Distant Love

Beatrix stepped out of the house at 8pm sharp and Oliver was already waiting for her leaning against his Aston Martin Valkyrie while looking at his wrist watch, he wore a black 3 piece suit, this time he radiated a different aura than the time at the cafe, he looked more mature and elegant. She slowly towads him, as he raised his head to look at her, his mind went into a coma.

Beatrix wore a purple off-shoulder gown, with purple heels, her hair curled covering her neck, the lights shined on her skin making her glow like an angel, wearing a beautiful smile that can make every mans heart melt away. As she reached Oliver, he took out some black sunglasses and put on, she furrowed her brows and asked "Why are you putting these on?"

He smiled "Ma Lady, your beauty is blinding" then he held her hand and led her to the passenger seat,

and opened it for her .

She smiled and sat down "You always know how to make me smile dont you?"

"It has become my duty" he winked at her

He sat in the driver seat, started the engine then asked "So, where do you wanna go first?"

"Surprise me" she grinned widely making Oliver raise his brows.

He smiled then stepped on the accelerator, speeding away.

They arrived at a restaurant, two butlers quickly opened the door for both of them as they greeted in chorus "Welcome to Blue Ocean Restaurant, we hope you enjoy your dinner". Chris gave the car keys to the butler and walked over to Beatrix extending his hand to her, she smiled and took it, they both walked into the restaurant.

They sat at a small round table for two people, facing each other, they both ordered grilled shrimp. Oliver knew Beatrix loved shrimps, so he decided to take them to a seafood restaurant. How does he know?, well lets just say he did some research after he left the cafe.

Their dinner was lively as they chatted softly so as not to disturb other people, they talked about there childhood, high school, college and others in the same criteria . After they finished, Oliver took the highway and started going the wrong way, Beatrix looked confused then she asked "Where are you going?"

"Mmmmm, am kidnapping you?" he said with a cold voice.

She furrowed her brows and began to feel nervous "Wh..What?"

He laughed "Relax, am just kidding. Am sorry, sorry but the moment was just too good to waste"

She frowned her face and lightly punched his shoulder then pouted "Don't mess with me like that"

He regained his composure "I thought you liked surprises" but she didn't reply . He shook his head while still grinning and kept driving.

After 20min of driving, they reached a hill, he stopped the car and got out then he went to open the door for beatrix, she slowly walked out then he shut the door and held her hand, they walked to a tree on the hilltop, under the tree was a cotton mat with a champaign bottle and two champaign flutes andfour glass jars filled with fireflies which lit up the whole place. It looked amazing and romantic, with the slow breeze brushing against her face.

"Surprise!" he said with a laughing voice

"Am really surprised right now"

"Well this is just what i could do in the limited time you gave me" he grinned then continued "Well, come on" he waved his hands at her

About 11pm he dropped her home, he came out of the car and talked to her before she hugged him and left. Oblivious to them, someone was watching all the scene from afar, the person's murderous gaze can be seen from the dark with clenched fists before entering a car and driving away.
