Chapter 6176: Make It A Brilliant Death

“Ahh!” Immortal Suppressor screamed as he stood up, attempting to gather his flesh together. This was agonizing since pieces were stuck with spatial fragments.

Nevertheless, the top primal ancestor persevered and healed back to normal. Others would be grievously injured or dead but he miraculously recovered.

“You showed mercy, Dao Brother?” The pale cultivator asked Li Qiye.

“If I kill you before you can show off your strongest skills, it would be a broken promise.” Li Qiye smiled.

Others took a deep breath. The greatest talent and ability or even miracles - all were useless. Certain doom awaited.

This was difficult for the crowd to accept. Fear took over their throat first, suffocating them before moving to their heart and mind.

“Like a cat playing with a mouse?” Someone shuddered.

A mouse could run with all of its strength but in the end, it would only delay the inevitable of becoming food. This situation seemed familiar.

“Are you someone who can just sit still and await death?” Li Qiye asked with a smile.

Their conversation sparked contemplation among the crowd, especially the older desolate gods and emperors.

They had two potential endings - dying in battle or dying in a grotto regardless of their attempt at life prolongment. No one could change this.

The latter was one of loneliness. No one would be there with them due to the distraction.

“I suppose this isn’t so bad after all! A glorious death over dying quietly.” Immortal Suppressor laughed.

The young ones didn’t feel this deeply, only the older members of the crowd. They had lived a life full of glory and grandeur. What about spending their last moment in a cave somewhere?

So fighting gloriously and shedding blood on the battlefield or dying in a cave, unknown to all? Both led to death so which one was more worthwhile?

“Not everyone can die a glorious death.” Li Qiye said: “They must encounter someone who can make it happen.”

“You’re right, Dao Brother. Finding a rival who you can fight to your heart’s content is hard enough, let alone finding someone who can kill you in one blow at this level. Hahaha, I have done my share of killing before, I will fear death no longer!” Immortal Suppressor said excitedly.

The crowd listened and wondered if they could face death without fear as well. A glorious death didn’t sound so bad at this point.

“I am envious because I’m afraid I will never experience such a death.” Li Qiye smiled.
