Harry perked up and asked, "How did you die back then?"

"I don't know, I only saw a pair of big yellow eyes, and then I lost consciousness."

Myrtle's answer disappointed Harry somewhat. Although he knew that Myrtle's death was related to the Basilisk, he still didn't know who the real culprit was.

The next day, Harry brought his diary to everyone.

Good heavens, he and Dumbledore had been lying in wait in the Chamber of Secrets for so long, but Voldemort just delivered himself right to their doorstep?!

"Where did you get this diary?" Zicomo asked.

"Found it in the washroom, the one with Myrtle. Zicomo, do you know its owner?"

"Well, of course, you know him too. But now is not the time to talk about that. I'll take this diary with me first. I'll explain anything to you when I get back."

Zicomo planned to take the diary directly to Dumbledore, but to be on the safe side of Voldemort's next move, Zicomo stored the diary in his system space.

Watching Zicomo's hurried departure, everyone looked at each other in bewilderment; it was the first time they had ever seen Zicomo in such a rush.

Upon arriving at the principal's office, Zicomo suddenly realized that he didn't seem to have the password.

However, this was not a problem for him. He could try all the common desserts, candies, and juices found in the wizarding world, and one of them would surely be the right one.

"Iced lemonade, sizzling honey, and a swarm of cockroaches?"

Finally, the steps leading to the principal's office slowly rose.

"Okay, this time it's a pile of cockroaches."

He simply couldn't understand what those wizards were thinking, who made chocolates in the shape of cockroaches and even gave them the ability to move.

Upon entering the office, Zicomo saw Dumbledore slacking off—or more accurately, touching his phoenix.

"Is this what you usually do?" Zicomo joked.

"It's not even time for work yet. More than that, I'm curious how you got in."

"Let's take the stairs."

Zicomo shrugged, making a joke about Jade, but unfortunately no one here knew it.

"Alright, what do you want? Did you run into a tree like a rabbit?"

"No, the rabbit didn't come, but Harry did find a wolf."

Zicomo also used a metaphor to say this.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Dumbledore didn't understand what Zicomo meant.

Instead of answering directly, Zicomo looked around and asked, "Do you have any magic here to prevent others from escaping? If so, please use it."

Dumbledore, filled with doubt, followed Zicomo's instructions and activated the protective magic in the headmaster's office.

Feeling uneasy, Zicomo added a space-isolating spell to the room.

Then he pulled out Tom's... [illegible] ticket from the system space... [illegible]

Dumbledore took it and saw the name on the cover.

"Tom..."

Upon seeing the familiar name, Dumbledore was overwhelmed with emotion.

“You haven’t forgotten who he is, have you?” Zicomo asked.

"Of course, after all, I was the one who brought him into Hogwarts. It seems you also know his current name."

"Voldemort."

"Yes, so is there something wrong with his old diary?"

Although Dumbledore noticed something unusual about the diary, he hadn't yet considered the possibility of it being a Horcrux.

"This is not just a simple diary; it is also a part of our senior Tom's soul."

"You mean?" Dumbledore thought of that possibility.

"That's right, Horcruxes."

Seeing that Dumbledore didn't speak, Zicomo assumed that Dumbledore still didn't quite believe him.

So he added, "If you don't believe me, you can try talking to him; all you have to do is write on it."

Dumbledore naturally believed it, but he still decided to give it a try.

He picked up a pen and wrote on it: "Hello, Tom".

The ink stains were quickly absorbed by the diary, and new handwriting emerged.

"Hello, whoever found this notebook."

Dumbledore then wrote: "Tom, I am Dumbledore."

Voldemort: ? ? ?

How did this diary suddenly end up in Dumbledore's hands?

As Voldemort's first Horcrux, its technology was not very mature.

He cannot clearly sense the outside world unless someone holds a diary and opens their heart to him.

Before that, he only felt that the diary seemed to have been thrown away and then picked up by someone else.

So he was also thinking about whether he could bewitch the person who found the diary.

I never expected it to be Dumbledore. He should have realized it sooner. Who would greet the original owner of a blank diary?

"What do you plan to do now?" Zicomo asked.

"This diary must be destroyed."

"That's easy, a single 'Fiery Spell' will solve the problem."

As he spoke, Zicomo pulled out his wand and prepared to cast a spell.

“My child, I must warn you, the 'Fiercefire Curse' is a very dangerous spell; if it gets out of control, it will burn everything.” Dumbledore quickly stopped him.

He was terrified that Zicomo would burn down along with his office.

"Okay, let's try another method."

Zicomo waved to the Sorting Hat and took out the Gryffindor sword from it.

Since he became affiliated with the school, he has been able to wield Gryffindor's sword at will.

He took out a bottle of basilisk venom and poured it onto the sword.

The Gryffindor sword quickly absorbed the venom, and by then it had acquired the venom of the basilisk.

Zicomo approached the diary and plunged his sword into it.

With a piercing scream, a plume of black mist emerged from the diary.

The black fog dissipated, and the diary fell silent.

"All done?" Dumbledore asked.

"Of course, the matter has been roughly clarified. We don't know which young wizard Voldemort bewitched to release the Basilisk to harm people. Fortunately, those who were attacked all indirectly saw the Basilisk's eyes," Zicomo concluded.

Dumbledore deeply sympathized, thankfully no one was killed this time.

I just don't know where Voldemort's other Horcruxes are.

"How many more Horcruxes like these do you think he has left?" Dumbledore asked with some concern.

"Who knows? Maybe you should have asked him earlier."

Zicomo did not provide an answer; of course he knew how many there were, and even what they were.

But he couldn't explain how he knew, so he simply said he didn't know.

Zicomo changed the subject, saying, "I think you should be more concerned about how to deal with those board members."

"The news that there is a basilisk at Hogwarts has already reached the Daily Prophet, and many parents are criticizing you, the headmaster, for your inaction."

"And Draco didn't go home for the Christmas holidays this year, which means Lucius didn't have time to spend Christmas at home. Do you think he went to join the other board members to impeach you for the position of principal?"

"In my opinion, your suspension order will be delivered to your door in a few days."

Dumbledore hadn't expected Zicomo to be so thoughtful, even considering this aspect of the situation.
