"It's called a Calling Pendant."

"Calling Pendant?"

The three of them, along with Mino's best friend, Kai, who was resting on his bed were in Mino's private residence. Yoan and Hilia immediately questioned Mino what they stumbled upon moments ago, with the mysterious floating pendant.

It was a pendant only prominent in among those who lived close to the kingdom and the main town. It was a pendant created by an unknown craftsman, solely used in communicating with others across the land of Aeriola. The only message left behind by the unknown craftsman before he passed on was simply…"I'm tired of seeing everyone's ugly faces, aren't you?"

Till this day, the message he left behind for his genius invention left many baffled, irked and amused.

"Froiset. Mino."

The Calling Pendant appeared in front of Mino yet again, hovering.

"Tesiorf. Mino."

The pendant turned into a ball of light, zooming right back into Mino's chest.

"This pendant can be used to communicate with anyone, anywhere in the land of Aeriola. You'll be able to buy it easily from any store in the town, but it might be rather expensive for those people living in the outskirts."

"It must be such a handy item to have." Hilia mused out loud and Yoan nodded along, impressed.

Mino smiled, "it is essential to many from here. If you are interested, you can visit the various stores selling it in our marketplace, they'll provide a better explanation and directions on how to use it. However...it might not be wise to visit the marketplace at this moment."

"You made us wanted criminals." Yoan narrowed his eyes at Mino.

"You shot the bullet, I only simply loaded the gun." Mino quipped, still smiling, and Yoan frowned at his words, unable to comprehend it.

Yoan wasn't the type of person to catch onto riddles, cryptic words or sentences and he didn't bother to understand them either.

"So why involve us in your affairs? And why didn't you warn us beforehand?" Hilia asked, mildly annoyed.

"Warning you wouldn't make a difference, you were already involved our affairs ever since you agreed to deliver the package," Mino answered Hilia, pointing towards Yoan's bag which held the package. "I am deeply sorry, we truly need all the help we can get currently."

All the help they can get? What is that supposed to mean?

Hilia thought to herself.

"All the help you can get? What are you saying?" Yoan voiced out the same exact thoughts and Mino opened his mouth to answer when Kai bolted awake all of a sudden, startling the three of them.
