can’t even dream about me letting go of you,’ Na Lam said.

Na Lam knew Ling Fei wanted to overpower him using her fighting skills so he hugged her with all his strength.

‘What do you want to do?’ Ling Fei asked.

‘You’re going to find out now,’ Na Lam said.

Na Lam kissed Ling Fei’s lips intuitively. She felt his desire for her pressed between her thighs.

‘Ling Fei, say you’ll be my empress,’ Na Lam said.
