As Ais and Finn were killing the trees they did notice that 1 tree became 2 then those became 4 and then 8 and finally 16 it split a total of 4 times

The started killing with swords slashes and Pole thrustings when they hit a tree that couldn't split anymore a yellow crystal fell on the ground.....

Ais : Finn!!
