Chapter 76 Espionage Case, Peggy Carter

In the early morning of June 6, 1944, the largest amphibious landing operation in human history was launched by Allied airborne forces.

More than 2,400 transport planes dropped three airborne divisions, totaling more than 35,000 paratroopers, into the depths of the coast, more than ten kilometers away.

But back in London, a squad of American military police suddenly stormed into the suburban estate that Josie had bought less than a week ago.

"Sir, what brings you here to trespass on private property in the middle of the night?" Josie, awakened from her sleep, calmed Vito and his men, who were confronting the military police, and then asked the officer in charge.
