Jinlong was unresponsive and only watched them like he was not the subject of their mockeries. He stretched his foot and drew a line between him and the group of thugs. "Don't come across the line and leave." His voice was sombre but carried chills in the hearts of the listener.

"Hahahahahahahaha!" The leader laughed at his words. "What did he say? Don't cross the line?! That's ridiculous! There's no part of this kingdom Laozi can't go, even it's the palace those half-men wouldn't be able to stop Laozi!"

"I say boss, his clothes looks expensive. How about we strip him and sell it." One guy had eyed the man's embroidered robe since he showed up and his eyes shone with greed.

Ning Lou hadn't gotten over her thoughts and ignored the leader and his men. The presence of the bunch of extras didn't amount to a percentage of the man in front. He was only standing but he continuously exuded trepidation among the onlookers.

The men nodded and strode disregarding the silent block of wood named Jinlong.

Jinlong observed the approaching thug's foot from the corner of his eyes.

"Scurry away spineless chicken!" The thug tried to place one hand on Jinlong's shoulder to push him away but what he touched was only air before he saw the world turned upside down.

Jinlong didn't even move an inch but the man was sent to the leader's feet fainting on the spot. His weapon was thrown on one corner a few feet away from his body and nearly hit one of their members.

"What just happened?" The leader only saw his subordinate got flung like a sack in front of him but he didn't caught movements from the man. So how and what had happened in that split second.

His men looked at each other but only saw confusion in each other's eyes.

Jinlong stared at the part of the line that was marked with the thug's sole and returned his sight on the remaining men. "Don't cross the line again and leave. This is my final warning!"

"How did he do that?" One of the women that was terrified of the crowd earlier had hid within the lantern's stall and saw how Jinlong had dealt with the guy without even moving. She didn't see anything but his bearing was enough for her to conclude that it was the man's doing.

"He looks so dashing and heroic." The ladies heart had settled down a lot so watching as scene of someone's saving the damsel in distress like those they read in their past time made them praised the man's courage and looks.
