Kun Sheng shook his sleeve, easing Liu Kun Sheng's tense body.

"Hmm, perhaps so."

Then Kunsheng said uncertainly.

The past is unreachable; perhaps I really was involved in it back then?

After all, he would definitely participate in an event of such great significance as the Thirty-Six Thieves.

"Okay, let's not talk about this anymore."

"Come with me for a walk."

"There are so many, we can hardly see the road anymore."

"Could it be that, like in the original story, the Trinity Sect has disbanded?"

Kunsheng walked along the bush-covered road, his destination naturally being the Trinity Gate.

To Kun Sheng's surprise, after walking a few hundred meters, the remaining path showed signs of human footsteps.

"The Trinity Gate."

Without stopping along the way, Kunsheng arrived at the entrance of the Sanyi Gate.

Above the weathered mountain gate, the plaque that reads "Sanyi Gate" still hangs.

crunch~

Just as Kun Sheng stopped to watch, the mottled gate of the San Yi Gate opened.

An elderly man with white hair came out from inside, carrying a broom.

"Well?!"

The old man was taken aback when he saw Kunsheng bathed in sunlight.

Shaking his head to pull himself out of his past memories, the old man opened the door.

"It's rare to see young people coming to burn incense."

"Hey buddy, this way."

The old man placed the broom beside the gate and led the way for Kunsheng.

"it is good."

Kunsheng smiled and nodded, following the old man into the Sanyi Gate.

The architecture and layout are ambiguous.

The hall that once housed the statue of the patriarch has been replaced with one dedicated to the Three Pure Ones.

Following that was the True Martial Demon Subduing Hall, and the Divine Firmament Hall of the Antarctic Longevity Emperor.

Everything has been changed.

"Has the old man always lived here?"

After lighting the three incense sticks, Kunsheng looked at the old man beside him and said.

This enormous Trinity Gate seems to have been reduced to a temple.

It's still a temple that doesn't receive many worshippers.

"That's not really true."

"I went home for a while."

The old man seemed to recall something, then shook his head.

"This chair is nice."

Kunsheng smiled and pointed to a chair placed under a big tree.

"Hmm, it's really nice, made of pear wood."

The old man smiled.

The same seat the former gatekeeper used to sit in.

Did Lu Jin simply bring it out to commemorate the occasion but not put it back?

A hint of reminiscence flashed in the old man's eyes.

"Pear wood?"

Kun Sheng picked it up, a hint of interest appearing on his face at the opportune moment.

"Grandpa, may I sit down?"

"Don't worry, I definitely won't break it for you."

"A chair made of pear wood is worth hundreds of millions."

"You can sit down for a bit."

"But I can only sit on it for a short while, I'll have to put it away later."

The old man seemed to be in a daze for a moment, then nodded and said.

It was just a chair that almost got burned.

"Thank you."

Upon hearing the old man's words, Kunsheng smiled, bowed to him, and then walked towards the chair.

The old man involuntarily raised his eyebrows.

Kunsheng's ceremony is a unique ritual within the Sanyi School.

Could this child be a descendant of that fellow disciple?

Then it's perfectly fine to sit for a while.

"This chair still feels the same."

Kun Sheng sat upright in the chair, his hands resting on the armrests, his eyes slightly narrowed.

"this?!"

"Master?!"

Inside the courtyard, two voices rang out simultaneously.

Besides the old man who was showing Kunsheng around inside the Sanyi Gate, another old man appeared in the courtyard.

Both of them gasped in surprise as they looked at Kunsheng, who was sitting upright in the chair.

"Master!"

Following the shouts of the two men, Kun Sheng looked over and saw the two old men kneel down with a thud.

"Please get up, you two old folks."

"Jin'er, get up."

"Hao'er, get up."

Kunsheng's voice began to overlap with the person in their memories.

"Master!"

"Your disciple is unfilial, causing the Sanyi Sect to disintegrate!"

One of the old men immediately burst into tears, and while crying, he threw himself into Kunsheng's arms.

The other elderly person's performance wasn't much different.

"Lu Jin?"

Kun Sheng grinned, recognizing the identity of one of the two elderly men.

"Could the other one be Dog Egg?"

Kunsheng gently patted the heads of the two old men in front of him, his face contorting for a moment.

"Whose junior are you, and what are you doing here at the Sanyi Gate?!"

After venting his anger, Lu Jin came to his senses. His master had been dead for over a hundred years, so how could he possibly be in the Sanyi Sect?

Holding a great-grandchild and crying, Lu Jin had truly lost face today!

"Is this my fault?"

Looking at the two embarrassed old men in front of him, Kunsheng couldn't help but shrug.

"The two of you came up to me and started crying."

"Grandpa, I want to break free, but you two are holding me too tightly."

As he spoke, Kun Sheng looked helpless again and let out a deep sigh.

"Humph!"

Upon hearing Kunsheng's words, Lu Jin couldn't help but hum, her face flushing slightly again.

If there hadn't been a fourth person here, he probably would have committed suicide out of shame and indignation.
