Besides, the child doesn't have any bad intentions; he's just picked up his father's bad habits through constant exposure.
Chapter Seventy-Four: Lucius's Plans, Lani's New Wand
After Zicomo left, Draco fell into deep thought.
Lucius took a while to recover.
When he came to his senses, he found that his back was soaked with cold sweat.
"Draco! You never told me there was such a person at Hogwarts!"
He growled at Draco, somewhat losing his composure.
The pressure from that little girl was even more terrifying than when the Dark Lord was angry.
“Father, that girl isn’t a Hogwarts student,” Draco said weakly.
"Then she is?"
"The man next to her is her fiancée."
Lucius recalled the conversation, noting that Draco had indeed used "he" instead of "they" when referring to Gryffindor.
And what did he hear?
That girl is the fiancée of the boy who was just next to her.
Judging from the situation just now, the girl was indeed the one who dominated the boys.
Merlin's beard... the real mastermind is actually this guy.
I've never heard of these two in the Twenty-Eight Holy Blood Families.
Wait a minute, judging from the boy's appearance, he seems to be of East Asian descent.
Hiss! The ancient Eastern country that eight nations, together with their respective mystical forces, couldn't break into back then?
In an instant, countless thoughts flashed through Lucius's mind.
After a long silence, he slowly spoke: "Draco, what's your relationship with that classmate from earlier?"
“It’s alright, I haven’t provoked him.” Draco knew what his father was worried about.
"Phew, that's good. You can try to get to know him better in the future."
A glint of light flashed in Lucius's eyes.
Clearly, he wasn't as loyal to Voldemort as he usually appeared.
He wanted to find a way out for himself, or rather, for his son.
The Ministry of Magic has been conducting several searches for contraband every day lately, and it's clear that these searches are targeting former Death Eaters.
This forced him to sell many of the dark magic items in his home.
He vaguely sensed that the Dark Lord was about to return.
He's now having Draco and Zicomo cultivate a good relationship, hoping they'll lend a hand to his family at a crucial moment.
Few of these large families are truly working for Voldemort.
The reason they joined the Death Eaters in the first place was simply because Voldemort's ideology aligned with the interests of these large families.
Although they talk about the supremacy of pure blood all the time, they can only fool their children.
To put it bluntly, they don't want wizards from Muggle families to encroach on their interests in the wizarding world.
Now that Voldemort has fallen, he wants to make a comeback.
Most former Death Eaters have adopted a wait-and-see attitude.
Of course, there are exceptions, such as some who are truly loyal to Voldemort.
Most of these people are still imprisoned in Azkaban.
Lucius, too, was unsure whether Voldemort could succeed again.
So he wanted to find a way out for his family.
Clearly, Zicomo is a very good choice.
Zicomo had no idea that Lucius had such a well-thought-out plan.
He's taking Lani to get her wand now.
The group of women surrounding Lockhart hadn't dispersed yet, meaning Mrs. Molly and the others were still in line for autographs.
Zicomo was too lazy to wait there any longer; he disliked noisy places anyway.
"Welcome, oh, it's you, little wizard."
Hearing someone enter, Ollivander instinctively spoke up, only to find Zicomo when he looked up.
“Yes, Mr. Ollivander. We’ve come to retrieve the wand.” Zicomo nodded.
"Okay, your wand is finished. I'm sure it's the most perfect piece of work I've ever made."
Ollivander exclaimed in admiration, then took a box from under the counter and handed it to Zicomo.
Zicomo took it and opened the box facing Lani.
The golden staff now features white patterns thanks to the addition of Moonfox feathers.
At the same time, it adds a touch of restraint to the gold color, preventing it from giving off a gaudy or ostentatious feel.
“It looks pretty good, shall we give it a try?” Zicomo suggested.
Lani raised her wand, and magic surged into it, condensing into a fist-sized dark moon at the tip.
Ollivander watched from the sidelines, breaking out in a cold sweat.
He could clearly sense that the energy contained within that small dark moon was enough to destroy half of his shop.
Good heavens, is this really a little wizard going to Hogwarts?
He quickly spoke up: "Ahem, I wonder if the guests are satisfied?"
"good."
Lani isn't the kind of person who can't read between the lines.
Seeing Ollivander's nervous expression, she flicked her wrist and dispersed the Dark Moon.
Of course, her assessment was also true.
I'm used to using the Scepter of Caria, a top-tier wand from the borderlands.
The wand in her hand could only be considered of a high level at best.
Seeing that it was almost time, I guessed Hermione had already gotten her autograph.
Zicomo thanked Ollivander and left the wand shop.
On the way, Zicomo suggested, "Why don't we give the wand a name?"
"Hmm, shall we call it 'The King's Golden Branch'?"
Lani made a rare joke.
But Zicomo almost didn't hear it.
Because the name has a borderland feel to it.
"How about we call it the 'Golden Staff'?"
Zicomo was afraid she would come up with some other strange name.
"Ah."
And that's how the name of the wand was decided.
Back at Flourish and Blotts, Hermione excitedly ran up to Zicomo and showed him the autograph she had gotten.
She's a total fangirl.
Fortunately, she didn't go crazy like Mrs. Molly.
He took the complete set of books Lockhart had given Harry and signed every single one of them.
..... ....... ...
Lani curled her lip in disdain: "She usually seems pretty smart, I really don't know why she was fooled by a conman."
Hermione frowned and asked, "What do you mean?"
"Literally, do you really think that peacock in the story is someone who has experienced so many adventures and journeys?"
Lani, using Zicomo's description of Lockhart, asked Hermione a question in return.
“You’re talking nonsense. How could all those amazing experiences in the book be fake?” Hermione retorted.
Lani was too lazy to argue with Hermione anymore.
This is the same as you going to talk badly about your idol to those fans.
You said those celebrities have some bad points.
