Becoming a god by raising witches

Eight blood-red eyes appeared on her face, making Locke's scalp tingle.
The last time I was this scared was when Rebecca found out.
"You remind me of a friend of mine, Sheria, but she hasn't shown up lately. Could you tell me where she went?"
"Krista asked."
Locke swallowed hard, watching her long nails scratch the mirror, making a sickening hissing sound.
Sheryl was actually her friend; what a twist of fate!
The witch named Sheria had only been gone for a short time.
“She is also my friend, but not only a friend, she is also my mother, and my skills come from her bloodline.”
Locke was talking nonsense with a straight face.
Krista was slightly taken aback.
"No wonder I sensed a familiar aura and a comforting scent from you; it turns out you also have the blood of a witch."
The familiar scent comes from the witch's necklace, and the welcoming feeling is most likely due to the witch's affinity.
Locke thought to himself, and replied,
"Yes, I am half witch and half human. Since we are friends, can we have a proper chat?"
Krista's eight eyes disappeared, replaced by pale blue pupils. She smiled at Locke.
"Let's make a deal."
"What deal?"
"If you tell me the whereabouts of the Witch's Book, I won't eat the mirror."
They actually uttered a blunder as uttered as that devil Rebecca.
Locke's lips twitched slightly.
“Transactions are supposed to be mutually beneficial, and I don’t think this is good for me; it looks like you’re threatening me.”
“Even Sheria has no right to negotiate with me, let alone you.”
Krista smiled as she looked in the mirror.
"Alright, I do know the whereabouts of the Witch's Book. In exchange, you must let me and Sieg leave here. And, I also want to take Miss Lucy with me."
Locke said, pretending to be deep in thought, resting his chin on his hand.
Krista nodded slightly. "Okay."
“If we can’t find that strange object, we can’t leave. You must first tell me what this strange object is that controls the separation between this place and the outside world, and where it is.”
Locke said.
Krista nodded again. "Okay."
So simple?
Locke looked at her suspiciously.
"If you think she lowered her guard and agreed to the deal because she believed you and thought you were the child of the witch Sheria, you are sorely mistaken. The witch Sheria could not have children. She has been around the witch of deception for a long time and has developed a mischievous personality. She is lying to you."
Eileen's voice rang in Locke's ears.
Locke nodded slightly; he couldn't possibly make a deal with Krista.
"The strange object is hidden in [The Girl's Smile]. You just need to find that painting, tear it open, and you will see another painting, [The Girl's Tears]. It depicts a helpless girl being attacked by a terrifying mud monster on a dark and gloomy street. With a little trickery, you can connect this painting to the passage outside. No matter how many times you leave the Earl's mansion, you will only wander in the alley."
Krista said with a smile.
Now that Locke knows Krista is lying, he certainly won't believe her.
How can you guarantee that we'll leave alive after I tell you?
Locke asked.
"Since you are my friend's child, of course I won't hurt you."
Krista said, "All you need to do is tear up that painting to break the sense of division around you and leave here smoothly."
"That mud monster terrified me. My friend and I were both injured. For our own safety, please forgive my caution. I hope you can write the outcome in a letter and have the postman deliver it after we've safely left, is that alright?"
Locke asked.
"No."
Krista's expression changed slightly; her smile faded, and her eyes turned cold.
"It seems you're not sincere about the deal. In that case, let's leave it at that."
As she spoke, she opened her blood-red mouth, intending to swallow the mirror whole.
Locke, fighting back nausea, shouted, "No, I'll talk!"
"You said."
Christa put down the mirror and looked at the masked boy in it.
"The Witch's Book is in the hands of our Director, Renis. She will soon hand it over to the church. If you want the book, you'd better go to her as soon as possible."
Locke swallowed hard as he spoke.
"Heh, do you really think I'm easy to fool?!"
Eight scarlet eyes reappeared on Krista's face.
Locke controlled his hair, letting the strands hang from the ceiling beams of the room. Just a second before Krista swallowed the mirror, he leaped and appeared on the ceiling of the house.
Christa's gorgeous dress burst open, eight legs sprouted from her body, and a white thread spit out of her open mouth.
Locke dodged the white silk in time and used his balance to land steadily on the ground.
"If Rhaenys finds the Witch's Book, would she need to use you as bait? Heh, since she's overestimating herself by releasing you, let me devour you! I can still obtain the memories in your mind!"
Krista's massive body charged toward Locke, her spider silk scattering everywhere.
These spider silks have excellent adhesive properties, comparable to the super glue used in Locke's previous life. Once touched, they will be firmly fixed.
Locke's torn clothes are the best proof.
Locke was clearly no match for the Thousand-Faced Spider who had transformed into Christa.
Eileen didn't want to get involved, so she could only control Locke's body and fight him.
Despite her enormous size, Krista was agile and quickly climbed from the ground to the ceiling, then chased after him back down to the ground.
Under Eileen's control, Locke's speed more than doubled, and he always narrowly escaped Krista's attacks, but his muscles had already suffered obvious strains, and he was in pain in his arms and calves.
However, now is not the time to worry about physical pain; preserving one's life is the most important thing.
Before anyone knew it, the room was filled with white spider silk, like a net woven into the sky. If it weren't for Eileen, Locke would probably have turned into a silkworm by now.
"You're not Sheria's child at all. You turned Sheria into a monster, didn't you? Let me see your abilities, Locke Bemon. Your father was a great magician. Heh, don't embarrass him."
Krista sneered as she pulled at the spiderwebs that filled the room...
Chapter 108, Fallen Angel Party
The spider silk tightened, about to wrap Locke up.
Locke's long black hair transformed into sharp blades, attempting to cut through the spider silk.
Unfortunately, Locke's hair was no match for the spider silk; not only could he not cut the silk, but he also got tangled in it.
Locke could only save his scalp by cutting his hair in time.
Locke took out the Shadow Candle, lit it, and countless shadows flew out from the eerie blue flame.
Krista's abdomen bulged, and insect eggs were transported out like chicken eggs. These eggs emitted a unique smell that attracted the Shadow, causing it to abandon its attack on Krista's main body and instead attack the insect eggs.
Locke, sweat beading on his forehead, took out the devil's pipe and called to Rebecca.
As long as the devil's pipe is by her side, Rebecca will respond to her master's call immediately, no matter where she is.
However, several minutes passed, and the demon Rebecca still did not appear.
"The strange creature has severed the connection between this place and the outside world, preventing you from summoning your demon."
Eileen reminded her.
Locke did not regret not bringing Rebecca with him to protect Hannah, which would have minimized his worries.
But now he desperately wants to find that strange object and tear it apart, because it completely blocks all communication with the outside world, and he can't even ask the Bureau of Paranormal Investigations for help.
I wonder if Sieg found that strange object.
While Locke was lost in thought, Krista had already launched a new attack.
In an instant, spider silk wrapped Locke up like a mummy.
The feeling of suffocation came instantly.
Eileen used her cat's claws to tear through the spider silk and rescued Locke.
Locke took a deep breath of the fresh air.
