I feel like anyone could see my "suicide note," and I can't delete it. What should I do? I need help urgently!

Should I blow up the server warehouse?

I feel honored to be the first Yapool to go to the Land of Light. To be honest, I had the illusion of entering a lion's den.

Scared.

Mother of Ultra is amazing. I only have Momo left, and she can save me. If Ultraman can save Yapool, I'd be the first person in the universe to do so, haha.

Hikari wasn't silent at all when participating in the research; I thought she would be a quiet person. However, the Yapool's technological level is about the same as the Land of Light, so communication with them is only of reference value.

I'm more worried about the location of his lab—what if such an obvious place gets attacked? There are so many tools that could cause a huge mess if taken out!

Hikari gave me a knightly aura, making me forget that he's a scientist who can fight monsters.

That's scary. Hmm... there are so many Ultraman outside, so... everything should be alright... right?

I've seen Father of Ultra's horns before, but seeing them again... I still want to touch them. I wonder if they feel the same as the horns on the headbands people make at the "Father of Ultra's Advent Festival".

Ace... I'm outta here, stay away from him. Don't ask, I'm just scared.

Captain Sakurai knew Zoffy! I'm so glad I got back to GUYS Research Lab. Now I can finally focus on my old job without worry!

Also, it turns out that even the bodies created by the Land of Light lose their hair?

Mother of Ultra said this body is very reliable, but the simulation of an Earthling is too good. I lost a lot of hair while washing my hair today. I don't want to end up like Chief Engineer Yamamuro!

Hmm... I still haven't found Samuel today. The Land of Light also said they haven't seen him since that battle.

I'm so worried. What if the aggregate of resentment does something? Like, transforming into something else? Ugh! What a jinx!

I've decided. When he gets back, I'll teach him how to grow vegetables! No, I mean, flowers!

Cultivate one's character.

Ah, I'll stop thinking nonsense; I still have research to do.

Troublesome! Ryu and the others keep saying they want to send a gift to Mebius, but they can't use the Ultra Warriors' human car; they want to be able to "whoosh" appear in the Land of Light and give Mebius a surprise.

Millions of light-years away, how are we supposed to get things there? We need to develop space travel technology... You bunch of unrealistic idiots!

Headache.

Ending

Ultraman Mebius is one of my favorite Ultraman series, and it has a lighthearted atmosphere. I got tired of reading the books that started with Ultraman Tiga, so I said, "Volume 1? Then let's go with Ultraman Mebius."

Throughout the entire series, besides the focus on the friendship between GUYS and Mebius, the episode that touched me the most was the one where Sakami met Zoffy.

If it's just about Ultraman defeating monsters, then it becomes a one-man hero movie. Human dreams and efforts are an indispensable part, and I need to include the efforts of people outside the Japanese branch from a broader perspective.

I joined the rescue team, which offers a perspective on how an "ordinary person" views a series of events in the show. It also carries the task of helping Samuel, this blockhead, learn to "save" (you who joined the combat team have read many books, and in most cases the protagonist doesn't get involved).

The initial plan was indeed that Estend would die, but when I wrote about Samuel cradling him as he lay dying, I couldn't continue. Because Samuel had told Estend, "You won't die," many times. So Samuel couldn't possibly watch Estend disappear; he would do everything in his power to fulfill his promise.

Therefore, he chose to give up escaping the dimensional storm stirred up by the aggregate of resentment, and at the critical moment, he dug out Estend's "Grey Grey" from the aggregate and threw it out, so that Mother of Ultra could give him a "Great Resurrection Spell".

In a sense, this was also a choice that Samuel made himself (laughs), successfully rewriting the script I had written (tearing up the script, tearing it up, tearing it up while writing).

The next volume will be about Nexus, and an "old friend" will appear, um... the guy who looks familiar in the synopsis.

The story, which began with the weapons of the Apol people, is now being recounted, along with its origins.

Thank you for reading this far.

I'm already happy that someone is reading my flopping book.

I'll keep all book reviews except for those with personal attacks or insults. If you have any complaints, just say so, it's no problem. If you can't even handle this much, why are you writing web novels? Tell me what kind of content you'd like more of in terms of narrative, or what kind of content you'd like to see.

This is the first book I've serialized; I used it as practice.

Of course, I'm unlikely to make any changes to the main plot or writing style (I don't expect to make a living from writing books; it's just a hobby, like playing games).

Volume Two - River of Oblivion - NEXUS

Foreword

"Let me tell you some simple truths."

“If this foolish little universe of man is accustomed to seeing itself as a whole, then I am a part of that part, that part that was originally everything, the part of darkness, which produced light, but the proud light now competes with Mother Night for ancient status and for space.”

"But it never succeeded, because no matter how hard it tried, it always clung tightly to various objects. Light flowed out of the objects, making them beautiful, but then an object blocked its way; so I believe that it will not be long before it perishes along with the objects."

"...rat, mouse, fly"

"Owner of frogs, bedbugs, and lice, I now command you: come out boldly and gnaw at this threshold!"

—Faust

Chapter One: I Am a Guest in the Human World

Do you believe what you see with your own eyes?

Human cognition is limited, either by one's own experiences or by external conditions; information weaves a cocoon for each person.

Most people are willing to believe what is placed inside the cocoon.

When the cocoon breaks open, they become like pupae exposed to the elements.

Some people can transform into butterflies, while others remain cold and vulnerable in the wind and rain.

But only a minority transform into butterflies.

TLTs are a group that protects the cocoons.

The scenery they face, the things they encounter with ordinary people, represent two worlds, one inside and one outside.

Inside the cocoon, life goes on step by step, with occasional ups and downs, but nothing more than career setbacks, academic difficulties, birth, aging, illness, death, and the mundane necessities of life.

Outside the cocoon, unknown fears slither like snakes, and occasionally you can see chilling scales flashing by in some corner.

It's as if we're forever in the dark, forever in the desolate, stormy night. Life and death are always so easy, and parting is always so sudden.

On a snowy winter night, amidst the sounds of Christmas carols.

His cherry blossoms have withered.

From then on, half of his soul went to the underworld, and the other half remained in the human world.

……

Samuel closed his diary.

Its owner is still asleep in this body.

Jun Sakuma.

He belongs to the Third Base of TLT Japan Branch and his profession is a memory police officer.

After Samuel was drawn into another dimension by the Yapool's "aggregate of resentment," another battle ensued, with the aggregate of resentment shattering a void passage.

Spatial turbulence cut into his body, and Samuel looked around, seeing only a dark and distorted landscape.

His severe injuries left him with no way to escape. He drifted inside for an unknown amount of time before finally sensing a familiar aura.

He instinctively moved closer to the source of the aura.

When he looked down, he saw only a cold corpse.

The little girl in the white dress sat to the side as if speechless, her dark eyes staring at him.

Can you save him?

The little girl didn't speak, but Samuel found hope in her eyes.

Of course, I can save people.

The silver light merged into the cold body.

The pale hand moved, and the ashen-gray flesh gradually regained its vitality.

Before his body temperature had returned to normal, Jun Sakuma used his still somewhat stiff hands to prop himself up, sitting halfway up, and looked at the silent child.

"Dad, let's go home."

The child's voice is like light cream on a cake.

In the distance, several dark figures blended into the night and approached.

"The alien beast vibrations have weakened; they've escaped." A clear female voice said, the owner of which stared at the instrument strapped to her arm.

The shadowy figure raised something and pointed it at itself.

"Click," the sound of a gun being cocked.

A thinner, dark figure approached, crouched down warily, and opened the thin leather notebook that had fallen at his feet.

"Hmph," the stern-faced woman raised her head, her dagger-like gaze piercing him: "You saw an alien beast? Memory Police, do you want us to find someone to erase your memories?"

……

"Beep beep, beep beep beep—"

Samuel retrieved his diary and picked up his vibrating cell phone from the table.

"Your vacation ends tomorrow, remember to report back." A woman's voice said in a measured tone.
