I apologize to everyone. I know that it seems like one of these come out every other month, but life happens especially when you've got as many irons in the fire that I have currently. So, a quick layout of what is happening.

A promotion at work has not only added responsibilities on to my work but changed my schedule up to the point that I've been try to work writing into it for the last 2 weeks and I think I almost have it down so next chapter should be out by this weekend at the latest.

The other thing is that I kinda wrote myself into a corner. The story so far has Devin and co. confronting Kilgrave in the middle of a park with people around. So it's taking me a hot minute to figure out how to write this so as to not accelerate things into phase 2 just yet. Phase 2 doesn't happen for at least another 2-3 arcs that I have planned, including an original arc that will introduce Devin to S.H.I.E.L.D. and co. This was also kinda the reason for the fluff chapter last time.

Again sorry and thank you for the patience. Couple of quick facts just for the hell of it.

1. So far I have pulled from the MCU/Netflix series, several comic arcs including from the "Ultimate" series and have been hinting at one of the Marvel Animated Movies for one of the evil organizations.

2. Henric's mutant powers were inspired by a character that I wrote as part of a fiction writing contest in my first year of high school. For some of you that is secondary school.

3. Izabella's looks in her first appearance in the story was brought about thanks to writing the chapter while my fiance watched some Dungeons and Dragons movie knock-off.

4. Originally this story was supposed to take place in the DC Universe, but I wasn't as well versed in all the various factions of DC as I was in Marvel so I switched it up and saved DC for later.
