5 Years later

After the events on the island, everything was back to normal. James's mother was confirmed dead. Sophie found out that her step mother killed her real mother so that she could marry her father. Mrs. John was charged with murder and was sentensed to life imprisonment. Sophie was also charged with crimes of alliance with the criminal, so she was fined by the court to pay for the damage they caused to Marks Corps. But since she was family, the charges were dropped.

All the media speculation about Betrix was cleared, she made her breakthrough on curing lung cancer and built a community hospital that serves free treatment. Well her relationship with James became serious and they were planing to get married. As for Oliver, they stayed friends and he got a new girlfriend. Emily fixed her issues with James and left Greenwood to live her free life as an actress.

In the Marks Mansion, Sophie was running after a little a boy trying to catch him, she finally caught his arm and carried him in her arm.

"Marcus, we have to go see papa. We shouldn't be late" Sophie smiled

"OK Mommy am sorry" the kid smiled sweetly

She pinched his cheek and grinned "Good boy"

She walked out of the house carrying him in her arm, the driver was already waiting for them outside, they boarded the car and left.

The wind blew slowly making the leaves bristle, the sun hid behind some shade of clouds, making the surrounding calm and peaceful. Sophie was standing on the green grass facing a tombstone, Marcus held her hand and they stood quietly.

"I always regret what i did, i will never forgive myself. You were important to them but my naivety made took you away from them. Wherever you are i hope you can forgive me" she took a rose from her hand and placed it on the tombstone, Marcus did same.

"Am sure he has forgiven you" a mans voice spoke from behind her

"Daddy!" Marcus shouted then ran to Chris, who carried him in his arm.

"Hey champ, you missed me?" he pinched Marcus's cheek and he nodded in reply

He walked up to Sophie and put his hand around her waist "Sorry am late. Again"

"Mm" she just nodded and placed her head on his chest. They all stood there silently.

James wore a white tuxedo on the stage and the saint stood adjacent to him, the Church doors opened, them wedding chimes started. Beatrix walked in holding Chris's arm and they both walked to the stage. He gave her hand to James and smiled to both of them.

The saint started the formalities, after they both said there vows and put the ring in each others fingers. The saint said "You may now kiss the bride?"

James and Beatrix looked at each other, Beatrix's face and ears flushed red as James raised her veil and touched her cheeks, he leaned slowly and she closed her eyes, as his lips touched her, people stood up and started clapping for them making the whole place feel celebratory.

Chris, Beatrix, Sophie, James and Marcus stood infront of the camera with wide grins and with 'Click' their beautiful family memory was captured.
