If his total body repair capacity is 1, then if this 1 were used entirely to repair the spine, it could be restored to its original state within one minute.

It only takes thirty seconds for him to regain control of his body.

But now, external damage has taken away at least 0.3 of the 1 to repair them.

The remaining 0.7 will require even more time to repair the spine.

And it's also uncertain whether these people will go too far as they fight.

"If only there were something to distract them so I could fix it quickly," Peter thought.

“Oh, you guys, is that all you’ve got? You think you’re so capable?” Peter tried to achieve his goal with words.

"I heard this guy loves to talk nonsense?" the leader said.

“Why don’t we just throw him in that garbage dump over there? There’s plenty of ‘trash’ there too!” another thug suggested with a twisted sense of humor.

"Great idea! Come on, lend a hand. One, two, three!"

Bang!

Peter's body was lifted up by three people and thrown into a pile of black garbage bags in a corner not far away.

“Oh, damn, this feels just like home,” Peter chuckled.

"What are you laughing at, kid?" Several thugs came up again, ready to continue toying with Peter's body.

Peter smiled and said, "It's nothing, just this!"

He raised his left hand and shot a spider silk upwards, his body following it up the wall a short distance. Then, relying on his wall-climbing ability, he stopped with his back against the wall.

"You wall-climbing bug! You think we can't do anything to you like this?" the leader of the thugs said coldly.

“No, no, I don’t doubt your abilities, sir,” Peter said, “but I have a question that I wonder if you could answer for me.”

The thugs stared coldly at Peter, seemingly pondering how to get him off the wall.

Peter said to himself, "Why are you all dressed like this? Are you trying to imitate 'Friday the 13th'? Don't you think that stuff is outdated?"

The four main characters in "Friday the 13th," "A Nightmare on Elm Street," "Halloween," and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" are known as the four classic serial killers in American film history. Jason, the protagonist of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," is depicted wearing a hockey goalie mask and wielding a machete to dismember teenagers.

The thugs in front of him were dressed almost exactly like Jason.

However, this movie was released in 1980; it's really outdated.

"Shut the hell up, you brat!" the leader of the thugs roared angrily. "If you've got the guts, get down here!"

“Okay,” Peter readily agreed and actually jumped down.

"You, you really came down?" The leader of the thugs was stunned by his action.

Peter shrugged. "Well, I have one good point: I listen to advice, unlike you guys."

As he spoke, he suddenly sprang into action.

Bang bang bang!

A series of blows rang out, and four figures fell to the ground.

"I've already said this is an old and outdated method, but they insisted on doing it this way and wouldn't listen to any advice. Look, this is the result."

Then, Peter used the transmitter in his left hand to shoot out spider silk, binding several people individually, and then binding them together again.

"This is much more fashionable now, like a pig tied up, it will never go out of style in any era."

Chapter 23 Lizard Man

"Well done, Spider-Man!"

A child's voice came from above; it turned out he had watched the whole process of Spider-Man's comeback and couldn't help but cheer for him.

Peter lightly jumped onto the window where the child was standing: "Thanks for your support, kid. Would you like to call the police?"

"Okay, Spider-Man!"

Peter waved, climbed onto the roof, and prepared to catch his breath.

Actually, his body hadn't fully recovered; he had just forced himself to finish the last set of moves.

Therefore, he needs to relax his entire body so that the repair process can be faster.

Peter found a corner to sit down, leaned his head against the wall, and silently thought about something.

He had originally planned to follow Sheriff Stacy so he could show off his skills in front of her and change his image.

But after that interruption, it's clear he lost track of them.

He now needs to figure out a way to bring Sheriff Stacy back.

at this time.

hum-

My phone, hidden in my pocket, vibrated.

Peter took out his phone and saw a message from Gwen:

I hope you're alright. Is everything alright? There was an accident at the Williamsburg Bridge.

“Williamsburg Bridge! Thanks, Gwen!” Peter realized that this was information Gwen had gathered for him in case he lost track of her.

Gwen also hopes that Peter can change Spider-Man's image in her father's mind.

Otherwise, both sides are the people she loves most—her boyfriend on one side and her father on the other, one out of romantic love and the other out of familial love.

She was caught in the middle, truly flanked by men on both sides.

Yes, it's really a difficult situation.

She actually wanted Peter to clear Spider-Man's name even more than Peter did!

Peter put his phone back in his suit pocket, stood up, and stretched.

After resting for a while, his body had indeed recovered completely.

During his break, he also figured out the problem with the web-shooter.

There was a small screw inside that was loose, causing the transmitter button to get stuck and unable to be pressed.

The problem was solved with a simple push.

But this is not the end.

Peter then adjusted a few parts of the web-shooter.

This is his experience from another world.

After slightly adjusting the parameters, the web emitter, which originally had only one firing mode, suddenly became three modes.

Peter tried firing a spider silk thread, and great, it worked as expected!

"Great, let's go!" Peter looked up, his eyes lighting up.

In the distance, a helicopter was also heading towards the Williamsburg Bridge.

"How about a ride? I'm such a clever little spider!"

Peter took a running start, then jumped high into the air, shooting out a spider silk that stuck to the bottom of the helicopter, and then nimbly hung there.

"That little incident just now wasted some time. Hopefully, it won't be too late if we get there now!"

at the same time.

On the Williamsburg Bridge in the distance, the traffic slowly came to a stop.

Niels van Lada sat in a car, feeling the vehicle come to a standstill, and appeared somewhat impatient.

He had just threatened that good-for-nothing Kurt Connors at Osborn.

He instructed Connors to send the preliminarily prepared medicine to a veterans' hospital under the guise of a flu vaccine or something similar, for secret human trials.

But that ungrateful fellow actually refused him!

There was no other way; he had to set off on his own.

He is now on his way to a veterans' hospital in Brooklyn.

But this damn traffic is completely jammed!

“Alfred, can you go and see what’s going on? When will this damn car get moving?” Niels asked, trying to sound patient.

“Yes, Doctor,” said Alfred, the driver, as he opened the door and got out.

Boom!

Not long after Alfred left, the back of the car was kissed hard, making the whole car shake.

"Oh~" Niels was somewhat speechless, "That's fantastic!"

boom!

Before he could finish complaining, a car behind him suddenly rammed into him, sending his car veering off course and crashing into the edge of the bridge.

"Hey, what's going on?!" Niels turned around and yelled angrily.
