Why is classical Chinese so concise that many people can't understand it?

This requires constant refinement of the text, and also requires reflecting one's thoughts and realm in the text.

This is the origin of the saying "literature conveys the Way".

These things are all concentrated essence, so why are they considered dross?

For example, the Thirty-Six Stratagems in military strategy, Sun Tzu's Art of War, and so on—these things can be applied in war or in struggle.

These are all invaluable guidelines held by many; are they really dross?

The old man shook his head:

"Of course not!"

He Yuzhu continued:

"That's it, so there's no such thing as feudalism or dross, as for talking about gods and ghosts."

That's a religion, just like Catholicism, Islam, Christianity, and other denominations abroad.

It's so beautiful and developed, but they also have religious sects. How come foreign monks can chant scriptures?
