Luo Chen looked towards the camp exit and waved to the two of them.

Walking through the ruins, Lilith kept looking around, pulling Yuno aside and asking her all sorts of questions, while Yuno kept explaining things to her.

"You two, be quiet, something's coming."

Luo Chen gestured for the two to be quiet, drew the knife from his back, and silently looked at the corner not far away.

A short while later, a small group of assassins emerged from around the corner. Luo Chen turned to look at Lilith, who immediately set up a sniper rifle, aimed at one of the assassins' heads, and shot him in the head.

"Yuno, go practice. Remember to use your powers sparingly."

After Luo Chen finished speaking, Yuno rushed forward with her naginata, sweeping it across the group of assassins, cutting down several of them before attacking the assassins on the right.

"Lilith, the one on the left is yours."

"Good."

Lilith adjusted her direction, said excitedly, and then fired at the assassins.

Before long, the two had cleared out the assassins. Yuno twirled her naginata around, forcefully shaking off the bloodstains on the blade, before returning.

"Well done."

"hey-hey."

Hearing Luo Chen praise her, Yuna seemed a little embarrassed, and her face turned slightly red.

"Yuno, you're blushing!"

Lilith put away her sniper rifle and looked at Yuno, who had a mischievous expression on her face.

"No way! Ah! Lilith, what are you doing!"

As soon as Yuno retorted, Lilith hugged her, grinning foolishly, "My Yuno is still the cutest."

As she spoke, Lilith rubbed her face against Yuno's, making Yuno blush even more.

Yuno stomped her foot in frustration and quickly chased after them.

"Hey, you guys, wait for me!"

Seeing that the two had already run away, Lilith shouted and helplessly followed them.

"Damn it, we lost them."

Luo Chen chased after that pink figure for a long time, but after turning a corner, he could no longer sense her Honkai energy. He thought to himself, 'That Yae Sakura is incredibly fast.'

"Luo Chen, what are you chasing?" Yuno stopped beside Luo Chen, leaning on her naginata and panting, "I almost couldn't catch up with him."

Luo Chen shook his head, thinking that it was best not to talk about Yae Sakura for the time being.

Seeing that Luo Chen seemed unwilling to tell her, Yuna didn't press the matter further.

Lilith called after her, and as soon as she reached Yuno's side, she threw the box on her back to the ground and sat down, panting.

Yuno didn't think much of it; her eyes lit up when she saw the scene.

"Never mind, let's report it to Himeko-sensei first."

After Luo Chen reported the scene and strange situation to Himeko, he said to the two of them, "Alright, stop looking. Teacher Himeko wants us to go back."

"Oh."

Yuna snapped out of her daze, turned to answer Luo Chen, grabbed Lilith who was already slumped on the ground, and went back with Luo Chen.

Why does this thing look so familiar?

Luo Chen looked at the cherry blossom trees in the distance and muttered to himself with some confusion.

"Luo Chen, let's go! Lilith is already complaining."

"Okay, here we come."

Luo Chen agreed, and after glancing at the cherry blossom tree one last time, he went back with Yuno.

After Luo Chen and the other two left, the cherry blossom tree suddenly emitted a faint glow. After a few seconds, it returned to normal, as if nothing had happened.

Chapter 21, a proper mission? Not a chance!

After returning to the camp, Luo Chen and Yuno parted ways and Luo Chen went to find Himeko.

"I've already instructed the Valkyrie unit stationed there to handle the location you reported, so don't worry."

As Ji Zi spoke, she put her arm around Luo Chen's neck and looked at him with a smile: "Not bad, little guy. I've been keeping an eye on your team's situation. You've been cooperating well."

"Himeko-sensei, you flatter me. It's all thanks to Yuno and the other two for their excellent teamwork; otherwise, things wouldn't have gone so smoothly."

"Stop being humble."

Ji Zi released Luo Chen, patted his shoulder, and said to him, "Alright, I won't keep you any longer. Go and get some rest."

"Okay, goodbye Himeko-sensei."

After saying goodbye to Himeko, Luo Chen, seeing that he still had some time, strolled around the camp.

Luo Chen turned around and saw Kiana waving at him, with Mei and Bronya standing to the side, so he walked over.
