"Hahaha." Everyone couldn't help but laugh when they saw Ueno's pained expression.

After waiting a while longer, Kyoichi and Shin, along with Musenri and the others, finally arrived late.

"Sorry, I'm late."

Seeing that everyone was present, Coach Xinhe coughed lightly and gave A Liang a look.

"Ahem, Ah Liang."

"Understood, Coach." Seeing Coach Xinhe's gaze, A Liang's expression turned serious, and he picked up the whistle hanging around his neck and blew it.

"Beep!"

"Everyone gather together, line up, and stand in a row, with half a meter between each other in all directions."

"Yes."

At the command, everyone quickly assembled and formed a team.

Ueno and the others, who had already joined the basketball club, stood in the front row.

"Coach, everyone is assembled." Seeing the team in order, A Liang quickly called out to Coach Xinhe.

"Ah."

Nodding, Coach Xinhe walked in front of the group with his hands behind his back.

"Hello everyone, I am your coach. You can just call me Coach Xinhe."

"Hello, Coach Xinhe."

Everyone said in unison.

"Ah."

"Joining the basketball club is actually very simple; you just need to pass our assessment."

Upon hearing about the assessment, the new recruits all looked troubled.

Most of them were just doing it on a whim; very few of them actually knew how to play basketball, and even fewer truly loved it.

Looking at the group of newcomers, Coach Xinhe had already guessed what was going on, and continued speaking without changing his expression.

"As you can all see, our basketball team has made it to the finals and is now vying for the championship." Coach Xinhe paused, carefully observing the expressions of the newcomers.

When the newcomers heard Coach Xinhe's words, that he was aiming for the championship, they all blushed and became extremely excited, completely losing their previous unpleasant expressions.

Coach Xinhe nodded slightly, and looking at everyone's expressions, he seemed quite satisfied.

These guys still have some passion.

"Alright, enough with the small talk. Let me briefly explain what the assessment will cover."

There are three assessment criteria in total.

"The first thing is the basic knowledge of basketball and basic dribbling."

As soon as Coach Xinhe finished speaking, Saori walked over with a stack of test papers.

As soon as Coach Xinhe announced the first assessment item, most of the freshmen immediately looked grim.

"We also have to take a test on basic basketball knowledge?"

"I...I don't know how to do this!"

Looking at the troubled faces of the freshmen, Coach Xinhe couldn't help but sigh helplessly. He straightened his expression and spoke.

"Of course, you only need to pass the first assessment."

"Saori, distribute them to them."

"Yes, Coach Xinhe."

Saori gave each person a test paper and then took out pens from her small backpack to distribute to everyone.

As Saori handed out the test papers, Coach Shinha glanced at the new recruits and said softly, "The test will last fifteen minutes."

The test he set up was very simple; it was just some basic common sense.

Ueno and the others, who had already joined the company, stood quietly to the side and watched.

"Hehehe, luckily I joined the club a long time ago." Standing aside, watching the new members sitting cross-legged on the ground starting their tests, Kamijou Ichi felt a little smug.

Seeing their pained expressions and inability to figure it out, he couldn't help but chuckle.

After glancing at Shangjingyi, Xin spoke up to remind him.

"Kyoichi, today is the new member induction ceremony, you'd better keep a low profile."

"Oh."

Upon hearing this, Shang Jing subconsciously glanced at Coach Xinhe, but fortunately, Coach Xinhe's gaze was fixed on the rookie test and he didn't look at them.

Fifteen minutes passed quickly.

After Saori collected all the test papers, Coach Shinha said, "Alright, let's move on to the dribbling test, A-Liang."

"Yes, coach."

Yagami pushed a cart full of basketballs over.

Ah Liang then had each of the new recruits come over one by one for a dribbling test.

The dribbling tests of these newcomers were, to put it mildly, so-so.

The rookies are all doing pretty well at dribbling in place.

As for dribbling while running, it's been nothing short of hilarious.

Basketballs were rolling everywhere on the basketball court.

After everyone had tested their dribbling skills, Coach Xinhe continued.

"The second test is a physical test."

As he spoke, Coach Xinhe glanced at A Liang.

Ah Liang nodded and quickly jogged out of the group.

"Alright, so new members, line up and take off your shirts."

"Take off your clothes?"

"You want me to take off my clothes? This,..."

Upon hearing A-Liang's words, the new members of the club blushed slightly and subconsciously looked at Saori standing to the side.

Compared to the blushing newcomers, Saori still had a beautiful smile on her face.

"hurry up."

Seeing their hesitant and awkward manner, Ah Liang shouted.

Finally, as the first person took off their shirt, the others followed suit.

Coach Xinhe then carefully observed and examined each of them.

After circling around, Coach Xinhe nodded silently.

The new recruits were in pretty good health; they didn't have any weird tattoos or obvious signs of illness.

There were a few very fat people in there, though.

These are minor issues; it's just fat, you can work it off with some exercise.

Chapter 147 only has two things

"Alright, the third test."

After getting the new members dressed, Coach Xinhe prepared to begin the third round of testing.

"We are conducting physical fitness tests."

Since there were no specialized testing tools, the tests were limited to basic physical fitness assessments.

For example, you can use push-ups to strengthen your arm muscles.

For explosive power, sprinting and weightlifting are the methods.

After a set of tests, the new recruits collapsed on the ground, drenched in sweat.

Many people have already started to back out.

But out of pride, he has been struggling to keep going.

"Alright, the assessment is over. You can go back now. I'll have Saori let you know tomorrow."

Upon hearing Coach Xinhe say that the assessment was over, all the new recruits breathed a sigh of relief, said goodbye to Coach Xinhe, and left.

"Yes, Coach Xinhe."

After the newlyweds leave.

Ueno and his team then began cleaning the basketball court.
