Chapter 5939: Devouring

The Liu descendants felt despair but in reality, this was decided the moment their clan was branded. The fact that they persisted until now spoke volumes of their tenacity and luck.

“You need not despair.” Someone patted the boss’ shoulder and said.

The boss jolted and looked back to see a young man in the prime of his life. He had a cloth-wrapped iron sword tied to his back and a yellow dog, looking rather obedient.

Who else could this be but Li Qiye?

No one wanted to help because the descendants were surrounded. To assist them was suicidal, pushing themselves and their sects into the pits of despair since helping descendants of sinners would brand them as well.

This youth came out of nowhere and entered the battlefield. No one saw how he got there.

“Who are you?” Crimson Tiger Inspector became confused since they had the whole area barricaded. No one could get in or out without them noticing.

“Just passing by.” Li Qiye smiled.

“We are dealing with descendants of sinners, do not interfere or we will not show mercy!” Crimson Tiger shouted.

“I know.” Li Qiye yawned and waved dismissively: “Leave if you want to live.”

“You’re courting death!” Crimson Tiger’s expression soured.

The crowd was left speechless in astonishment. The descendants of the Liu couldn’t believe their eyes either.

A few hundred inspectors led by Crimson Tiger could take down weaker sects. However, the flood tiger ate them with incredible speed in just a few seconds.

“Kill it!” This sudden change prompted the twins to return from space.

“Fusion Stacks!” The two roared and their staffs smashed into each other, becoming a single entity.

It suddenly separated again and as they pulled apart, a new dimension appeared in between. A total of nine thousand azures descended, causing the ground to sink from the pressure.

“Fuck!” Spectators screamed in horror, not wanting to be reduced to meat paste. They were sure that this would put an end to the tiger since it could kill another pseudo-emperor.

“Bam!” The opposite occurred - the tiger destroying the azure with just one swipe.

The twins couldn’t believe it and decided to leave posthaste.

“Ra!” They retreated with lightning speed but the tiger was ten times faster.

It struck the twins’ chest, breaking their bones and sending them to the ground. They vomited blood profusely and couldn’t get up before being stomped by the tiger.

“Ahh!” Half of their bones were broken at this point.
