Eldritch Shop System

Su Ling and George went outside the Zhenqiu city to find traces of the demonic cultivators from the Nine Demons Pagoda. Fortunately, there are a few people who saw how the demonic cultivators ran amok outside the city and capturing a few people.

The people who were caught was probably the rest of Soaring Cloud Faction's disciples that were trying to escape from their hands.

With that clue, they left Zhenqiu secretly, hoping that they didn't alert those demonic cultivators.

Su Ling indignantly said "Many of them said that they went to Zhaohao. Let's go there!". She wasn't too sure if they really went there. As their faction, the Soaring Cloud Faction was located in that city.

She looked at George and said "Are you sure that you want to go to Zhaohao? It's a few days trip to get to there, you know! And.."

Before she could finished talking, George simply said "Ahaha! Donut worry! It's fine.. I never opened my potion store, so the opening could be postponed!" Actually the reason why George followed her was in order to test his potions first. I'd be bad if the potions didn't work. He needed some guinea pigs to try it first.

The trip was indeed a few days, but if you used your feet instead of flying. "Uhh.. Can't you fly?"

Su Ling looked at George like he was an idiot. "I'm only at the fourth realm, the core formation stage.. What did you expect from me?" Even though her combat ability were one of the best in the faction, her cultivation state was really low, as she preferred studying martial arts rather than cultivating her minds.

George didn't know that she was only at the third realm. "So.. what about i bring you there by flying? I can fly by the way.."

Su Ling looked at George in shock. "Y.. you can fly?"

George rolled both of his eyes. "Of course i can!"

Su Ling wanted to accept his proposal, but remembered something. With a frown she asked "Y.. you are shameless!"

Huh?! What's happening?

George looked at her in confusion. As Su Ling saw his dumbfounded face, she added. "You are going to take advantage of it and touch my forbidden place, aren't you?"

Ah?! Is this what they call a Deja Vu? More of this f*cking forbidden place b*llshit!!

George once again rolled his eyes. "Hmph! If you don't want it, then bye! I'll go there by myself and destroy the pagoda by myself!"

"I must sacrifice something, in order to get the other thing!!" she thought.

Because of that fiasco, the journey was very awkward and silent. George was in charge of flying and carrying Su Ling in his arms, in princess style. While Su Ling give out the directions.

"There! We are nearly arrived to Zhaohao. Let's walk on feet, it was just in case that those demonic cultivators will ambush us while we were flying." Said Su Ling, but in reality she just don't want to get seen being carried away by an unknown man, furthermore he's a handsome one in a very strange positions. If it was seen by her fellow disciple, she might as well just buried herself in shame.

George nodded and released her from his hand. And they continued walking to Zhaohao. They completely arrived at the city of Zhaohao in just half a day. If they actually went there by flying, it's probably only ten hours.

When they arrived, Su Ling was terrified by what she just seen. The faction that she and the others have lived was completely pummeled down. There's no trace of the once prosperous Soaring Cloud Faction. Even though it wasn't as prosperous as in the past, it was still one of the best faction in the Immortal Dragon Continent.

Not far away from the place that once belonged to Soaring Cloud Faction, there was a mysterious nine floored pagoda with an eerie aura surrounding it. Each floor was decorated with a lot of creepy items to accompany the eerieness of the building.

"Whoa.. so that's the Nine Demons Pagoda's base! Interesting..." Thought George. He began wondering about where should he put the wither. "Mmn.. the top is the best place right?" He smiled when he thought of that.

Meanwhile, Su Ling was on verge of tears. "T.. this.. Why?" Su Ling was terrified by what she saw. The place where she grows and where her friends at were completely destroyed.

George looked at Su Ling weirdly and asked. "Uhh.. Do you have a damaged brain or what? You said that you wanted to attack all of them by yourself? Furthermore, your cultivation state is kinda low... How do you plan to do that?!"

Su Ling nearly spat a mouthful of blood when she heard that. "Th.. this man was savage!" she thought. She nearly cried when she saw the state of her beloved Soaring Cloud Faction, but it was suppressed by George's criticism. She didn't know whenever should she get mad or should she start crying.

As George saw her silent reactions with tear falling from her face, George panicked. "Oh sh*t! Did i said it too frankly? Ah! I don't know how to deal with a crying person!! A.I. Do you know anything about that?"

「Ding! I'm an A.I., not a human, so i didn't know a thing about something insignificant such as a human emotions. But, if you want to know, maybe you should buy-」

Stop! It won't work! I bet that you wanted me to buy a book about psychology or something like that.

The A.I. created a gasp sound「Ding! How did you know?」

George: ...

"You know, you said that you didn't know a thing about emotions, but you were clearly annoyed when your promotion didn't succeed." thought George inwardly.
