Becoming a god by raising witches

Sieg said frankly.
Fresh beads of sweat appeared on Locke's forehead again.
So, is being a womanizer a family tradition? My uncle has already married five times and still likes to visit prostitutes.
"Just stay here and wait for my uncle to come back. I'll tell him then. He doesn't care about the rent."
Sieg sat down on the sofa, patted the dust off, and said this.
"Hmm, lazy maid, before you move in, you'll need to pay 50 mice to hire a general maid to do some cleaning. Do you want me to introduce you to one?"
"No need, Hannah and I can clean it ourselves."
Locke figured that if he rented the place, Hannah would most likely not allow him to hire another grocery maid.
"Okay, bring the contract to work tomorrow, I'll sign it, and this place is yours."
Sieg handed the key to Locke and said with a smile, "Please cherish it like a lover, and it will reward you with warmth and security."
"I will, thank you, Sieg."
Locke didn't mince words; he genuinely needed to move.
He took the keys and asked, "Do I need to pay a deposit?"
"No need. Give me the rent and contract tomorrow. I'll pay it monthly, or if you can afford it, I can pay it every six months."
"I will bring you the contract and 12 silver coins tomorrow."
Paying six months' rent was nothing to Locke.
Sieg nodded. “That’s good. I can invite you to the Rose Theatre. You must see Jacqueline; her flexibility has reached an astonishing level.”
"Boyd seems to like Jacqueline very much as well."
"No man dislikes Jacqueline, don't you like Jacqueline?"
Sieg looked at Locke suspiciously.
"I like Jacqueline."
Since you've already said that no man dislikes Jacqueline, what else can I say?
Sieg then showed Locke the garden and backyard, and took him to visit the basement before they left the villa. Sieg insisted that Locke invite him to the pub, and Locke couldn't refuse.
As the two walked past the street corner, they smelled a strong aroma of coffee.
"How about we don't go drinking? It's nice to have coffee once in a while."
Sieg suddenly said.
Locke nodded. "I think so too. It's nice to have coffee once in a while."
The two followed the aroma of coffee to the entrance of a coffee shop.
At this moment, large snowflakes began to fall from the sky.
"Another blizzard is coming. In this kind of weather, drinking a warm coffee in a coffee shop and chatting about life is simply a pleasure."
Sieg said with a smile.
"Yes, that's what I was thinking too, and I'd like to add a dessert."
Locke said with a smile.
They walked into Galken Coffee Shop almost without thinking.
The coffee shop door closed gently.
Compared to the cold outside, the coffee shop was warm and cozy.
The shop was already full of people, with groups of friends gathered in each booth, enjoying coffee and chatting in a warm and romantic atmosphere.
Sieg saw his uncle, Joris Haynes, who had been missing for several days.
A woman in a long dress sat next to him, and the two chatted and laughed like a loving couple. Yuris Haynes would occasionally kiss the woman's forehead.
Sieg walked over with a smile, "Uncle, so you were here."
Yuris Haynes turned around, glanced at Sieg, and looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"Who are you? I don't remember having a nephew this age, dear, do you?"
Yuris Haynes asked the woman beside him, who shook her head. "I don't remember either. Are you William?"
“No, I am Sig Bruce.”
Sieg introduced himself.
The woman shook her head in confusion, then smiled gently. “You must have mistaken us for someone else. We don’t have a nephew as big as you. Our nephew William is only 14 years old. He couldn’t possibly be as tall as you.”
"Yes, brother, you've mistaken me for someone else."
Yuris Haynes patted Sieg on the shoulder.
Looking at the scar and wedding ring on Yuris Haynes' left hand, Sieg was absolutely certain that the man in front of him was his uncle, but since he refused to acknowledge him, Sieg had no reason to expose him.
Sieg guessed that this was his uncle's doing; he was probably pursuing the woman next to him who wasn't particularly beautiful but must have a very good personality.
"Okay, sorry, I guess I mistook you for someone else."
Sieg shrugged and walked with Locke to an empty seat by the window.
There was someone sitting in that spot just now; it seems they made way for them on purpose.
However, Locke noticed that no one was leaving the coffee shop.
"Alice, listen to this, Boren is such a learned man, you are so lucky to have found such a fiancé."
"Mother, please don't praise Bolun like that, he'll get arrogant."
Two familiar voices drifted into Locke's ears.
He turned around and saw three people sitting in a booth in the corner of the coffee shop.
Andy Hagen, the Duke of Hagen's missing daughter, and her maid.
Since acquiring the [Acuity of Hearing] skill, Locke can easily recognize sounds he has heard before.
She and her maid are talking to a strange man.
"Alice, how about we set our wedding for a month from now?"
"Okay, Bolen, I'll do whatever you say."
Locke, relying on his exceptional hearing, overheard their conversation in the corner seats.
He raised an eyebrow, realizing the unusual behavior of Andy Hagen and her maid. How could these two be mother and daughter?
Moreover, how could Andy Hagen be named Alice and be engaged to the strange man across the street?
"This is the first time I've ever seen such an expression on my uncle's face. He must have found true love, and he doesn't even want his own nephew anymore."
Sig's voice pulled Locke back to reality.
Locke turned to look at Sieg.
Are you sure that's your uncle?
"Of course, but the woman next to him is definitely not a streetwalker. I can easily tell a woman's character; she is the kind of traditional wife who prioritizes her family."
Sieg said with a serious expression.
Locke narrowed his eyes, sensing that the people in the coffee shop were strange.
But he couldn't figure out what was strange about it; it was as if his thoughts had been fragmented.
A waiter wearing a black vest stepped forward and asked the two what they would like to order.
Sieg circled the coffee he wanted on the menu and handed it to Locke.
Locke looked at the waiter and said, "Black coffee will do."
"OK, just a second."
The waiter turned and left.
A girl with braided pigtails walked up and took Sieg's hand.
"Dad, Dad, what are you doing here? Come home with us, Mom is waiting for you at home."
Sieg waved his hand.
“My dear sweetheart, you’ve mistaken me for someone else. I’m not your father.”
The little girl walked away sadly, turning back every few steps, as if she really wanted Sieg to be her father.
The waiter quickly brought over two cups of coffee.
The aroma of the coffee is very enticing.
After careful observation, Locke found that there were neither floating eyeballs nor wriggling worms in the coffee, and after confirming that it was a normal cup of coffee, he drank it.
Sieg finished his coffee before him.
The little girl with braided pigtails came over again, took Sieg's hand, and said...
"Dad, Dad, what are you doing here? Come home with us, Mom is waiting for you at home."
