Ning Lou stiffly smiled and waved her hand at Abbot He.

"He! He!" Abbot He smile back filled with sarcasm "What are waiting for? Do you want me to fetch you outside?"

Fetch me? No way! Abbot He is scary. He looked like a strict nanny in some ways and this particular nanny is in charge of distributing tasks so he couldn't be offended in Ning Lou's eyes. If she got assign with laborious task, she wouldn't be able to play with the other brothers! No play! No earnings!

But if you ask Brother Qian and the others, majority would say the High Priest was the scariest one. Only Ning Lou's thoughts geared the weird way.

"I'll go! I'll go! Wait for me!" Little Flower's voice drifted to the group of people inside. Brother Qian and the rest looked over the small window and watched Ning Lou's form running a l.a.p to enter the room again.

After making a round trip, Ning Lou appeared in front of Abbot He. Her smile filled with intention to curry favour. She fiddled with the corner of her robe.

Brother Qian and the rest saw rest acting so innocently and laughed inside.

"So is it true that you made them gamble again?" Abbot He asked looking over her form trying to search where she hid the dices.

Ning Lou felt his eyes filled with curiosity and secretly smiled, this Abbot He was trying to seized her dices and prevent her from encouraging these little boys again. Unfortunately, Ning Lou had long known that this would happen after she had notice a silhouette running off earlier while everyone was playing games.

As to where that gaming dices was hidden. Ning Lou was the only one who knows! Do you dare to strip me?

Abbot He couldn't fumble her robes because of her being a girl, he could not also reprimand her as it would reflect their lack of guidance and discipline and besides it would have no effect on this thick face. He could only throw the things this girl made like those mah-jong cards a day ago.

Where are these things coming from! Abbot He's head was full of white from overthinking. He clearly instructed those other abbots to keep an eye on this girl, but how come she's still slippery as an eel!

Abbot He didnt know that some of his friends have been bribed by Ning Lou.

Ning Lou had already known the abbots disdained for money, so she thought ways to target their hobbies instead, offering what would turn their heads.

Never mind! This girl will be gone tomorrow so he could take that time to get rid off unclean things in the temple and implement a stricter policy.

Abbot He didn't stay his gaze longer on her and returned them to the boys, "Tomorrow will be the monthly evaluation on divination. All of you are required to go down the mountain and gain experiences. Your Brother Qian will lead and you must listen to him."

Then he glanced at Ning Lou and repeated, "All of you are required to go!" he thought Ning Lou would complained because her going down means interrupting her from sabotaging the apprentices' minds, but contrary to his expectations Ning Lou had a blinding smile blooming on her face.

"Really Abbot, even I am permitted to go?" Ning Lou asked quite surprised at the turn of events. She had long planned in her mind that she would sneak out of this place after saving a decent amount of money, but who knew a heaven sent opportunity would arrive. For this, how could she not be happy!

"Yes. High Priest Zhang consented." Abbot He nodded, however he started to have a nagging feeling that something would happen and thus added, "You better behave and listen to Qian."

Ning Lou nodded. This one will listen to Brother Qian. Isn't it just listening? I will lend my ears to him but as for complying….he….he...

I'm afraid, It's Brother Qian who will need listen to Little Flower.

Brother Qian who only looked at the surface accepted Abbot He's orders, "Don't worry mentor, I will take care of them."

"Good. Then this one will leave you to prepare your things." Abbot He nodded however his head was preoccupied by some nibbling premonition.

His steps faltered on his way to the exit and couldn't help but looked over them. The scene of the boys enthusiastically fiddling with their robes and talking to each other came to his mind, and he didn't know what was bothering him restless.

"Brother Qian, are we really going to the town?" Ning Lou asked after seeing them getting all energetic.

If only Abbot He would have some prediction skills to see the future, he would have kept our protagonist Ning Lou from meeting her kinfolks using all his efforts, but alas, tomorrow seemed to be ordained by the heavens, marking the start of the establishment of the Beggar Sect.
