Distant Love

Beatrix also raised her head to look at the lady who was grinning as she walked to their table. As she reached James, without warning she lightly kissed him on the lips then sat beside him.

Beatrix: "..."

James: "..."

"How are you?, oh i missed you so much" the lady tugged onto James's arm.

"Erm.....am fine" he replied trying to retract his arm

"Who is she" she asked looking at Beatrix

"i am his..." before Beatrix could finish, James intrerupted "She is my girlfriend, right baby" as he put his hand on Beatrix's hand.

Beatrix: "..." . Even though they hang out alot, she still haven't accepted his relationships, she have contemplation. She trusts him but she feels her heart just wasn't ready yet.

"Oh" the lady blurted, suddenly her gaze turned sharp and cold as she stared at Beatrix then she continued "Hy, am Emily and you are Miss....." and extended her hand with a slight smile.

"Erm... Beatrix" then she extended her hand and they shaked hands. James on the other hand, just became mute, he didn't know what to say or how to react, opening his mouth "We were just on our way, baby lets go" then he stood up and reached his hand to hold Beatrix. Without much over thinking, she accepted it and stood up.

"Oh, well nice meeting you. We should have a drink sometime" Emily smiled widely at both of them.

"Sure why not" Beatrix replied and James just started walking while followed behind.

Outside the restaurant, at the parking lot, James leaned on the car door and Beatrix noticed his tenced expression and she asked "Whats wrong?"

"Erm... just tired i guess, lets go"

"Wait who was she?"

"Do you really wanna know?" he asked with a low voice.

"Yes, thats why i asked dummy"

He sighed "She is a heart breaker" he said coldly then opened the car door and sat on the driver seat. Beatrix was dumbfounded by his reply, her face looked puzzeled as she try to understand what he meant, she entered the car and they left the scene.

Chris leaned on his bulletproof Chevrolet Corvette C7 while impatiently glancing at his watch. He then called out "Sophie, we are gonna be late to the airport".

"One minute please" she replied from inside the house

"Ahhh, thats what you have been saying for the past 30min. We just going there for two days not a month"

She then walked out the door carrying a small travelling bag in her hand, she replied "I know"

"Wait, you have been packing for 1 hour and this is al you brought" He pointed at the bag and furrowed his brows.

"Yea, Why?" she asked.

"1 whole hour for this?"

"Yes. i have to make sure its organized"

"You know what, forget it. Lets go". They both boarded the car and he stepped on the acceleretor.
