Luo Chen watched Ji Zi speaking eloquently on stage, wondering how she could be so drunk the night before and so energetic the next morning.

Soon, drowsiness took over. Luo Chen used one hand to prop his head up and prevent himself from falling asleep, while his other hand gripped his thigh tightly, trying to dispel the sleepiness. This was Himeko's class, after all; being caught sleeping in her class would be a death sentence!

But anyone who's tried it knows that pinching your thigh is completely useless for someone who's really exhausted. Gradually, Luo Chen's head rested against the wall, and his breathing became even.

When the bell rang, the two people outside the classroom immediately stood up straight, not daring to relax for a moment.

Himeko walked out of the classroom with her textbooks, first looking at the two of them seriously, and finally sighing.

"I'll let it go this time, but if there's a next time, you'll be sorry. You two will clean the classroom after school."

"You're like some snake in paradise, all you're good for is your mouth."

"What did you say? What snake or anything?"

Kiana didn't understand what Luo Chen meant and kept pestering him to explain.

"It's fine as long as you don't understand it anyway."

Luo Chen walked into the classroom first, returned to his seat and sat down, while Mei remained silent beside him.

"Mei, what are you doing?"

Seeing Mei's unusual state, Luo Chen placed his hand on her head to confirm that she did not have a fever, which made him even more puzzled.

"You're not sick either?"

"Um, I'm sorry. I made you stand as punishment because I pulled your clothes."

Mei stammered for a while before explaining the situation to Luo Chen.

"That's it? No need to apologize."

Luo Chen leaned against the wall, nonchalantly saying, "I was sleeping anyway, so it's more comfortable to stand outside. At least I won't feel sleepy anymore."
