The two of them remained in their room, stuck in a dilemma. Luckily, their roommates had already gotten up and gone out for breakfast, otherwise they would have been in a real mess.

Meanwhile, Zicomo and Hermione were taken to Snape's office.

"How long will the effects of your potion last?" Snape asked Hermione.

He had a slight hope that Harry would never turn back, but he was clearly overthinking it.

Hermione isn't capable of arguing to that extent.

“I don’t know, Professor. My cousin helped me refine this recipe,” Hermione answered truthfully.

Snape looked at Zicomo, who shrugged, indicating he didn't know either.

"Don't look at me. This medicine was used directly on the two of them as soon as it was made. I don't know how effective it is."

"Let me see the recipe."

“Ahem, this recipe is Hermione’s.” Zicomo raised his hand and rubbed his index finger and thumb together.

The meaning is clear: you have to pay more.

It wouldn't matter if it was his own recipe, after all, Snape and he were master and apprentice.

But this recipe was Hermione's idea; he only improved it a bit, so he still had to fight for the necessary benefits for Hermione.

For no other reason than to catch a glimpse of the two of them.
