Distant Love

Beatrix was doing some work in her Private lab at the Marks Mansion, she mixed a blue chemical with a yellow chemical in a beaker and it turned pink, she took a dropper then took some of the pink liquid, she turned to another chemical in a conical flask that was red. One drop of the pink chemical into the red one started a reaction, it turned white and she smiled but suddenly it turned green.

"No, no, not this again. why cant i get it right?!" she spoke on top of her voice. She took off her lab coat, threw it on the floor and sat on her swivel chair, she rubbed her temple in frustration and try to calm down, suddenly her phone rang, without checking the ID, she slide the answer key and put it in her ears.

"What do you want?!!" she practically screamed the words.

"What tha hell?!, you planing on blowing up my ear drums?" James shouted back

She sighed and took a deep breath "Sorry, am just so frustrated right now?"

"Oh, bad timing then" his voice sounded disappointed

"Why?"

"I wanted to ask if you wanna go to Red Star Club tonight"

"Yea sure, i really need to release some stress today. I hope they've got good cocktail drinks?"

"The best" he chuckled then continued "I'll pick you up at 8pm then"

"Don't be late"

"Am never late to see you B" he said with seductive voice.

"Pervert" then she ended the call. She leaned her back on the swivel chair 'Now what to wear?'.

Chris paced left and right in his office with a dark expression, he looked stressed and angry. Suddenly Mr. wong entered the office with some folders in his hand, he dropped them on Chris's desk then began to leave.

"Mr. Wong, have you got any update about the person who leaked Meng Sha project information?"

"No master, the person was a spy sent by someone, a rival company maybe?"

"Doesn't matter just find him?" his voice began to turn cold which made Mr. Wong gulp in fear. The room was silent then suddenly his phone rang. He gestured to Mr. Wong teling him to leave.

He answered the call "Talk" his cold voice rang thorugh whole room

"Sir, we found the spy but before we got to his location, he was killed by satellite detonated nanite poison that was put in his body" a mans voice explained

"Ok then, you know what to do next then?"

"Yes sir". Chris then ended the call.

'Nanite Poison. Is the assasin that murdered my mother and this spy connected somehow?. I need answers' he brushed his hair backward with his hand.

At Red Star Club, James and Beatrix sat at the drink counter taking shots. Beatrix already took five, she was feeling so high and just blabbering rubbish while James just nodded everytime she speaks. James drank only two, not because he didn't like it but Beatrix need someone to take her home later, so he had to drink a limited amount.

A lady was staring at them with disdain in her eyes, she called the waiter and whispered some word in his ears then pointed at Beatrix, she took out some cash from her purse and gave it to him. She smirked evilly as she took her wine and sipped slowly.

'Let me see James love you after today, you bitch' she thought still smirking.
