Mei was in very bad condition. Although the Herrscher of the Void had taken the gem, it was returned in time. In addition, due to her physical condition, she was only in a coma and was not in any danger to her life.

"Luo Chen, you're finally back!"

When Yuno, who was sitting by Mei's hospital bed, saw Luo Chen, she was first surprised and stood up, then ran to him and hugged him tightly, and tears finally welled up in her eyes.

"Okay, I'm back."

After calming Yuno down, Luo Chen went to Mei's side, stroked her pale cheek with his hand, and felt his heart clench when he saw the blood-stained bandages on her body.

"Is Mei alright now?"

"The Herrscher's body is still very strong. Although the Herrscher of the Void pierced through her chest, the wound has already healed."

"That's good."

Luo Chen felt relieved and asked Yuno what had just happened, his expression gradually turning grim.

"Luo Chen, Kiana, she..."

Yuno hesitated, realizing that Kiana had already been possessed by the Herrscher personality, and Theresa couldn't think of a solution either. Yuno instinctively turned to Luo Chen for help.

"Don't worry, I have a solution."

Luo Chen patted Yuno's head to reassure her, saying he would handle Kiana's matter.

Bronya is curious about your plan.

"We'll find out soon enough. Right now, all you need to do is focus on healing your injuries and stay in the Hyperion while we wait for victory."

To avoid causing them too much worry, Luo Chen smiled and said goodbye, telling them to take good care of themselves. Stepping out of the medical room, Luo Chen's smile faded, and he leaned weakly against the wall, staring blankly at the ceiling.

To be honest, he wasn't sure either. He didn't have a clear understanding of the Herrscher of the Void's strength and didn't know if he could beat her. If all else failed, he would force a one-for-one trade. Anyway, he would be fine as long as he got Himeko back.

Thinking of this, Luo Chen squatted on the ground, leaned against the wall, covered his face with his hands, and remained squatting there without moving.

After a long while, Luo Chen stood up, took one last look at the people inside through the window, and walked firmly toward the control room.

In the control room, Theresa and Einstein were only halfway through their discussion about what to do next when the Hyperion's target acquisition system sounded an alarm, and the screen showed that the Herrscher of the Void was approaching the Hyperion.

"The Herrscher of the Void has arrived."

Theresa stared intently at the small black dot outside the window. Her Moonfire Armor activated once more, and ignoring her wounds, she prepared to go out and fight the Herrscher of the Void to the death.

“Aunt Theresa, leave the Herrscher to me.”

Luo Chen entered the command room, stopped Theresa from launching an attack, and took her place.

"No! You just finished two battles..."

"It's alright, that little fight is nothing."

Luo Chen interrupted Theresa, pulled her to Einstein's side without a word, and asked her to take good care of Theresa. He then used his ethereal ability to teleport out of the control room and went directly to the bridge.

"Luo Chen!"

Theresa cried out in distress, trying to run to help Luo Chen, but Einstein grabbed her arm and stopped her.

"Dr. Einstein, what are you doing!"

“Ms. Theresa, you cannot go.”

"Why? If I don't go, Xiao Chen will die!"

"The situation is uncertain right now, and you need to take charge. Besides, your injuries haven't healed yet, and going there will only cause trouble. Also, please trust your student; if I'm not mistaken, he still has some trump cards up his sleeve."

The Herrscher of the Void flew up to the Hyperion, looking down at Luo Chen who was walking towards her. She gradually became excited, then floated down and stood on the bridge to meet his gaze.

"Should I call you the Herrscher of the Void, or Sirin?"

"You actually still remember this name? I thought you had forgotten it."

Xilin grinned, and what she said confused Luo Chen, who didn't know why she said that.

"As expected, you've already forgotten."

Luo Chen clearly saw the disappointment on Xilin's face, and only then did he realize what Xilin meant by what she had just said.

'Sirin knows me? That's impossible! How old was I when the Second Honkai Impact happened? I didn't even have all my teeth yet. Could it be that I traveled back in time?'

Luo Chen's face was almost scrunched up. This story of time travel twice could be explained in a way, but it was still somewhat absurd.

“Cirin, of course I remember you.”

Luo Chen is now trying to find out what Xilin has to say so that he can be prepared in advance if he really does travel back in time.

"Good that you remember, so I can kill you properly!"

Sirin's face contorted with rage, and a vast imaginary space enveloped the entire bridge, preventing any possibility of intrusion by others.

"Let me show you the despair of death!"

The aerial spears shot at Luo Chen relentlessly, as if they were free. Fearing she wouldn't be able to kill him, Xilin deliberately opened spatial gates around Luo Chen from all sides, creating an impenetrable barrier.

Luo Chen unleashed Susanoo to block the Void Spear, pondering how to stall until Himeko and the others brought back the God-Slaying Spear.

As Sirin looked at Susanoo, memories of the past flooded her mind, and her body involuntarily went limp.

"Why would I be afraid of him? I am a Herrscher, the destroyer of worlds, how could I be afraid of an ant?"

Sirin said self-deprecatingly, as black mist rose from her body and covered Susanoo.

It can only be said that as expected of the original owner of the gem, Sirin's black mist instantly shattered Susanoo's defenses upon contact, leaving a large hole in Susanoo.

Luo Chen was somewhat surprised; this was the first time he had felt that Susanoo was as fragile as paper. He quickly increased the supply of Honkai energy.

"You can hide inside that turtle shell and I'll slowly kill you."

Xilin intensified her efforts, and more of Susanoo was shrouded in black mist. Luo Chen simply removed Susanoo and fought the monster with his bare hands.

Luo Chen drew his Earthly Treasury Soul, his body crackling with lightning, and sped towards Xi Lin.

Sirin controlled the Void Spear to block Luo Chen's blade, then used Honkai energy to create an explosion that forced Luo Chen to retreat. As Luo Chen retreated, four Void Spears stood up beside him and exploded in succession, disrupting the rhythm of Luo Chen's attack.

Luo Chen blurred into nothingness and flashed away, marveling at Xilin's series of manipulations, and looked around to see if there was any sign of Himeko.

"Are you choosing your own place to die? Don't worry, I'll burn you to ashes."

"Then I really thank you, Sirin."

Luo Chen stood with his sword drawn, gave a nonchalant reply, and once again transformed into lightning to approach Xilin, muttering to himself...

"Himeko-neechan, come back quickly! I can't hold on any longer!"

Chapter 127 She Makes a Fiery Debut

Luo Chen used all his skills to fight Xilin, but as soon as he got close to her, Xilin would teleport away and throw out her Void Spear, making Luo Chen very embarrassed.

Having missed his target once again, Luo Chen wiped the blood from his face and pondered how to catch Xilin.

"What, you're getting impatient because you can't reach me? How pathetic."

Xilin laughed loudly, and Luo Chen's indifferent expression made her very unhappy. Her thoughts couldn't help but drift back to that snowy plain more than ten years ago.

"Your face is really annoying."

Three sub-void spears appeared above Sirin's head, emitting an orange light, and the Honkai energy within them was constantly increasing.

Xilin made a fist with her right hand, and the Void Spear flew towards Luo Chen, piercing through his body and embedding itself in the ground before exploding.

As the light from the explosion dissipated, Luo Chen stood unharmed in the same spot, his eyes flashing with golden light. He teleported behind Xilin and kicked her from the air to the ground.

Sirin adjusted her posture and landed steadily on the ground, glaring at Luo Chen through gritted teeth, as the Honkai energy within the imaginary space began to surge.

"Why, are you angry already?"

Adhering to the principle of "if you can't kill him, then you'll be driven mad with anger," Luo Chen successfully provoked Xi Lin to explode again, determined to tear him to pieces.

Sirin condensed Honkai energy, forming a sphere of light above Luo Chen's head. A beam of light shot out from it, and Luo Chen dodged it by blurring his vision. The beam of light that passed through Luo Chen continued downwards and pierced through the Hyperion's deck.

"This thing is terrifying!"

Having witnessed the power of the beam, Luo Chen dared not be careless, fearing he would be riddled with holes.

Luo Chen moved constantly on the deck, using serpentine movements to dodge the beams of light behind him, while simultaneously observing Xilin's position and guarding against her attacks.

"Run away as much as you want, but you won't be able to escape for long."

Xilin once again made a grasping motion towards the ball of light, which exploded due to Xilin's action, sending countless beams of light hurtling towards Luo Chen without any blind spots.

Seeing this, Luo Chen felt a chill run down his spine. It was definitely too late to activate Susanoo now, and he didn't know if the time for intangibility would be enough for him to escape the beam's range. If he couldn't escape, then he was doomed.

"Fine, we'll just have to give it a try."

Luo Chen activated his ethereal form, his speed continuously increasing as he charged towards Xilin with all his might.

Xilin thought Luo Chen's move was incredibly foolish, and she timed it perfectly, throwing four aerial spears at him.

Luo Chen passed through the gap between the aerial spears in an extremely absurd way. After landing, he punched Xilin in the face while she was stunned, but Xilin also slashed his chest.

Xilin stepped back, flicked the blood off Luo Chen with the Void Spear beside her, and covered her nose without saying a word.

Luo Chen felt a burning pain in his chest. He looked down at the wound on his chest that was still bleeding and complained that the armor was really fragile.

"If you push any harder, I'll die."

This wound wouldn't heal quickly, but leaving it untreated would also affect the battle, so Luo Chen came up with a crazy idea.

Luo Chen's fingers ignited with flames as he endured the excruciating pain to burn the wound shut, his forehead covered in sweat.
