Luo Chen angrily put his phone away, circled around a few times, and then lay down on the ground, trying to find the entrance to the base.

After searching for a long time without finding anything, Luo Chen stood up dejectedly, brushed the sand off his body, and sat on the ground to think of a solution.

"How about we just resort to forced demolition?"

Luo Chen muttered to himself, "After thinking it over, this seems to be the only way, so I've decided on it."

Luo Chen stood up, gathering all the Honkai energy around him, and his complete Susanoo stood tall in the desert.

Susanoo knelt down and punched into the desert until it hit a hard object.

After clearing the sand around the base, Luo Chen used Susanoo to cover the base's main gate, then jumped out of Susanoo and walked to the gate.

Using the card given by the gray snake to unlock the gate, Luo Chen released Susanoo, closed the door, and entered the base.

Luo Chen groped his way into the depths of the base and found a switch-like lever. Pulling it down, he heard a dull thud, and the lights inside the base switched on, revealing the interior to him.

There was a machine standing where Luo Chen was, flashing white light, and something seemed to be stored in the middle of the machine.

There were two more passages directly in front of him, and Luo Chen decided to figure out what the machine was for before continuing.

After circling the machine, Luo Chen didn't see anything resembling a control panel, which puzzled him.

"What is this thing for? It's so big."

Luo Chen tapped the machine with his fingers, his eyes fixed on the flashing lights, carefully searching every part of it.

This search actually yielded something. Luo Chen found a button in a hidden place, and with his mind highly focused, he would use his ability to vanish and escape at the slightest sign of trouble.

Pressing the button, the machine's light faded, cold air shot out from several pipes on the machine, and the layers of metal casing in the center flipped over, from which a metal box popped out.

The box was entirely black, but when Luo Chen picked it up to examine it, the patterns on it seemed to shimmer with a silvery sheen.

"What is this?"

Luo Chen fiddled with the box but couldn't see where it could be opened, so he figured there must be specific requirements to open it.

After putting the box away, Luo Chen stood at the fork in the road, looking at the two identical passages, and pondered which one to take first.

After a brief stop, Luo Chen walked into the left passage and entered the next room.

This room is not much different from the previous one, except that there is no passage to continue, and there is a metal storage compartment in the middle.

Luo Chen sensed something was off about the concentration of Honkai energy around him, so he took out his Jizo Soul and cautiously observed his surroundings. Only after confirming that there were no robots or defense systems present did Luo Chen dare to venture further in.

"No, we didn't even get to know Möbius's final fate. He might have actually won the revival match. But why isn't he mentioned in the story even though he's alive?"

Luo Chen dared not get close. Who knew if Mebius would capture him and experiment on him after he woke up? Besides, he had just taken her things. He would be lucky if she didn't kill him.

Luo Chen turned around quietly, intending to leave the room. But just as he lifted his foot, a charming and languid voice came from behind him.

"Little white mouse, where are you going?"

"Um, sir, I didn't mean to disturb your sleep."

Luo Chen turned back with a smile and spoke to Mebius in a flattering tone, his eyes turning completely gold, ready to run away at any moment.

"Wasn't it intentional? Well then, how about this: you take a look at something for me, and I'll let it go."

Mebius sat inside the metal cabin, his gray-green eyes fixed on Luo Chen, his gaze seemingly filled with nostalgia and joy. But Luo Chen was preoccupied with how to escape and didn't notice him at all.

"What can I help with? I'll try my best."

"It's not a difficult thing."

Mebius yawned, her graceful figure accentuated by her lab coat, her legs encased in black stockings, which were incredibly sexy, though Luo Chen's attention wasn't on her.

"How did Kevin and the others manage to keep this on you when it was on you?"

Mebius released Luo Chen's hand, lifted his face to meet his gaze.

The face in his mind was almost identical to the person in front of him; the only difference might be the hair color. Möbius looked at Luo Chen, his thoughts drifting away to memories of the past.

Seeing that Mebius was distracted, Luo Chen tried to break free. But this time the suppression was much stronger than the last, making Luo Chen unable to move at all, like a fish on a chopping board, completely at the mercy of others.

"Little mouse, can you do an experiment for me?"

Mebius released Luo Chen, leaned against the metal bin, and gave Luo Chen a strange smile.

Luo Chen leaned against the wall, compressing the Honkai energy in his body and transferring it to the Jizo Mitama, hoping to cleave the door open with a single strike and escape.

"What do you want to do?"

Mebius grabbed Luo Chen's hand holding the knife, took the Jizo Soul in front of him, glanced at it casually a few times, and pressed it onto Luo Chen's wrist. The Jizo Soul was transformed back into a bracelet.

Mebius picked up Luo Chen, turned off the suppression device in the room, opened the door and went to another room.

He gently placed Luo Chen on the operating table, then reached out and ran his hand through his hair, taking the black box from his body.

Mebius pressed the center of the box to open it, took out the test tubes inside, walked to the lab bench, and fiddled with the instruments on it.

A moment later, Möbius walked to Luo Chen's side with the prepared reagents and a vial of unidentified liquid, and placed the surgical instruments next to the operating table.

"Speaking of which, this seems to be the second time I've performed this surgery on you. I wonder if the stuff that's been refrigerated for so long is still useful."
